1 Então se levantou o sumo sacerdote Eliasibe, juntamente com os sacerdotes, seus irmãos, e reedificaram a entrada das ovelhas. Consagraram-na e assentaram as suas duas portas; sim consagraram-na até a torre de Hameá, até a torre de Hananel.2 Junto a ele edificaram os homens de Jericó, ao lado dos quais edificou Zacur, filho de Inri.3 Os filhos de Hassenaá edificaram a entrada dos peixes; puseram-lhe as vigas, e assentaram as suas duas portas, os seus ferrolhos e as suas trancas.4 Junto a ele fez os reparos Meremote, filho de Urias, filho de Hacoz; junto a eles Mesulão, filho de Berequias, filho de Mesezabel; junto a eles Zadoque, filho de Baana;5 junto a eles os tecoítas; mas os seus nobres não se submeteram ao serviço do seu senhor.6 Joiada, filho de Paséia, e Mesulão, filho de Besodias, repararam a entrada velha; puseram-lhe as vigas, e assentaram as suas duas portas, os seus ferrolhos e as suas trancas.7 Junto a eles fizeram os reparos Melatias, gibeonita, e Jadom, meronotita, homens de Gibeom, e de Mispa, que pertenciam ao trono do governador além do Rio;8 junto a ele Uziel, filho de Haraías, ourives; junto a ele Hananias, um dos perfumistas, e deixaram a Jerusalém até o muro largo.9 Junto a eles fez os reparos Refaías, filho de Hur, regente da metade do distrito de Jerusalém;10 junto a eles Jedaías, filho de Harumafe, defronte da sua casa; junto a ele Hatus, filho de Hasabnéias.11 Malquias, filho de Harim, e Hasube, filho de Paate-Moabe, repararam outra parte, e a torre dos fornos.12 Junto a ele fez os reparos Salum, filho de Haloés, regente da metade do distrito de Jerusalém, ele e suas filhas.13 A entrada do vale, repararam-na Hanum, e os habitantes de Zanoa; edificaram-na e assentaram as suas duas portas, os seus ferrolhos e as suas trancas, como também mil cúbitos do muro até a entrada do esterco.14 A entrada do esterco, reparou-a Malquias, filho de Recabe, regente de distrito de Bete-Querém; edificou-a, e assentou as suas portas, os seus ferrolhos e as suas trancas.15 A entrada da fonte, reparou-a Salum, filho de Col-Hosé, regente do distrito de Mispa; edificou-a, e a cobriu, e assentou as suas duas portas, os seus ferrolhos e as suas trancas; reparou também o muro da piscina de Siloé junto ao jardim do rei até os degraus que descem da cidade de Davi.16 Em seguida a ele fez os reparos Neemias, filho de Azbuque, regente da metade do distrito de Bete-Zur, até defronte dos sepulcros de Davi, e até a piscina que havia sido feita, e até a casa dos homens poderosos.17 Em seguida a ele fizeram os reparos os levitas, Reum, filho de Bani; junto ao qual fez os reparos por seu distrito Hasabias, regente da metade do distrito de Queila.18 Em seguida a ele seus irmãos Bavai, filho de Henadade, regente da metade do distrito de Queila.19 Junto a ele reparou Ezer, filho de Jesua, regente de Mispa, outra parte defronte da subida à casa das armas, no ângulo do muro.20 Em seguida a ele Baruque, filho de Zabai, reparou diligentemente outra parte, desde o ângulo do muro até a casa do sumo sacerdote Eliasibe.21 Em seguida a ele reparou Meremote, filho de Urias, filho de Cós, outra parte desde a porta da casa de Eliasibe até a extremidade da casa de Eliasibe.22 Em seguida a ele fizeram os reparos os sacerdotes, que habitavam em Quicar.23 Em seguida a eles Benjamim e Hasube defronte da sua casa; e em seguida a eles Azarias, filho de Maaséias, filho de Ananias, junto à sua casa.24 Em seguida a ele reparou Binui, filho de Henadade, outra parte desde a casa de Azarias até o ângulo do muro e até a esquina.25 Palal, filho de Uzai, reparou defronte do ângulo do muro e da torre que se projeta da casa superior do rei, a qual está junto ao átrio da guarda. Em seguida a ele fez os reparos Pedaías, filho de Parós.26 (Ora os Netinins habitavam em Ofel até defronte da entrada das águas para o oriente, e até a torre que se projeta).27 Em seguida a ele repararam os tecoítas outra parte, defronte da grande torre que se projeta, e até o muro de Ofel.28 Para cima da entrada dos cavalos fizeram os reparos os sacerdotes, cada um defronte da sua casa;29 em seguida a eles Zadoque, filho de Imer, defronte da sua casa; e em seguida a ele Semaías, filho de Secanias, guarda da porta oriental.30 Em seguida a ele repararam outra parte Hananias, filho de Selemias, e Hanum, sexto filho de Zalafe. Em seguida a ele fez os reparos Mesulão, filho de Berequias, defronte da sua câmara;31 em seguida a ele Malquias, um dos ourives, até a casa dos Netinins e dos negociantes, defronte da porta de Hamifecade, e até a câmara da esquina;32 e entre a câmara da esquina e a entrada das ovelhas, os ourives e os negociantes.

1 Then Eliasib the high priest arose, and his brethren the priests, and they built the flock gate: they sanctified it, and set up the doors thereof, even unto the tower of a hundred cubits they sanctified it unto the tower of Hananeel.2 And next to him the men of Jericho built: and next to them built Zachur the son of Amri.3 But the fish gate the sons of Asnaa built: they covered it, and set up the doors thereof, and tire locks, and the bars. And next to them built Marimuth the son of Urias the son of Accus.4 And next to him built Mosollam tile son of Barachias, the sell of Merezebel, and next to them built Sadoc the son of Baana.5 And next to them the Thecuites built: but their great men did not put their necks to the work of their Lord.6 And Joiada the son of Phasea, and Mosollam the son of Besodia built the old gate: they covered it and set up the doors thereof, and the locks, and the bars.7 And next to them built Meltias the Gabaonite, and Jadon the Meronathite, the men of Gabaon and Maspha, for the governor that was in the country beyond the river.8 And next to him built Eziel the son of Araia the goldsmith: and next to him built Ananias the son of the perfumer: and they left Jerusalem unto the wall of the broad street.9 And next to him built Raphaia the son of Hur, lord of the street of Jerusalem.10 And next to him Jedaia the son of Haromaph over against his own house: and next to him built Hattus the son of Hasebonia.11 ,11Melchias the son of Herem, and Ha- sub the son of Phahath Moab, built half the street, and the tower of the furnaces.12 And next to him built Sellum the son of Alohes, lord of half the street of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.13 And the gate of the valley Hanun built, and the inhabitants of Zanoe: they built it, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks, and the bars, and a thousand cubits in the wall unto the gate of the dunghill.14 And the gate of the dunghill Melchias the son of Rechab built, lord of the street of Bethacharam : he built it, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks, and the bars.15 And the gate of the fountain Sellum the son of Cholhoza built, lord of the street of Maspha: he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks, and the bare, and the walls of the pool of Siloe unto the king's guard, and unto the steps that go down from the city of David.16 After him built Nehemias the son of Azboc, lord of half the street of Bethsur, as far as over against the sepulchre of David, and to the pool, that was built with great labour, and to the house of the mighty.17 After him built the Levites, Rehum the son of Benni. After him built Hasebias, lord of half the street of Ceila in his own street.18 After him built their brethren Bavai the son of Enadad, lord of half Ceila.19 And next to him Aser the son of Josue, lord of Maspha, built another measure, over against the going up of the strong corner.20 After him in the mount Baruch the son of Zachai built another measure, from the corner to the door of the house of Eliasib the high priest.21 After him Merimuth the son of Urias the son of Haccus, built another measure, from the door of the house of Eliasib, to the end of the house of Eliasib.22 And after him built the priests, the men of the plains of the Jordan.23 After him built Benjamin and Hasub, over against their own house : and after him built Azarias the son of Maasias the son of Ananias over against his house.24 After him built Bennui the son of Hanadad another measure, from the house of Azarias unto the bending, and unto the corner.25 Phalel, the son of Ozi, over against the bending and the tower, which lieth out from the king's high house, that is, in the court of the prison: after him Phadaia the son of Pharos.26 And the Nathinites dwelt in Ophel, as far as over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that stood out.27 After him the Thecuites built another measure over against, from the great tower that standeth out unto the wall of the temple.28 And upward from the horse gate the priests built, every man over against his house.29 After them built Sadoc the son of Emmer over against his house. And after him built Semaia the son of Sechenias, keeper of the east gate.30 After him built Hanania the son of Selemia, and Hanun the sixth son of Seleph, another measure: after him built Mosollam the son of Barachias over against his treasury. After him Melcias the goldsmith's son built unto the house of the Nathinites, and of the sellers of small wares, over against the judgment gate, and unto the chamber of the corner.31 And within the chamber of the corner of the dock gate, the goldsmiths and the merchants built.
