A visão dos quatro carros

1 De novo, *Zc 1.18;5.9levantei os meus olhos e vi: eis que *Zc 5.5;Zc 1.18;Dn 7.3;8.22quatro carros saíam dentre dois montes, e os montes eram de cobre. 2 No primeiro carro, eram *Zc 1.8cavalos vermelhos, no segundo carro, cavalos pretos, 3 no terceiro carro, cavalos brancos, e, no quarto carro, cavalos baios com malhas. 4 Então, falei e perguntei ao anjo que falava comigo: *Zc 1.9Que são estes, meu senhor? 5 Respondeu-me o anjo: Estes são *Jr 49.36;Ez 37.9;Dn 7.2;11.4;Mt 24.31;Ap 7.1os quatro ventos do céu, que saem de assistirem diante do Senhor de toda a terra. 6 O carro em que estão os cavalos pretos sai para a *Jr 1.14-15;4.6;6.1;25.9;46.10;Ez 1.4terra do Norte, e os brancos saíram atrás deles, e os malhados saíram para *Is 43.6;Dn 11.5a terra do Sul. 7 Saíram os baios e procuravam andar para *Zc 1.10percorrer a terra. Ele disse: Ide, andai pela terra. Andaram, pois, pela terra. 8 Então me clamou a mim e me disse: Eis que aqueles que saem para a terra do Norte *Zc 1.15;Ez 5.13;24.13fizeram repousar na terra do Norte o meu Espírito.

9 A *Zc 1.1;7.1;8.1palavra de Jeová veio a mim, dizendo: 10 *Ed 7.14-16;8.26-30;Jr 28.6Recebe da mão dos do cativeiro, a saber, de Heldai, de Tobias e de Jedaías, e vem tu no mesmo dia, e entra na casa de Josias, filho de Sofonias, para a qual vieram de Babilônia; 11 recebe deles ouro e prata, e faze *2Sm 12.30;Sl 21.3;Ct 3.11coroas, e põe-nas na cabeça do sumo sacerdote *Zc 3.1;Ed 3.2;Ag 1.1Josué, filho de Jeozadaque. 12 Fala-lhe: Assim diz Jeová dos Exércitos: Eis o homem cujo nome é o *Zc 3.8;Is 4.2;11.1;Jr 23.5;33.15Renovo; *Is 53.2brotará do seu lugar *Zc 4.6-9;Ed 3.8,10;Am 9.11e edificará o templo de Jeová. 13 Ele edificará o templo de Jeová; *Is 9.6;11.10;22.24;49.5-6levará a glória, e se assentará, e *Sl 9.7dominará no seu trono; será *Sl 110.1,4sacerdote sobre o seu trono, e haverá entre os dois o conselho de paz. 14 As *Zc 6.11coroas servirão a Helém, e a Tobias, e a Jedaías, e a Hem, filho de Sofonias, de memorial no templo de Jeová. 15 *Is 56.6-8;60.10Aqueles que estão longe virão e edificarão no templo de Jeová, e *Zc 2.9-11;4.9sabereis que Jeová dos Exércitos me enviou a vós. Isso sucederá se diligentemente *Zc 3.7;Is 58.10-14;Jr 7.23obedecerdes à voz de Jeová, vosso Deus.

1 And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass. 2 In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses; 3 And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses.*6.3 bay: or, strong 4 Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord? 5 And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.*6.5 spirits: or, winds 6 The black horses which are therein go forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth toward the south country. 7 And the bay went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth. 8 Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

9 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 10 Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, which are come from Babylon, and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah; 11 Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest; 12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:*6.12 grow…: or, branch up from under him 13 Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. 14 And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of the LORD. 15 And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of the LORD, and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.
