48 And so will I lift up my hands unto thy commandments, which I love, and I will meditate on thy statutes.49 ZAYIN. Remember thy word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to wait.50 This is my comfort in my affliction, that thy promise hath revived me.51 The presumptuous have held me too greatly in derision: yet have I not departed away from thy law.52 I remembered thy decrees which were from olden times, O Lord, and thus comforted myself.
