Oséias 3

1 And Jehovah said unto me, Go again, love a woman beloved of a friend, and an adulteress, according to the love of Jehovah for the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods, and love raisin-cakes. 2 So I bought her to me for fifteen silver pieces, and for a homer of barley, and a half-homer of barley. 3 And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be another man’s, and I will also be for thee. 4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without king, and without prince, and without sacrifice, and without statue, and without ephod and teraphim. 5 Afterwards shall the children of Israel return, and seek Jehovah their God*GodHebrew: Elohim and David their king; and shall turn with fear toward Jehovah and toward his goodness, at the end of the days.

1 Y DÍJOME otra vez Jehová: ✝3.1 cp. 1.2,3.Ve, ama una mujer amada de su compañero, ✝3.1 Jer. 3.20.aunque adúltera, como el amor de Jehová para con los hijos de Israel; los cuales miran á dioses ajenos, y aman frascos de vino.

2 Compréla entonces para mí por quince dineros de plata, y un homer y medio de cebada;

3 Y díjele: Tú estarás ✝3.3 Dt. 21.13.por mía muchos días: no fornicarás, ni tomáras otro varón; ni tampoco yo vendré á ti.

4 Porque muchos días estarán los hijos de Israel ✝3.4 cp. 10.3.sin rey, y sin príncipe, y ✝3.4 cp. 9.4.sin sacrificio, y sin estatua, y sin ✝3.4 Ex. 28.6.ephod, y sin ✝3.4 Jue. 17.5.teraphim.

5 Después volverán los hijos de Israel, y buscarán á Jehová su Dios, y á ✝3.5 Jer. 23.5 y 30.9.David su rey; y temerán á Jehová y á ✝3.5 Jer. 31.12.su bondad en el fin de los días.
