João 15

1 Ich bin der wahre Weinstock, und mein Vater ist der Weingärtner. *Eig. Ackerbauer2 Jede Rebe an *Eig. in mir, die nicht Frucht bringt, die nimmt er weg; und jede, die Frucht bringt, die reinigt er, auf daß sie mehr Frucht bringe. 3 Ihr seid schon rein um des Wortes willen, das ich zu euch geredet habe. 4 Bleibet in mir, und ich in euch. Gleichwie die Rebe nicht von sich selbst Frucht bringen kann, sie bleibe denn am Weinstock, also auch ihr nicht, ihr bleibet denn in mir. 5 Ich bin der Weinstock, ihr seid die Reben. Wer in mir bleibt und ich in ihm, dieser bringt viel Frucht, denn außer mir *Eig. getrennt von mir könnt ihr nichts tun. 6 Wenn jemand nicht in mir bleibt, so wird er hinausgeworfen wie die Rebe und verdorrt; *Eig. in mir geblieben ist, so ist er hinausgeworfen worden… und ist verdorrt und man sammelt sie und wirft sie ins Feuer, und sie verbrennen. 7 Wenn ihr in mir bleibet und meine Worte in euch bleiben, so werdet ihr bitten, was ihr wollt, und es wird euch geschehen. 8 Hierin wird mein Vater verherrlicht, daß ihr viel Frucht bringet, und ihr werdet meine *Eig. mir Jünger werden *Eig. ist… verherrlicht worden, daß ihr… gebracht habt, und ihr werdet… geworden sein.

9 Gleichwie der Vater mich geliebt hat, habe auch ich euch geliebt; bleibet in meiner Liebe. 10 Wenn ihr meine Gebote haltet, so werdet ihr in meiner Liebe bleiben, gleichwie ich die Gebote meines Vaters gehalten habe und in seiner Liebe bleibe. 11 Dies habe ich zu euch geredet, auf daß meine Freude in euch sei und eure Freude völlig *O. voll, vollgemacht werde. 12 Dies ist mein Gebot, daß ihr einander liebet, gleichwie ich euch geliebt habe. 13 Größere Liebe hat niemand, als diese, daß jemand sein Leben läßt *Eig. eingesetzt, darlegt für seine Freunde. 14 Ihr seid meine Freunde, wenn ihr tut, was irgend ich euch gebiete. 15 Ich nenne euch nicht mehr Knechte, *O. Sklaven (Sklave) denn der Knecht *O. Sklaven (Sklave) weiß nicht, was sein Herr tut; aber ich habe euch Freunde genannt, weil ich alles, was ich von meinem *O. von seiten meines Vater gehört, euch kundgetan habe. 16 Ihr habt nicht mich auserwählt, sondern ich habe euch auserwählt und euch gesetzt, auf daß ihr hingehet und Frucht bringet, und eure Frucht bleibe, auf daß, was irgend ihr den Vater bitten werdet in meinem Namen, er euch gebe. 17 Dies gebiete ich euch, daß ihr einander liebet.

18 Wenn die Welt euch haßt, so wisset, *O. so wisset ihr daß sie mich vor euch gehaßt hat. 19 Wenn ihr von der Welt wäret, würde die Welt das Ihrige lieben; weil ihr aber nicht von der Welt seid, sondern ich euch aus der Welt auserwählt habe, darum haßt euch die Welt. 20 Gedenket des Wortes, das ich euch gesagt habe: Ein Knecht *O. Sklave ist nicht größer als sein Herr. Wenn sie mich verfolgt haben, werden sie auch euch verfolgen; wenn sie mein Wort gehalten haben, werden sie auch das eure halten. 21 Aber dies alles werden sie euch tun um meines Namens willen, weil sie den nicht kennen, der mich gesandt hat. 22 Wenn ich nicht gekommen wäre und zu ihnen geredet hätte, so hätten sie keine Sünde; jetzt aber haben sie keinen Vorwand für ihre Sünde. 23 Wer mich haßt, haßt auch meinen Vater. 24 Wenn ich nicht die Werke unter ihnen getan hätte, die kein anderer getan hat, so hätten sie keine Sünde; jetzt aber haben sie gesehen und gehaßt sowohl mich als auch meinen Vater. 25 Aber auf daß das Wort erfüllt würde, das in ihrem Gesetz geschrieben steht: "Sie haben mich ohne Ursache gehaßt". *Ps. 69,4

26 Wenn aber der Sachwalter *O. Fürsprecher, Tröster; so auch Kap. 16,7 gekommen ist, den ich euch von dem Vater senden werde, der Geist der Wahrheit, der von dem Vater ausgeht, so wird er von mir zeugen. 27 Aber auch ihr zeuget, weil ihr von Anfang an bei mir seid.

Ko Īhu te Wāina Pono

1 "Ko ahau te wāina pono, ko tōku Matua te kaimahi. 2 Ko ngā manga katoa i roto i ahau e kore e whai hua, e tangohia e ia. Ko ngā mea katoa hoki e whai hua ana, ka whakapaia e ia, kia maha atu ai ōna hua. 3 Nā, kua mā tēnei koutou i te kupu i kōrerotia e ahau ki a koutou. 4 Kia ū koutou ki roto ki ahau, me ahau hoki ki roto ki a koutou. Ka rite hoki ki te manga e kore e whai hua ko ia anake, ki te kāhore e ū ki te wāina; e kore anō hoki koutou, ki te kore e ū ki roto ki ahau.

5 "Ko ahau te wāina, ko koutou ngā manga. Ki te ū tētahi ki roto ki ahau, me ahau hoki ki roto ki a ia, ka maha o tērā hua; ki te motu kē hoki i ahau, e kore tētahi mea e taea e koutou. 6 Ki te kore e ū tētahi ki roto ki ahau, ka makā atu ia, ānō he manga, ā, ka maroke; nā, ka kohikohia, ka makā ki te kāpura, ka tahuna. 7 Ki te ū koutou ki roto ki ahau, ki te ū anō āku kupu ki roto ki a koutou, īnoia e koutou tā koutou e pai ai, ā, ka meatia mā koutou. 8 Ka whakakorōriatia tōku Matua ki te pēnei, ki te whai hua maha koutou, ā, ka meinga koutou he ākonga nāku.

9 "Rite tonu ki tō te Matua aroha ki ahau tōku aroha ki a koutou; kia ū ki tōku aroha. 10 Ki te pupuri koutou i āku ture, ka ū koutou ki tōku aroha; me ahau hoki kua pupuri nei i ngā ture a tōku Matua, ka ū nei ki tōna aroha. 11 Kua kōrerotia ēnei mea e ahau ki a koutou, kia pūmau ai tōku koa i roto i a koutou, kia tino kī ai tō koutou koa. 12 Ko tāku ture tēnei, kia aroha koutou tētahi ki tētahi, me ahau hoki kua aroha nei ki a koutou. 13 Kāhore he aroha o tētahi i rahi ake i tēnei, arā, kia tuku te tangata i a ia anō kia mate mō ōna hoa. 14 Ko koutou ōku hoa, ki te meatia e koutou āku e whakahau nei ki a koutou. 15 Heoi anō tāku meatanga he pononga koutou; e kore hoki te pononga e mōhio ki tā tōna ariki e mea ai; engari, kua oti koutou te hua e ahau he hoa; ko āku mea katoa hoki i rongo ai ahau ki tōku Matua, kua oti te whakakite e ahau ki a koutou. 16 Kāhore koutou i whiriwhiri i ahau, engari, nāku koutou i whiriwhiri, nāku anō koutou i mea kia haere, kia whai hua, kia mau tonu hoki ō koutou hua; ā, ko tā koutou e īnoi ai ki te Matua i runga i tōku ingoa, ka hoatu e ia ki a koutou. 17 Ko āku whakahau ēnei ki a koutou, kia aroha koutou tētahi ki tētahi."

Ko te Kino o te Ao

18 "Ki te mea e kinongia ana koutou e te ao, e mōhio ana koutou i kinongia ahau i mua i a koutou. 19 Mehemea nō te ao koutou, e arohaina e te ao ōna. Tēnā ko tēnei, ehara nei koutou i te ao, nāku koutou i whiriwhiri i roto i te ao, koia te ao ka kino ai ki a koutou. 20 Kia mahara ki te kupu i kōrero ai ahau ki a koutou, kāhore te pononga e rahi ake i tōna ariki. Ki te mea i whakatoia ahau e rātou, ka whakatoia anō koutou; ki te mea i pupuri rātou i tāku kupu, ka pupuri anō rātou i tā koutou. 21 Otirā, e meatia katoatia ēnei mea e rātou ki a koutou he whakaaro ki tōku ingoa, nō te mea kāhore rātou i mōhio ki tōku kaitono mai. 22 Me i kaua ahau te haere mai, te kōrero ki a rātou, pēnei kāhore ō rātou hara. Tēnā ko tēnei, kāhore ō rātou whakaoraora mō tō rātou hara. 23 Ko te tangata e whakakino ana ki ahau, e whakakino ana hoki ki tōku Matua. 24 Me i kaua te mahia e ahau i roto i a rātou ngā mahi kāhore i mahia e tētahi atu, pēnei kāhore ō rātou hara. Tēnā ko tēnei, kua kite rātou, kua whakakino anō hoki ki a māua tahi ko tōku Matua. 25 Mā tēnei ia ka rite ai te kupu i tuhituhia ki tā rātou ture, ‘Kua kino noa rātou ki ahau.’

26 "Otiia, ka tae mai te Kaiwhakamārie e tonoa mai e ahau ki a koutou i te Matua, te Wairua o te pono, e puta mai ana i te Matua, ko ia hei kaiwhakaatu mōku: 27 ko koutou anō hoki hei kaiwhakaatu, nō te mea i ahau koutou nō te tīmatanga iho rā anō."
