And he is an atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but for those of the whole world.
for there was born for you to-day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ and Lord.

I have been crucified with Christ. I am living, yet no longer I, but Christ is living in me. The life that I am now living in flesh I am living by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
For this reason he is the mediator of a better covenant that, a death having taken place for redemption from sins under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the eternal inheritance promised to them.
in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our sins, according to the wealth of his loving kindness
