Apocalipse 11

As duas testemunhas

1 Deu-se-me *Ap 21.15s.; Ez 40.3—42.20; cp.Zc 2.1uma cana semelhante a uma vara, *cp.Ap 10.11e foi-me dito: Levanta-te e mede o santuário de Deus, e o altar, e os que nele adoram. 2 Mas o *Ez 40.17,20átrio que está fora do santuário, deixa-o e não o meças, porque *Lc 21.24foi dado aos gentios. Eles hão de *Lc 21.24pisar debaixo dos pés *Is 52.1;Mt 27.53; vd.4.5; cp.Ap 21.2,10;22.19a Cidade Santa por *Ap 12.6;13.5; cp.Dn 7.25;12.7quarenta e dois meses. 3 Darei às minhas duas *Ap 2.13; cp.1.5testemunhas que, vestidas de *Gn 37.34;2Sm 3.31;1Rs 21.27;2Rs 19.1s.;Ne 9.1;Et 4.1;Sl 69.11;Jl 1.13;Jn 3.5-6,8saco, profetizem durante mil e duzentos e sessenta dias. 4 Estes são *Zc 4.3,11,14; cp.Sl 52.8;Jr 11.16as duas oliveiras e os dois candeeiros postos diante do Senhor da terra. 5 Se alguém lhes quiser fazer dano, *cp.Ap 9.17s.;2Rs 1.10-12;Jr 5.14da sua boca sairá fogo e devorará os seus inimigos; e, se alguém lhes quiser fazer dano, é *cp.Nm 16.29,35assim que ele deve ser morto. 6 Estes têm o poder de *Lc 4.25fechar o céu, para que não caia chuva durante *Ap 11.3os dias da sua profecia; e têm poder de *Ap 8.8converter as águas em sangue e de ferir a terra com toda sorte de pragas todas as vezes que o quiserem. 7 Quando tiverem acabado o seu testemunho, *Ap 13.1ss.a besta *cp.Ap 13.1que sobe do *Ap 9.1abismo lhes *Ap 13.7; cp.Dn 7.21fará guerra, os vencerá e os matará. 8 Os seus cadáveres jazerão nas ruas da *cp.Ap 14.8;16.19;17.18;18.2,10,16,18-19,21grande cidade, a qual, espiritualmente, se chama *Is 1.9-10;3.9;Jr 23.14;Ez 16.46,49Sodoma e *Ez 23.3,8,19,27Egito, onde também o seu Senhor foi crucificado. 9 Dentre os *Ap 10.11;Ap 5.9povos, e tribos, e línguas, e nações, muitos verão os cadáveres durante três dias e meio e *Sl 79.2s.; cp.1Rs 13.22não permitirão que os seus cadáveres sejam dados à sepultura. 10 *Ap 3.10Os habitantes da terra se alegrarão sobre eles, e se regalarão, e *Ne 8.10,12;Et 9.19,22enviarão presentes uns aos outros, porque esses dois profetas atormentaram aos que habitavam sobre a terra. 11 Passados os três dias e meio, *Ez 37.5,9,10,14o espírito de vida, vindo de Deus, entrou neles, e sobre os seus pés se levantaram; e grande temor caiu sobre os que os viram. 12 Do céu ouviram uma grande voz, dizendo-lhes: *Ap 4.1Subi para cá. *cp.2Rs 2.11;At 1.9Subiram ao céu em uma nuvem; e os viram os inimigos deles. 13 Naquela hora, houve um grande *Ap 6.12;8.5;16.18;Ap 11.19terremoto; caiu a décima parte da cidade, e sete mil homens pereceram no terremoto; os mais ficaram aterrorizados e *Ap 14.7;16.9;19.7;Jo 9.24deram glória ao *Ap 16.11Deus do céu.

O segundo ai

14 O segundo *Ap 9.12;Ap 8.13ai já passou; eis que cedo vem o terceiro.

A sétima trombeta

15 O *cp.Ap 10.7;Ap 8.2sétimo anjo tocou a trombeta. Houve *Ap 16.17;19.1grandes vozes no céu, dizendo:

*cp.Ap 12.10O reino do mundo passou a ser de nosso Senhor e de *At 4.26;Sl 2.2seu Cristo; *Dn 2.44;7.14,27;Lc 1.33ele reinará pelos séculos dos séculos.

16 Os vinte e quatro anciãos, que *Ap 4.4; cp.Mt 19.28estão sentados, diante de Deus, sobre os seus tronos, *Ap 4.10prostraram-se os seus rostos e adoraram a Deus, 17 dizendo:

Graças te damos, *Ap 1.8Senhor Deus, Todo-Poderoso, que és e que eras; porque tens tomado o teu grande poder e entraste no teu *cp.Ap 19.6reino.

18 *Sl 2.1As nações encheram-se de ira, mas veio a tua ira *Ap 20.12; cp.Dn 7.10e o tempo de serem julgados os mortos, e de dar a recompensa aos teus *Ap 10.7; cp.16.6servos, os profetas, e aos santos e aos que temem ao teu nome, *Ap 13.16;19.5;Sl 115.13aos pequenos e aos grandes, e de destruir os destruidores da terra.

19 *Ap 15.5; cp.4.1Abriu-se o santuário de Deus, que está no céu, e no seu santuário foi vista *Hb 9.4a arca da sua Aliança. Houve *Ap 4.5relâmpagos, e vozes, e trovões, e terremoto, e *Ap 16.21tempestade de saraiva.

1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. 3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. 7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. 8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. 10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. 11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. 13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. 14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. 15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. 16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, 17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. 18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. 19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
