ဧ​လိ​ဟု၏​ဆုံး​မ​ခြင်း

1 ထို​သို့​ယော​ဘ​သည် မိ​မိ​ဖြောင့်​မတ်​သည်​ဟု ထင်​သော​ကြောင့်၊ ထို​သူ​သုံး​ယောက်​တို့​သည် ပြန်၍ မ​ပြော​ဘဲ​နေ​ကြ၏။ 2 ထို​အ​ခါ ဗု​ဇ​အ​မျိုး အာ​ရ​အ​နွယ်​ဖြစ်​သော ဗာ​ရ​ခေ​လ​သား​ဧ​လိ​ဟု​သည် အ​မျက်​ထွက်၏။ ယော​ဘ​သည် ဘု​ရား​သ​ခင်​ထက် မိ​မိ​ဖြောင့်​မတ်​ကြောင်း​ကို ပြ​သော​ကြောင့်၊ ယော​ဘ​ကို အ​မျက်​ထွက်၏။ 3 ယော​ဘ၏ အ​ဆွေ​ခင်​ပွန်း​သုံး​ယောက်​တို့​သည် ပြန်၍​မ​ပြော​နိုင်​သော်​လည်း၊ ယော​ဘ၌ အ​ပြစ်​ရှိ​သည်​ဟု စီ​ရင်​ကြ​သော​ကြောင့်၊ သူ​တို့​ကို​လည်း အ​မျက်​ထွက်၏။ 4 ဧ​လိ​ဟု​သည် သူ​တို့​ထက် အ​သက်​ငယ်​သော​ကြောင့်၊ ယော​ဘ​ပြော​သော စ​ကား​မ​ကုန်​မီ​တိုင်​အောင် ဆိုင်း​လင့်​လျက်​နေ၏။ 5 ထို​သူ​သုံး​ယောက်​တို့​သည် ပြန်၍​ပြော​စ​ရာ​စ​ကား မ​ရှိ​ကြောင်း​ကို သိ​မြင်​သော​အ​ခါ အ​မျက်​ထွက်​လေ၏။ 6 ထို​အ​ခါ ဗု​ဇ​အ​မျိုး ဗာ​ရ​ခေ​လ​သား​ဧ​လိ​ဟု မြွက်​ဆို​သည်​ကား၊ ငါ​သည် အ​သက်​ငယ်​ပါ၏။ သင်​တို့​သည် အ​လွန်​အ​သက်​ကြီး​ပါ၏။ ထို​ကြောင့် ငါ​သည်​ကြောက်၍ ကိုယ်​သ​ဘော​ကို​မ​ပြ​ဝံ့​ဘဲ နေ​ပါ​ပြီ။ 7 နေ့​ရက်​ကာ​လ တာ​ရှည်​သော​သူ​သည် စ​ကား​ပြော​အပ်၏။ နှစ်​ပေါင်း​များ​စွာ လွန်​သော​သူ​သည် ပ​ညာ​ကို သွန်​သင်​အပ်၏။ 8 သို့​ရာ​တွင် လူ​ထဲ၌​ဝိ​ညာဉ်​ရှိ၏။ ဘု​ရား​သ​ခင် အ​သက်​ရှင်​စေ​တော်​မူ​သ​ဖြင့် ဉာဏ်​ရှိ၏။ 9 လူ​ကြီး​တို့​သည် အ​စဉ်​ပ​ညာ​ရှိ​သည်​မ​ဟုတ်။ အ​သက်​ကြီး​သော သူ​အ​ပေါင်း​တို့​သည် မှန်​သော​တ​ရား​ကို နား​လည်​သည်​မ​ဟုတ်။ 10 သို့​ဖြစ်၍ ငါ့​စ​ကား​ကို နား​ထောင်​ကြ​လော့။ ငါ​သည် ကိုယ်​သ​ဘော​ကို ပြ​ပါ​မည်။

11 သင်​တို့​စ​ကား​ကို ကြား​ရ​အံ့​သော​ငှာ ငါ​ဆိုင်း​လင့်​ပြီ။ သင်​တို့​သည် ပြော​စ​ရာ​ကို​ရှာ​ဖွေ၍ ဆွေး​နွေး​သော​စ​ကား​ကို ငါ​နား​ထောင်​ပြီ။ 12 စေ့​စေ့​နား​ထောင်​စဉ်​တွင်၊ ယော​ဘ​ကို အ​ဘယ်​သူ​မျှ​မ​နိုင်။ သူ၏​စ​ကား​ကို အ​ဘယ်​သူ​မျှ​မ​ချေ။ 13 သို့​ဖြစ်၍ ငါ​တို့​သည် ပ​ညာ​ကို​ရှာ၍​တွေ့​ပြီ​ဟု သင်​တို့​ဆို​စ​ရာ​မ​ရှိ။ ယော​ဘ​ကို နှိမ့်​ချ​သော​သူ​ကား လူ​မ​ဟုတ်၊ ဘု​ရား​သ​ခင်​ပေ​တည်း။ 14 ယော​ဘ​သည် ငါ့​ကို​ရည်​ဆောင်၍ ပြော​ပြီ​မ​ဟုတ်။ သင်​တို့​ပြန်​ပြော​သည်​အ​တိုင်း ငါ​ပြန်​ပြော​မည် မ​ဟုတ်။ 15 ဤ​သူ​တို့​သည် မိန်း​မော​တွေ​ဝေ​လျက်​ပြန်၍ မ​ပြော​ဘဲ တိတ်​ဆိတ်​စွာ နေ​ကြ၏။ 16 ငါ​ဆိုင်း​လင့်​သည်​တွင် သူ​တို့​သည် နှုတ်​မ​မြွက်၊ ပြန်၍​မ​ပြော​ဘဲ ငြိမ်​ငြိမ်​နေ​ကြ၏။ 17 သို့​ဖြစ်၍ ငါ​သည်​ကိုယ်​အ​တွက် ပြန်​ပြော​မည်။ ကိုယ်​သ​ဘော​ကို ပြ​မည်။ 18 ငါ​သည် ပြော​စ​ရာ​စ​ကား​နှင့် ပြည့်​ဝ၏။ အ​တွင်း​ဝိ​ညာဉ်​နှိုး​ဆော်​ခြင်း​ကို ခံ​ရ၏။ 19 ငါ့​ဝမ်း​သည် ပိတ်​ဆို့​သော​စ​ပျစ်​ရည်​နှင့် တူ၏။ အ​သစ်​သော​သား​ရေ​ဘူး ကွဲ​လု​သ​ကဲ့​သို့ ဖြစ်၏။ 20 ငါ​သည် သက်​သာ​ခြင်း​ငှာ မြွက်​ဆို​ရ​မည်။ နှုတ်​ကို​ဖွင့်၍ ပြန်​ပြော​ရ​မည်။ 21 အ​ဘယ်​သူ၏​မျက်​နှာ​ကို​မျှ မ​ထောက်၊ အ​ဘယ်​သူ​ကို​မျှ ချီး​မွမ်း​သော​စ​ကား​နှင့် မ​ချော့​မော့။ 22 သူ​တစ်​ပါး​ကို ချီး​မွမ်း​သော​စ​ကား​နှင့် မ​ချော့​မော့​တတ်။ ထို​သို့​ပြု​လျှင်၊ ငါ့​ကို​ဖန်​ဆင်း​တော်​မူ​သော ဘု​ရား​သည် ငါ့​ကို ချက်​ချင်း​ပယ်​ရှား​တော်​မူ​မည်။

1 So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes. 2 Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God. 3 Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job. 4 Now Elihu had waited to speak unto Job, because they were elder than he. 5 And when Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, his wrath was kindled.

6 And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said,

I am young, and ye are very old;

Wherefore I held back, and durst not show you mine opinion.

7 I said, Days should speak,

And multitude of years should teach wisdom.

8 But there is a spirit in man,

And the breath of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

9 It is not the great that are wise,

Nor the aged that understand justice.

10 Therefore I said, Hearken to me;

I also will show mine opinion.

11 Behold, I waited for your words,

I listened for your reasonings,

Whilst ye searched out what to say.

12 Yea, I attended unto you,

And, behold, there was none that convinced Job,

Or that answered his words, among you.

13 Beware lest ye say, We have found wisdom;

God may vanquish him, not man:

14 For he hath not directed his words against me;

Neither will I answer him with your speeches.

15 They are amazed, they answer no more:

They have not a word to say.

16 And shall I wait, because they speak not,

Because they stand still, and answer no more?

17 I also will answer my part,

I also will show mine opinion.

18 For I am full of words;

The spirit within me constraineth me.

19 Behold, my breast is as wine which hath no vent;

Like new wine-skins it is ready to burst.

20 I will speak, that I may be refreshed;

I will open my lips and answer.

21 Let me not, I pray you, respect any man’s person;

Neither will I give flattering titles unto any man.

22 For I know not to give flattering titles;

Else would my Maker soon take me away.
