1 Allora Gesù fu condotto dallo Spirito su nel deserto, per esser tentato dal diavolo.

2 E dopo che ebbe digiunato quaranta giorni e quaranta notti, alla fine ebbe fame.

1 Then Jesus was carried up into the wilderness by the Spirit to be tempted of the devil:

2 and having fasted forty days and forty nights, afterwards he hungered.
