Promessa de misericórdia a Sião

1 *Zc 1.18Levantei os olhos e vi, e eis um homem que tinha na mão *Zc 1.16;Jr 31.39;Ez 40.3;47.3um cordel de medir. 2 Então, perguntei: Para onde vais tu? Respondeu-me ele: *Jr 31.39;Ez 40.3;Ap 21.15-17Para medir a Jerusalém, a fim de ver qual é a sua largura e qual o seu comprimento. 3 Eis que saiu para fora *Zc 1.9o anjo que falava comigo, e outro anjo saiu-lhe ao encontro 4 e disse-lhe: Corre, fala a este *Jr 1.6;Dn 1.4;1Tm 4.12mancebo: *Zc 1.17;8.4-5Jerusalém será habitada como aldeias *Ez 38.11não muradas por causa *Is 49.20;Jr 30.19;33.22da multidão de homens e de animais que haverá nela. 5 Pois eu, diz Jeová, lhe serei *Is 4.5;26.1;60.18um muro de fogo ao redor e serei a *Zc 2.10-11;Ag 2.9glória no meio dela.

6 Ah! Ah! *Jr 3.18Fugi da terra do Norte, diz Jeová, porque vos tenho *Jr 31.10;Ez 11.16espalhado como os quatro ventos do céu, diz Jeová. 7 Ah! Sião, *Is 48.20;Jr 51.6escapa tu que habitas com a filha de Babilônia. 8 Pois assim diz Jeová dos Exércitos: Para obter *Is 60.7-9a glória, enviou-me às nações que vos despojaram; porque aquele que tocar em vós toca *Dt 32.10;Sl 17.8na menina do seu olho. 9 Pois eis que *Is 19.16agitarei a minha mão sobre eles, e eles virão a ser *Is 14.2o despojo dos que os serviam; *Zc 2.11e sabereis que Jeová dos Exércitos me enviou. 10 *Zc 9.9;Is 65.18-19Canta e regozija-te, filha de Sião, porque eis que venho *Zc 2.5;Zc 8.3e habitarei no meio de ti, diz Jeová. 11 Naquele dia, *Mq 4.2muitas nações se ajuntarão a Jeová e serão o meu povo; *Zc 2.5,10habitarei no meio de ti, *Zc 2.9e saberás que Jeová dos Exércitos me enviou a ti. 12 Jeová *Dt 32.9;Sl 33.12;Jr 10.16herdará a Judá como a sua porção na terra santa e ainda *Zc 1.17;2Cr 6.6;Sl 132.13-14escolherá a Jerusalém. 13 *Hc 2.20;Sf 1.7Cala-te, toda carne, diante de Jeová, porque ele *Sl 78.65;Is 51.9se levantou da sua santa habitação.

1 I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand. 2 Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof. 3 And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him, 4 And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein: 5 For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.

6 Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD. 7 Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon. 8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye. 9 For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.

10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD. 11 And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee. 12 And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again. 13 Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.*2.13 his…: Heb. the habitation of his holiness
