1 Nowe when he was come downe from the mountaine, great multitudes followed him. 2 And loe, there came a Leper and worshipped him, saying, Master, if thou wilt, thou canst make me cleane. 3 And Iesus putting foorth his hand, touched him, saying, I will, be thou cleane: and immediatly his leprosie was clensed. 4 Then Iesus saide vnto him, See thou tell no man, but goe, and shewe thy selfe vnto the Priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a witnesse to them. 5 When Iesus was entred into Capernaum, there came vnto him a Centurion, beseeching him, 6 And saide, Master, my seruant lieth sicke at home of the palsie, and is grieuously pained. 7 And Iesus saide vnto him, I will come and heale him. 8 But the Centurion answered, saying, Master, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come vnder my roofe: but speake the worde onely, and my seruant shall be healed. 9 For I am a man also vnder the authoritie of an other, and haue souldiers vnder me: and I say to one, Goe, and he goeth: and to another, Come, and he commeth: and to my seruant, Doe this, and he doeth it. 10 When Iesus heard that, he marueiled, and said to them that folowed him, Verely, I say vnto you, I haue not found so great faith, euen in Israel. 11 But I say vnto you, that many shall come from the East and West, and shall sit downe with Abraham, and Isaac, and Iacob, in the kingdome of heauen. 12 And the children of the kingdome shall be cast out into vtter darkenes: there shalbe weeping and gnashing of teeth. 13 Then Iesus saide vnto the Centurion, Goe thy way, and as thou hast beleeued, so be it vnto thee, And his seruant was healed the same houre. 14 And when Iesus came to Peters house, he sawe his wiues mother layed downe, and sicke of a feuer. 15 And he touched her hande, and the feuer left her: so she arose, and ministred vnto them. 16 When the Euen was come, they brought vnto him many that were possessed with deuils: and he cast out the spirits with his worde, and healed all that were sicke, 17 That it might be fulfilled, which was spoken by Esaias the Prophet, saying, He tooke our infirmities, and bare our sickenesses. 18 And when Iesus sawe great multitudes of people about him, he commanded them to goe ouer the water. 19 Then came there a certaine Scribe, and said vnto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoeuer thou goest. 20 But Iesus saide vnto him, The foxes haue holes, and the birdes of the heauen haue nestes, but the Sonne of man hath not whereon to rest his head. 21 And another of his disciples saide vnto him, Master, suffer me first to goe, and burie my father. 22 But Iesus said vnto him, Followe me, and let the dead burie their dead. 23 And when he was entred into ye ship, his disciples followed him. 24 And beholde, there arose a great tempest in the sea, so that the ship was couered with waues: but he was a sleepe. 25 Then his disciples came, and awoke him, saying, Master, saue vs: we perish. 26 And he said vnto them, Why are ye fearefull, O ye of litle faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea: and so there was a great calme. 27 And the men marueiled, saying, What man is this, that both the windes and the sea obey him! 28 And when he was come to the other side into ye countrey of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with deuils, which came out of the graues very fierce, so that no man might goe by that way. 29 And beholde, they cryed out, saying, Iesus the sonne of God, what haue we to do with thee? Art thou come hither to tormet vs before ye time? 30 Nowe there was, afarre off from them, a great heard of swine feeding. 31 And the deuils besought him, saying, If thou cast vs out, suffer vs to goe into the heard of swine. 32 And he said vnto them, Go. So they went out and departed into the heard of swine: and beholde, the whole heard of swine ranne headlong into the sea, and died in the water. 33 Then the heardmen fled: and when they were come into the citie, they tolde all things, and what was become of them that were possessed with the deuils. 34 And beholde, all ye citie came out to meete Iesus: and when they sawe him, they besought him to depart out of their coastes.

1 Y COMO descendió del monte, le seguían muchas gentes.2 Y he aquí un leproso vino, y le adoraba, diciendo: Señor, si quisieres, puedes limpiarme.3 Y extendiendo Jesús su mano, le tocó, diciendo: Quiero; sé limpio. Y luego su lepra fué limpiada.4 Entonces Jesús le dijo: Mira, no lo digas á nadie; mas ve, muéstrate al sacerdote, y ofrece el presente que mandó Moisés, para testimonio á ellos.5 Y entrando Jesús en Capernaum, vino á él un centurión, rogándole,6 Y diciendo: Señor, mi mozo yace en casa paralítico, gravemente atormentado.7 Y Jesús le dijo: Yo iré y le sanaré.8 Y respondió el centurión, y dijo: Señor, no soy digno de que entres debajo de mi techado; mas solamente di la palabra, y mi mozo sanará.9 Porque también yo soy hombre bajo de potestad, y tengo bajo de mí soldados: y digo á éste: Ve, y va; y al otro: Ven, y viene; y á mi siervo: Haz esto, y lo hace.10 Y oyendo Jesús, se maravilló, y dijo á los que le seguían: De cierto os digo, que ni aun en Israel he hallado fe tanta.11 Y os digo que vendrán muchos del oriente y del occidente, y se sentarán con Abraham, é Isaac, y Jacob, en el reino de los cielos:12 Mas los hijos del reino serán echados á las tinieblas de afuera: allí será el lloro y el crujir de dientes.13 Entonces Jesús dijo al centurión: Ve, y como creiste te sea hecho. Y su mozo fué sano en el mismo momento.14 Y vino Jesús á casa de Pedro, y vió á su suegra echada en cama, y con fiebre.15 Y tocó su mano, y la fiebre la dejó: y ella se levantó, y les servía.16 Y como fué ya tarde, trajeron á él muchos endemoniados: y echó los demonios con la palabra, y sanó á todos los enfermos;17 Para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por el profeta Isaías, que dijo: El mismo tomó nuestras enfermedades, y llevó nuestras dolencias.18 Y viendo Jesús muchas gentes alrededor de sí, mandó pasar á la otra parte del lago.19 Y llegándose un escriba, le dijo: Maestro, te seguiré á donde quiera que fueres.20 Y Jesús le dijo: Las zorras tienen cavernas, y las aves del cielo nidos; mas el Hijo del hombre no tiene donde recueste su cabeza.21 Y otro de sus discípulos le dijo: Señor, dame licencia para que vaya primero, y entierre á mi padre.22 Y Jesús le dijo: Sígueme; deja que los muertos entierren á sus muertos.23 Y entrando él en el barco, sus discípulos le siguieron.24 Y he aquí, fué hecho en la mar un gran movimiento, que el barco se cubría de las ondas; mas él dormía.25 Y llegándose sus discípulos, le despertaron, diciendo: Señor, sálvanos, que perecemos.26 Y él les dice: ¿Por qué teméis, hombres de poca fe? Entonces, levantándose, reprendió á los vientos y á la mar; y fué grande bonanza.27 Y los hombres se maravillaron, diciendo: ¿Qué hombre es éste, que aun los vientos y la mar le obedecen?28 Y como él hubo llegado en la otra ribera al país de los Gergesenos, le vinieron al encuentro dos endemoniados que salían de los sepulcros, fieros en gran manera, que nadie podía pasar por aquel camino.29 Y he aquí clamaron, diciendo: ¿Qué tenemos contigo, Jesús, Hijo de Dios? ¿has venido acá á molestarnos antes de tiempo?30 Y estaba lejos de ellos un hato de muchos puercos paciendo.31 Y los demonios le rogaron, diciendo: Si nos echas, permítenos ir á aquel hato de puercos.32 Y les dijo: Id. Y ellos salieron, y se fueron á aquel hato de puercos: y he aquí, todo el hato de los puercos se precipitó de un despeñadero en la mar, y murieron en las aguas.33 Y los porqueros huyeron, y viniendo á la ciudad, contaron todas las cosas, y lo que había pasado con los endemoniados.34 Y he aquí, toda la ciudad salió á encontrar á Jesús: Y cuando le vieron, le rogaban que saliese de sus términos.
