Salmos 52

To the chief musician, a Maskil of David, When Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul, and said unto him, David is come to the house of Achimelech. What vauntest thou thyself of wickedness, O mighty man? the kindness of God endureth all the time.

Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs, like a sharpened razor, thou worker of deceit.

Thou lovest evil more than good; falsehood more than speaking righteousness. Selah.

Thou lovest all words of destruction, the tongue of deceit.

Therefore God will also destroy thee for ever: he will take thee away, and pluck thee out of his tent, and root thee out of the land of life. Selah.––

And the righteous shall see it, and they will be afraid, and laugh concerning him:

"Lo, this is the man that made not God his fortress; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, relied proudly on his mischievous wickedness."

But I am like a green olive–tree in the house of God: I trust in the kindness of God for ever and ever.

I will thank thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name, for it is good, before thy pious ones.
