Jeová abençoará Judá e Israel

1 Pedi a Jeová *Jl 2.23chuva no tempo das chuvas serôdias, sim, a Jeová que *Jr 10.13faz sair relâmpagos, e ele lhes dará *Is 30.23chuvas copiosas, dará a cada um erva no campo. 2 Pois os *Ez 21.21;Os 3.4terafins têm falado vaidade, *Jr 27.9e os adivinhadores têm visto mentira; têm contado *Jr 23.32sonhos falsos, procuram consolar em vão. Por isso, seguem o seu caminho *Ez 34.5,8como ovelhas; são aflitas, porque não há pastor. 3 Já se acendeu a minha *Jr 25.34-36ira contra os pastores, e castigarei os bodes; porque Jeová dos Exércitos *Ez 34.12tem visitado o seu rebanho, a casa de Judá, e os fará como o seu belo cavalo na batalha. 4 De Judá sairá a pedra angular, dele, o prego, dele, *Zc 9.10;Jr 51.20o arco de guerra, dele, todos os exatores juntos. 5 Eles serão como uns valentes que na batalha *2Sm 22.43pisam aos pés os seus inimigos na lama das ruas; pelejarão, porque Jeová está com eles; *Am 2.15;Ag 2.22e os que andam montados em cavalos serão confundidos. 6 *Zc 10.12Fortalecerei a casa de Judá *Zc 8.7;9.16e salvarei a casa de José; *Zc 8.8fá-los-ei voltar, porque *Zc 1.16;Is 54.8me compadeço deles; eles serão como se *Is 54.4eu não os tivera rejeitado, porque eu sou Jeová, seu Deus, *Zc 13.9e os ouvirei. 7 Os de Efraim serão *Zc 9.13,15como um valente, e o seu coração se regozijará como de vinho; *Is 54.13;Ez 37.25seus filhos o verão e se regozijarão; e o seu coração se alegrará em Jeová.

8 Eu lhes *Is 5.26;7.18-19assobiarei e os ajuntarei, porque os tenho remido; *Jr 33.22multiplicar-se-ão, como *Jr 30.20;Ez 36.11se têm multiplicado. 9 Eu os semearei por entre os povos, e em terras remotas *1Rs 8.47-48;Ez 6.9se lembrarão de mim; viverão com seus filhos e tornarão a vir. 10 Também *Is 11.11os farei voltar da terra do Egito, os congregarei da Assíria e os trarei para a terra *Jr 50.19de Gileade e do Líbano; *Is 49.19-20não se achará lugar para eles. 11 Ele passará *Is 51.9-10o mar de aflição e ferirá as ondas no mar, e todas as profundezas *Is 19.5-7do Nilo secarão; a soberba da *Sf 2.13Assíria será abatida, e o cetro do *Ez 30.13Egito se retirará. 12 Eu *Zc 10.6os fortalecerei em Jeová; *Mq 4.5e no seu nome andarão, diz Jeová.

5 And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.*10.5 the riders…: or, they shall make the riders on horses ashamed 6 And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them. 7 And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD. 8 I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased. 9 And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again. 10 I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them. 11 And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away. 12 And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD.
