1 Coríntios 2

1 And I, when I came to you, brethren, came not in excellency of word, or wisdom, announcing to you the testimony of God. 2 For I did not judge it well to know anything among you save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling; 4 and my word and my preaching, not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power; 5 that your faith might not stand in men’s wisdom, but in God’s power.

6 But we speak wisdom among the perfect; but wisdom not of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who come to nought. 7 But we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, that hidden wisdom which God had predetermined before the ages for our glory: 8 which none of the princes of this age knew, (for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;) 9 but according as it is written, Things which eye has not seen, and ear not heard, and which have not come into man’s heart, which God has prepared for them that love him, 10 but God has revealed to us by his Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. 11 For who of men hath known the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? thus also the things of God knows no one except the Spirit of God. 12 But we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that we may know the things which have been freely given to us of God: 13 which also we speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, communicating spiritual things by spiritual means. 14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him; and he cannot know them because they are spiritually discerned; 15 but the spiritual discerns all things, and he is discerned of no one. 16 For who has known the mind of the Lord, who shall instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

1 ASÍ que, hermanos, cuando fuí á vosotros, ✝2.1 vers. 4,6,13. 2 Co. 1.12.no fuí con altivez de palabra, ó de sabiduría, á anunciaros ✝2.1 cp. 1.6.el testimonio de Cristo.

2 Porque no me propuse saber algo entre vosotros, ✝2.2 Ga. 6.14.sino á Jesucristo, y á éste crucificado.

3 Y estuve yo con vosotros ✝2.3 2 Co. 12.5,9,10. Ga. 4.13.con flaqueza, y mucho temor y temblor;

4 Y ni mi palabra ni mi predicación fué con palabras persuasivas de humana sabiduría, mas ✝2.4 1 Ts. 1.5.con demostración del Espíritu y de poder;

5 Para que vuestra fe no esté fundada en sabiduría de hombres, mas ✝2.5 2 Co. 4.7 y 6.7.en poder de Dios.

6 Empero hablamos sabiduría de Dios ✝2.6 cp. 14.20.entre perfectos; y sabiduría, no ✝2.6 cp. 1.20.de este siglo, ni de los príncipes de este siglo, que se deshacen:

7 Mas hablamos sabiduría de Dios en misterio, la sabiduría oculta, ✝2.7 Ro. 16.25.la cual Dios predestinó antes de los siglos para nuestra gloria:

8 ✝ 2.8 Mt. 11.25. La que ninguno de los príncipes de este siglo conoció; porque ✝2.8 Hch. 3.17.si la hubieran conocido, nunca hubieran crucificado al ✝2.8 Sal. 24.7-10.Señor de gloria:

9 Antes, como está escrito:

✝ 2.9 Is. 64.4. Cosas que ojo no vió, ni oreja oyó,

Ni han subido en corazón de hombre, Son

las que ha Dios ✝2.9 Mt. 25.34.preparado para aquellos que le aman.

10 Empero ✝2.10 Jn. 14.26.Dios nos lo reveló á nosotros por el Espíritu: porque el Espíritu todo lo escudriña, aun lo profundo de Dios.

11 Porque ¿quién de los hombres sabe las cosas del hombre, sino el espíritu del hombre que está en él? Así tampoco nadie conoció las cosas de Dios, sino ✝2.11 Ro. 8.9.el Espíritu de Dios.

1 Los obreros cristianos como

2 coadjutores de Dios.

12 Y ✝2.12 Ro. 8.15.nosotros hemos recibido, no el espíritu del mundo, sino el Espíritu que es de Dios, para que conozcamos lo que Dios nos ha dado;

13 Lo cual también hablamos, ✝2.13 cp. 1.17.no con doctas palabras de humana sabiduría, mas con doctrina del Espíritu, ✝2.13 2 Co. 10.12.acomodando lo espiritual á lo espiritual.

14 Mas el ✝2.14 cp. 15.44,46.hombre animal no percibe las cosas que son del Espíritu de Dios, ✝2.14 cp. 1.18,21,23.porque le son locura: y ✝2.14 Ro. 8.5,7.no las puede entender, porque se han de examinar espiritualmente.

15 Empero el espiritual juzga todas las cosas; mas él no es juzgado de nadie.

16 Porque ✝2.16 Is. 40.13.¿quién conoció la mente del Señor? ¿quién le instruyó? Mas ✝2.16 Jn. 15.15.nosotros tenemos la mente de Cristo.
