1 Vi ainda, no céu, outro sinal, grande e maravilhoso: sete Anjos que tinham os sete últimos flagelos, porque por eles é que se deve consumar a ira de Deus.2 Vi também como que um mar transparente, irisado de fogo, e os vencedores, que haviam escapado à Fera, à sua imagem e ao número do seu nome, conservavam-se de pé sobre esse mar com as cítaras de Deus.3 Cantavam o cântico de Moisés, o servo de Deus, e o cântico do Cordeiro, dizendo: Grandes e admiráveis são as tuas obras, Senhor Deus Dominador. Justos e verdadeiros são os teus caminhos, ó Rei das nações!4 Quem não temerá, Senhor, e não glorificará o teu nome? Só tu és santo e todas as nações virão prostrar-se diante de ti, porque se tornou manifesta a retidão dos teus juízos.5 Depois disso, eu vi abrir-se no céu o templo que encerra o Tabernáculo do Testemunho.6 Os sete Anjos que tinham os sete flagelos saíram do templo, vestidos de linho puro e resplandecente, cingidos ao peito com cintos de ouro.7 Um dos quatro Animais deu-lhes então sete taças de ouro, cheias da ira de Deus que vive pelos séculos dos séculos.8 Encheu-se o templo de fumaça provinda da glória de Deus e do seu poder. E ninguém podia entrar, enquanto não se consumassem os sete flagelos dos sete Anjos.

1 And I saw another sign in the heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is completed the wrath of God.2 And I saw, as it were, a sea of glass mingled with fire and those that had gotten the victory over the beast and over its image and over its mark [and] over the number of its name stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.3 And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous [are] thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true [are] thy ways, [thou] King of saints.4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and magnify thy name? for [thou] only [art] holy; therefore, all the Gentiles shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.5 And after these things I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in the heaven was opened;6 and the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.7 And one of the four animals gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who lives for ever and ever.8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the majesty of God and from his power; and no one was able to enter into the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.:
