Visão da ruína do altar: promessa de restauração

1 Vi estar Jeová junto ao *Am 3.14altar. Ele disse: Fere *Sf 2.14os capitéis, para que estremeçam os umbrais; faze-os em pedaços sobre as cabeças de todos eles; *Am 9.4;Am 7.17matarei à espada até o último deles; *Jr 11.11nenhum deles fugirá e nenhum deles escapará. 2 Embora cavem até *Sl 139.8o Sheol, dali os tirará a minha mão; embora *Jr 51.53;Ob 4subam até o céu, dali os farei descer. 3 Embora se escondam no *Am 1.2cume do Carmelo, *Jr 16.16buscá-los-ei e dali os tirarei; embora estejam *Jó 34.22;Sl 139.9-12;Jr 16.16-17escondidos dos meus olhos no fundo do mar, dali darei ordem *Is 27.1à serpente, e ela os morderá. 4 Embora vão para *Lv 26.33o cativeiro diante dos seus inimigos, dali darei ordem *Am 9.1à espada, e ela os matará; *Jr 21.10;39.16;44.11porei os meus olhos sobre eles para o mal e não para o bem.

5 Pois o Senhor Jeová dos Exércitos é o que *Sl 104.32;144.5;Is 64.1toca a terra, e ela se derrete, e *Am 8.8prantearão todos os que nela habitam; toda ela se levantará como o rio e se diminuirá como o rio do Egito. 6 É ele o que edifica *Sl 104.3,13as suas câmaras nos céus e fundou sobre a terra a sua abóbada; o que *Am 5.8chama as águas do mar *Sl 104.6e as derrama sobre a face da terra; Jeová é o seu nome.

7 Acaso, não sois vós, filhos de Israel, para comigo como os filhos dos *2Cr 14.9,12;Is 20.4;43.3etíopes? — diz Jeová. Não fiz eu a Israel sair da terra do *Am 2.10;3.1Egito, e aos filisteus, de *Dt 2.23;Jr 47.4Caftor, e aos siros, de *Am 1.5;2Rs 16.9;Is 22.6Quir? 8 Eis que *Am 9.4;Jr 44.27os olhos do Senhor Jeová estão sobre o reino pecaminoso, e eu *Am 9.10;Am 3.12;7.17o exterminarei de sobre a face da terra; exceto que não *Jr 5.10;30.11;31.35-36;Jl 2.32destruirei de todo a casa de Jacó, diz Jeová. 9 Pois eis que eu darei ordens *Is 30.28;Lc 22.31e sacudirei a casa de Israel entre todas as nações, assim como se sacode o trigo no crivo; contudo, não cairá sobre a terra um só grão. 10 *Am 8.14Morrerão à espada *Is 33.14;Zc 13.8-9todos os pecadores do meu povo, os quais *Am 6.3;Jr 5.12dizem: O mal não nos alcançará, nem virá sobre nós.

11 Naquele dia, *At 15.16-18levantarei *Is 16.5o tabernáculo de Davi, que caiu, e repararei as suas *Sl 80.12brechas, e levantarei as suas ruínas, e o reedificarei como *Is 63.11;Jr 46.26nos dias antigos, 12 para que possuam o resto de *Is 11.14Edom e todas as nações que são *Is 43.7chamadas do meu nome, diz Jeová, que faz isso. 13 Eis que vêm dias, diz Jeová, em que o *Lv 26.5que lavra alcançará o que ceifa, e o que pisa as uvas, o que semeia a semente; os *Jl 3.18montes destilarão *Gn 49.11vinho doce, e todos os outeiros se derreterão. 14 *Sl 53.6;Is 60.4;Jr 30.18Tornarei a trazer o cativeiro do meu povo de Israel; *Is 61.4;65.21reedificarão as cidades assoladas e as habitarão; *Am 5.11;Is 62.8-9;Jr 31.5;Ez 28.26plantarão vinhas e lhes beberão o vinho; também farão jardins e lhes comerão o fruto. 15 *Jr 24.6;31.28Plantá-los-ei na sua terra, *Is 60.21;Ez 37.25e não serão mais arrancados da sua terra que lhes dei, diz Jeová, teu Deus.

1 I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered.*9.1 lintel: or, chapiter, or, knop*9.1 cut…: or, wound them 2 Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down: 3 And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them: 4 And though they go into captivity before their enemies, thence will I command the sword, and it shall slay them: and I will set mine eyes upon them for evil, and not for good. 5 And the Lord GOD of hosts is he that toucheth the land, and it shall melt, and all that dwell therein shall mourn: and it shall rise up wholly like a flood; and shall be drowned, as by the flood of Egypt. 6 It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name.*9.6 stories: or, spheres: Heb. ascensions*9.6 troop: or, bundle 7 Are ye not as children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith the LORD. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt? and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir? 8 Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD. 9 For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.*9.9 sift: Heb. cause to move*9.9 grain: Heb. stone 10 All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.

11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:*9.11 close: Heb. hedge, or, wall 12 That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this.*9.12 which…: Heb. upon whom my name is called 13 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.*9.13 soweth: Heb. draweth forth*9.13 sweet: or, new 14 And I will bring again the captivity of my people of Israel, and they shall build the waste cities, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and drink the wine thereof; they shall also make gardens, and eat the fruit of them. 15 And I will plant them upon their land, and they shall no more be pulled up out of their land which I have given them, saith the LORD thy God.
