1 Depois o anjo que falava comigo tornou a despertar-me, como se desperta alguém do sono,2 e me perguntou: "O que você está vendo? " Respondi: "Vejo um candelabro de ouro maciço com um recipiente para azeite na parte superior e sete lâmpadas e sete canos para as lâmpadas.3 Há também duas oliveiras junto ao recipiente, uma à direita e outra à esquerda".4 Perguntei ao anjo que falava comigo: "O que significa isto, meu senhor? "5 Ele disse: "Você não sabe? " "Não, meu senhor", respondi.6 "Esta é a palavra do Senhor para Zorobabel: ‘Não por força nem por violência, mas pelo meu Espírito’, diz o Senhor dos Exércitos.7 "Quem você pensa que é, ó montanha majestosa? Diante de Zorobabel você se tornará uma planície. Ele colocará a pedra principal aos gritos de ‘Deus abençoe! Deus abençoe! ’ "8 Então o Senhor me falou:9 "As mãos de Zorobabel colocacaram os fundamentos deste templo; suas mãos também o terminarão. Assim saberão que o Senhor dos Exércitos me enviou a vocês.10 "Pois aqueles que desprezaram o dia das pequenas coisas terão grande alegria ao verem a pedra principal nas mãos de Zorobabel". " "Não, meu senhor", respondi.14 Então ele me disse: "São os dois homens que foram ungidos para servir ao Soberano de toda a terra! "

1 And the angel that talked with me came again, and woke me, as a man who is awakened out of his sleep.2 And he said to me, What do you see? And I said, I have seen, and, look, a lampstand all of gold, with its bowl on the top of it, and its seven lamps on it; there are seven pipes to each of the lamps, which are on the top of it;3 and two olive-trees by it, one on the right side of the bowl, and the other on the left side of it.4 And I answered and spoke to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?5 Then the angel that talked with me answered and said to me, Don't you know what these are? And I said, No, my lord.6 Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, This is the word of Yahweh to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says Yahweh of hosts.7 Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel [you will become] a plain; and he will bring forth the top stone with shoutings of Grace, grace, to it.8 Moreover the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,9 The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands will also finish it; and you will know that Yahweh of hosts has sent me to you{+}.10 For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven will rejoice, and will see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel; [these are] the eyes of Yahweh, which run to and fro through the whole earth.11 Then I answered, and said to him, What are these two olive-trees on the right side of the lampstand and on the left side of it?12 And I answered the second time, and said to him, What are these two olive-branches, which are beside the two golden spouts, that empty the gold out of themselves?13 And he answered me and said, Don't you know what these are? And I said, No, my lord.14 Then he said, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
