Jeremiah 1

6 But I protested, "Oh no, Lord God! Look, I don’t know how to speak  * 1:6 Ex 4:10; 1Co 2:1–5 since I am only a youth."  * 1:6 1Kg 3:7

7 Then the Lord said to me:

Do not say, "I am only a youth,"  * 1:7 1Tm 4:12

for you will go to everyone I send you to

and speak whatever I tell you.  * 1:7 Dt 18:18; Jr 1:17; Ezk 2:7

8 Do not be afraid of anyone,  * 1:8 Ezk 2:6

for I will be with you to rescue you.  * 1:8 Gn 26:3; 31:3; Ex 3:12; Is 43:2; Jr 15:20

This is the  Lord’s declaration.
