1 Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, "Keep all the commandment which I command you today. 2 It shall be on the day when you shall pass over the Jordan to the land which Yahweh your God gives you, that you shall set yourself up great stones, and coat them with plaster. 3 You shall write on them all the words of this law, when you have passed over, that you may go in to the land which Yahweh your God gives you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has promised you. 4 It shall be, when you have crossed over the Jordan, that you shall set up these stones, which I command you today, on Mount Ebal, and you shall coat them with plaster. 5 There you shall build an altar to Yahweh your God, an altar of stones. You shall not use any iron tool on them. 6 You shall build Yahweh your God’s altar of uncut stones. You shall offer burnt offerings on it to Yahweh your God. 7 You shall sacrifice peace offerings, and shall eat there. You shall rejoice before Yahweh your God. 8 You shall write on the stones all the words of this law very plainly."
9 Moses and the Levitical priests spoke to all Israel, saying, "Be silent and listen, Israel! Today you have become the people of Yahweh your God. 10 You shall therefore obey Yahweh your God’s voice, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command you today."
11 Moses commanded the people the same day, saying, 12 "These shall stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people, when you have crossed over the Jordan: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin. 13 These shall stand on Mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali. 14 With a loud voice, the Levites shall say to all the men of Israel, 15 ‘Cursed is the man who makes an engraved or molten image, an abomination to Yahweh, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret.’
All the people shall answer and say, ‘Amen.’
16 ‘Cursed is he who dishonors his father or his mother.’
All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
17 ‘Cursed is he who removes his neighbor’s landmark.’
All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
18 ‘Cursed is he who leads the blind astray on the road.’
All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
19 ‘Cursed is he who withholds justice from the foreigner, fatherless, and widow.’
All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
20 ‘Cursed is he who lies with his father’s wife, because he dishonors his father’s bed.’
All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
21 ‘Cursed is he who lies with any kind of animal.’
All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
22 ‘Cursed is he who lies with his sister, his father’s daughter or his mother’s daughter.’
All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
23 ‘Cursed is he who lies with his mother-in-law.’
All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
24 ‘Cursed is he who secretly kills his neighbor.’
All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
25 ‘Cursed is he who takes a bribe to kill an innocent person.’
All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’
26 ‘Cursed is he who doesn’t uphold the words of this law by doing them.’
All the people shall say, ‘Amen.’"
1 摩西和以色列的长老吩咐人民： "你们要遵守我今日吩咐你们的一切诫命。
2 将来你们过约旦河， 到了耶和华你的 神赐给你的土地的那一天， 你要立起几块大石头， 墁上石灰。
3 你过河以后， 要把这律法的一切话都写在石头上面， 使你可以进入耶和华你的 神赐给你的土地， 就是流奶与蜜的地， 正如耶和华你列祖的 神应许你的。
4 所以， 将来你们过了约旦河， 就要在以巴路山上， 照着我今日吩咐你们的， 把这些石头立起来， 墁上石灰。
5 在那里你要为耶和华你的 神筑一座石坛， 在石头上你不可动铁器。
6 你要用没有凿过的整块石头筑耶和华你的 神的坛； 在坛上你要献上燔祭给耶和华你的 神；
7 又要献上平安祭， 并且在那里吃喝； 也要在耶和华你的 神面前欢乐。
8 你要把这律法的一切话， 都清清楚楚写在石头上。"
9 摩西和利未支派的祭司对以色列众人说： "以色列啊， 要默默静听； 今日你已经成为耶和华你的 神的子民了。
10 所以你要听从耶和华你的 神的话， 遵行他的诫命和律例， 就是我今日吩咐你的。"
11 那天摩西又吩咐人民：
12 "你们过了约旦河以后， 西缅、利未、犹大、以萨迦、约瑟、便雅悯等支派的人， 要站在基利心山上为人民祝福；
13 流本、迦得、亚设、西布伦、但、拿弗他利等支派的人， 要站在以巴路山上宣布咒诅的话。
14 利未人要向以色列众人大声说：
15 "‘制造耶和华厌恶的雕像或铸像， 工人手中做的， 并且在暗处设立的， 那人必受咒诅。’众民都要应声说： ‘阿们。’
16 "‘轻慢父母的， 必受咒诅。’众民都要说： ‘阿们。’
17 "‘移动邻舍地界的， 必受咒诅。’众民都要说： ‘阿们。’
18 "‘使瞎子走错路的， 必受咒诅。’众民都要说： ‘阿们。’
19 "‘对寄居的和孤儿寡妇屈枉正直的， 必受咒诅。’众民都要说： ‘阿们。’
20 "‘和父亲的妻子同寝的， 必受咒诅， 因为他揭开了他父亲的衣襟。’众民都要说： ‘阿们。’
21 "‘和任何野兽同寝的， 必受咒诅。’众民都要说： ‘阿们。’
22 "‘和同父异母， 或是同母异父的姊妹同寝的， 必受咒诅。’众民都要说： ‘阿们。’
23 "‘和岳母同寝的， 必受咒诅。’众民都要说： ‘阿们。’
24 "‘暗中杀害邻舍的， 必受咒诅。’众民都要说： ‘阿们。’
25 "‘接受贿赂杀人， 流无辜人的血的， 必受咒诅。’众民都要说： ‘阿们。’
26 "‘不坚守这律法的话去遵行的， 必受咒诅。’众民都要说： ‘阿们。’"
