1 Coríntios 12

1 But concerning spiritual manifestations, brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant. 2 Ye know that when ye were of the nations ye were led away to dumb idols, in whatever way ye might be led. 3 I give you therefore to know, that no one, speaking in the power of the Spirit of God, says, Curse on Jesus; and no one can say, Lord Jesus, unless in the power of the Holy Spirit. 4 But there are distinctions of gifts, but the same Spirit; 5 and there are distinctions of services, and the same Lord; 6 and there are distinctions of operations, but the same God who operates all things in all. 7 But to each the manifestation of the Spirit is given for profit. 8 For to one, by the Spirit, is given the word of wisdom; and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; 9 and to a different one faith, in the power of the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healing in the power of the same Spirit; 10 and to another operations of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to a different one kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues. 11 But all these things operates the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each in particular according as he pleases.

12 For even as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also is the Christ. 13 For also in the power of one Spirit we have all been baptised into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bondmen or free, and have all been given to drink of one Spirit. 14 For also the body is not one member but many. 15 If the foot say, Because I am not a hand I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body? 16 And if the ear say, Because I am not an eye I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where the hearing? if all hearing, where the smelling? 18 But now God has set the members, each one of them in the body, according as it has pleased him. 19 But if all were one member, where the body? 20 But now the members are many, and the body one. 21 The eye cannot say to the hand, I have not need of thee; or again, the head to the feet, I have not need of you. 22 But much rather, the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary; 23 and those parts of the body which we esteem to be the more void of honour, these we clothe with more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness; 24 but our comely parts have not need. But God has tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to the part that lacked; 25 that there might be no division in the body, but that the members might have the same concern one for another. 26 And if one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; and if one member be glorified, all the members rejoice with it.

27 Now ye are Christ’s body, and members in particular. 28 And God has set certain in the assembly: first, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then miraculous powers; then gifts of healings; helps; governments; kinds of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all in possession of miraculous powers? 30 have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? 31 But desire earnestly the greater gifts, and yet shew I unto you a way of more surpassing excellence.

3 Por tanto os hago saber, que ✝12.3 1 Jn. 4.2,3.nadie que hable por Espíritu de Dios, llama ✝12.3 cp. 16.22.anatema á Jesús; y ✝12.3 Mt. 16.17.nadie puede llamar á Jesús Señor, sino por Espíritu Santo.

4 Empero ✝12.4 Ro. 12.4-6. cp. 7.7.hay repartimiento de dones; mas ✝12.4 Ef. 4.4-6.el mismo Espíritu es.

5 Y hay ✝12.5 Ef. 4.11.repartimiento de ministerios; mas el mismo Señor es.

6 Y hay repartimiento de operaciones; mas el mismo Dios ✝12.6 Ef. 1.23.es el que obra todas las cosas en todos.

7 Empero á cada uno ✝12.7 Ro. 12.6,8. 1 P. 4.10,11.le es dada manifestación del Espíritu para provecho.

8 Porque á la verdad, á éste es dada por el Espíritu palabra de ✝12.8 Ef. 1.17. Col. 1.9.sabiduría; á otro, palabra de ✝12.8 cp. 13.2,8 y 14.6. 2 P. 1.5.ciencia según el mismo Espíritu;

9 A otro, ✝12.9 cp. 13.2.fe por el mismo Espíritu, y á otro, ✝12.9 vers. 28,30dones de sanidades por el mismo Espíritu;

10 A otro, operaciones de milagros; y á otro, profecía; y á otro, ✝12.10 1 Jn. 4.1.discreción de espíritus; y á otro, ✝12.10 Hch. 2.4.géneros de lenguas; y á otro, ✝12.10 cp. 14.26.interpretación de lenguas.

11 Mas todas estas cosas obra uno y el mismo Espíritu, repartiendo particularmente á cada uno como quiere.

12 Porque ✝12.12 ver. 20. Ro. 12.4,5. cp. 10.17.de la manera que el cuerpo es uno, y tiene muchos miembros, empero todos los miembros del cuerpo, siendo muchos, son un cuerpo, así también Cristo.

13 Porque por un Espíritu somos todos bautizados en un cuerpo, ✝12.13 Ga. 3.28. Ef. 6.8.ora Judíos ó Griegos, ora siervos ó libres; y todos ✝12.13 Jn. 6.63 y 7.39.hemos bebido de ✝12.13 vers. 4,11un mismo Espíritu.

14 Pues ni tampoco el cuerpo es un miembro, sino muchos.

15 Si dijere el pie: Porque no soy mano, no soy del cuerpo: ¿por eso no será del cuerpo?

16 Y si dijere la oreja: Porque no soy ojo, no soy del cuerpo: ¿por eso no será del cuerpo?

17 Si todo el cuerpo fuese ojo, ¿dónde estaría el oído? Si todo fuese oído, ¿dónde estaría el olfato?

18 Mas ahora Dios ha colocado los miembros cada uno de ellos en el cuerpo, como quiso.

19 Que si todos fueran un miembro, ¿dónde estuviera el cuerpo?

20 Mas ahora muchos miembros son á la verdad, empero un cuerpo.

21 Ni el ojo puede decir á la mano: No te he menester: ni asimismo la cabeza á los pies: No tengo necesidad de vosotros.

22 Antes, mucho más los miembros del cuerpo que parecen más flacos, son necesarios;

23 Y á aquellos del cuerpo que estimamos ser más viles, á éstos vestimos más honrosamente; y los que en nosotros son menos honestos, tienen más compostura.

24 Porque los que en nosotros son más honestos, no tienen necesidad: mas Dios ordenó el cuerpo, dando más abundante honor al que le faltaba;

25 Para que no haya desavenencia en el cuerpo, sino que los miembros todos se interesen los unos por los otros.

26 Por manera que si un miembro padece, todos los miembros á una se duelen; y si un miembro es honrado, todos los miembros ✝12.26 Ro. 12.15.a una se gozan.

27 Pues ✝12.27 Ro. 12.5. cp. 10.17. Ef. 1.23 y 3.6 y 4.12. Col. 1.24.vosotros sois el cuerpo de Cristo, y ✝12.27 Ef. 5.30.miembros en parte.

28 Y á unos puso Dios en la iglesia, primeramente ✝12.28 Ef. 4.11.apóstoles, luego ✝12.28 Hch. 11.27.profetas, lo tercero doctores; luego ✝12.28 ver. 10facultades; luego dones de sanidades, ayudas, ✝12.28 Ro. 12.8. 1 Ti. 5.17. 1 P. 5.1-3.gobernaciones, géneros de lenguas.

29 ¿Son todos apóstoles? ¿son todos profetas? ¿todos doctores? ¿todos facultades?

30 ¿Tienen todos dones de sanidad? ✝12.30 ver. 10¿hablan todos lenguas? ¿interpretan todos?

31 Empero ✝12.31 cp. 14.1,39.procurad los mejores dones; mas aun yo os muestro un camino más excelente.
