1 Now you shall gather yourself in troops,

daughter of troops.

like a young lion among the flocks of sheep;

12 I will destroy witchcraft from your hand.

You shall have no soothsayers.

15 I will execute vengeance in anger

and wrath on the nations that didn’t listen."

Când va veni asirianul în țara noastră și va pătrunde în palatele noastre, vom ridica împotriva lui șapte păstori și opt căpetenii ale poporului. 6 Ei vor pustii țara Asiriei cu sabia și țara lui*Gen. 10:8,10,11. Nimrod cu sabia scoasă din teacă. Ne va izbăvi*Luca 1:71. astfel de asirian când va veni în țara noastră și va pătrunde în ținutul nostru. 7 Rămășița*Vers. 3. lui Iacov va fi în mijlocul multor popoare ca o rouă*Deut. 32:2.Ps. 72:6;110:3. care vine de la Domnul, ca ploaia măruntă pe iarbă, care nu se bizuiește pe nimeni și nu atârnă de copiii oamenilor. 8 Rămășița lui Iacov va fi între neamuri, în mijlocul multor popoare, ca un leu între fiarele pădurii, ca un pui de leu între turmele de oi, care, când trece, calcă în picioare și sfâșie, și nimeni nu poate scăpa pe altul. 9 Ți se va ridica mâna peste potrivnicii tăi și toți vrăjmașii tăi vor fi nimiciți! 10 „În*Zah. 9:10. ziua aceea", zice Domnul, „îți voi nimici cu desăvârșire caii din mijlocul tău și-ți voi sfărâma carele; 11 voi nimici cu desăvârșire cetățile din țara ta și-ți voi surpa toate cetățuile. 12 Voi nimici cu desăvârșire descântecele din mijlocul tău și nu vei mai avea vrăjitori*Is. 2:6.; 13 voi nimici cu desăvârșire*Zah. 13:2. idolii tăi și stâlpii tăi idolești din mijlocul tău și nu te vei mai închina*Is. 2:8. la lucrarea mâinilor tale; 14 voi nimici cu desăvârșire din mijlocul tău astarteele tale și-ți voi dărâma idolii. 15 Mă voi răzbuna*Ps. 149:7.
