5 *3 Mos 7:11f. När ni vill offra gemenskapsoffer åt Herren, ska ni offra det på sådant sätt att ni räknas som välbehagliga. 6 Det ska ätas samma dag som ni offrar det eller nästa dag. Det som blir över till tredje dagen ska brännas upp i eld. 7 Om det äts på tredje dagen, är det avskyvärt och blir inte mottaget. 8 Den som äter av det måste bära sin skuld, för han har ohelgat det som var helgat åt Herren. Han ska utrotas ur sitt folk.

9 *3 Mos 23:22, 5 Mos 24:19f, Rut 2:2f. När ni bärgar skörden i ert land, ska du inte skörda till den yttersta kanten av åkern och inte plocka upp ströaxen efter din skörd. 10 Inte heller i din vingård ska du göra någon efterskörd, och de druvor som fallit av i din vingård ska du inte plocka upp. Du ska lämna kvar det åt den fattige och åt främlingen. Jag är Herren er Gud.

11 *2 Mos 20:15f, Ef 4:25, 28, Kol 3:9, 1 Tess 4:6. Ni ska inte stjäla eller ljuga eller bedra varandra.

12 *2 Mos 20:7, 5 Mos 5:11, Matt 5:33f, Jak 5:12. Ni ska inte svära falskt vid mitt namn. Då ohelgar du din Guds namn. Jag är Herren.

13 *2 Mos 22:7f, 5 Mos 24:14f, Jak 5:4. Du ska inte förtrycka din nästa eller plundra honom. Du ska inte undanhålla daglönaren hans lön över natten till morgonen.

14 *5 Mos 27:18. Du ska inte uttala förbannelser över en döv eller lägga något framför en blind som han kan snava över. Du ska frukta din Gud. Jag är Herren.

15 *2 Mos 23:3, 5 Mos 1:17, 16:19, Ords 24:23f, Jak 2:9. Du ska inte göra orätt när du dömer. Du ska inte hålla med någon för att han är fattig och du ska inte vara partisk för den som har makt. Du ska döma din nästa med rättvisa.

16 *Ps 15:3, 50:20f, Jer 9:4f, Hes 22:9, Jak 4:11. Du ska inte gå med förtal bland ditt folk. Du ska inte stå efter din nästas blod. Jag är Herren.

19 *5 Mos 22:9f. Mina stadgar ska ni hålla: Du ska inte låta två slags djur av din boskap para sig med varandra. Du ska inte så två slags säd i din åker och inte ta på dig klädesplagg av två olika slags garn*19:19klädesplagg av två olika slags garnDödahavsrullarna framhåller att blandningen av ull och lin (5 Mos 22:11) var reserverad för översteprästens dräkt och tabernaklet (2 Mos 26:1, 28:8)..

20 Om en man har legat med en kvinna som är en annan mans slavinna och sädesuttömning har skett, och hon inte har blivit friköpt eller frigiven, ska de straffas men inte dödas eftersom hon inte var fri. 21 Han ska föra fram sitt skuldoffer, en skuldofferbagge, inför Herren, till uppenbarelsetältets ingång. 22 När prästen med skuldofferbaggen bringar försoning för honom inför Herrens ansikte, får han förlåtelse för den synd han har begått.

23 När ni kommer in i landet och planterar olika slags träd med ätbar frukt*19:23träd med ätbar fruktFruktträd respekterades som en Guds gåva (1 Mos 1:29, 5 Mos 20:19)., ska ni se deras frukt som deras förhud. I tre år ska ni betrakta dem som oomskurna och inte äta deras frukt. 24 Under det fjärde året ska all deras frukt vara helig som ett tackoffer*19:24tackofferKanske för att ätas med tacksägelse vid templet (jfr 5 Mos 14:23, 15:20). till Herren, 25 och först under det femte året ska ni äta deras frukt. Så ska ni göra för att de ska ge så mycket större avkastning åt er. Jag är Herren er Gud.

26 *3 Mos 3:17, 17:10f, 5 Mos 12:16, 23f, 15:23, Apg 15:20. Ni ska inte äta något som innehåller blod.

Ni ska inte befatta er med spådom eller trolldom. 27 *3 Mos 21:5. Ni ska inte rundklippa kanten av ert hår*19:27hårTecken på livskraft och ära (2 Sam 10:4, 1 Kor 11:15). Hår offrades av kananeer åt de döda (5 Mos 14:1)., och inte heller ska du stympa kanten av ditt skägg.

28 *5 Mos 14:1. Ni ska inte rista märken*19:28rista märkenSorgerit som förknippades med avgudakulter (jfr 1 Kung 18:28). på er kropp för någon död och inte heller bränna in skrivtecken på er. Jag är Herren.

29 Vanära inte din dotter genom att låta henne bli prostituerad*19:29prostitueradTroligen delaktig i kananeiska fruktbarhetsriter (jfr Jer 2:20f, Hos 2)., så att landet blir fördärvat av otukt och uppfyllt av skamligheter.

30 Mina sabbater ska ni hålla, och för min helgedom ska ni visa vördnad. Jag är Herren.

31 *3 Mos 20:6, 27, 5 Mos 18:11, 1 Sam 28:7, Jes 8:19. Vänd er inte till andebesvärjare eller till spåmän. Sök inte sådana så att ni blir orena genom dem. Jag är Herren er Gud.

32 För ett grått huvud ska du resa dig upp, och den gamle ska du ära. Du ska frukta din Gud. Jag är Herren.

33 *2 Mos 22:21, 23:9. När en främling bor hos er i ert land, ska ni inte förtrycka honom. 34 Främlingen som bor ibland er ska räknas som infödd hos er. Du ska älska honom som dig själv. Ni har ju själva varit främlingar i Egyptens land. Jag är Herren er Gud.

37 Så ska ni nu hålla alla mina stadgar och alla mina lagar och följa dem. Jag är Herren.

9 And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest. 10 And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.

11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.

12 And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD.

13 Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.

14 Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I am the LORD.

15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

16 Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the LORD.

17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.*19.17 and…: or, that thou bear not sin for him

18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

19 Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

26 Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times. 27 Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard. 28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

29 Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.*19.29 prostitute: Heb. profane

30 Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.

32 Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD.

33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.*19.33 vex: or, oppress 34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

35 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure. 36 Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.*19.36 weights: Heb. stones 37 Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD.
