Isaías 61

A salvação é proclamada

4 *Is 49.8;58.12;Ez 36.33;Am 9.14Edificarão as antigas ruínas, levantarão as desolações de seus antepassados e repararão as cidades assoladas, as desolações de muitas gerações. 5 *Is 14.2;60.10Estranhos apresentar-se-ão e apascentarão os vossos rebanhos, e estrangeiros serão os vossos lavradores e os vossos vinheiros. 6 Vós, porém, sereis chamados *Is 66.21sacerdotes de Jeová; chamar-vos-ão *Is 56.6ministros do vosso Deus; comereis *Is 60.5,11as riquezas das nações e da glória deles vos ufanareis. 7 Em lugar da vossa *Is 54.4vergonha, haveis de *Is 40.2;Zc 9.12ter uma porção dobrada; e, em lugar de *Is 60.15confusão, vos exultareis na vossa porção; por isso, na vossa terra, possuireis o dobro; tereis *Sl 16.11uma alegria sempiterna. 8 Pois eu, Jeová, *Is 5.16;28.17;30.18amo o juízo, aborreço aquilo que é injustamente arrebatado; dar-lhes-ei fielmente sua recompensa e, com eles, farei uma *Is 55.3;Gn 17.7;Sl 105.10;Jr 32.40aliança perpétua. 9 A sua *Is 54.3posteridade será conhecida entre as nações, e os seus descendentes, entre os povos; todos os que os virem os reconhecerão que são a *Is 44.3semente que Jeová abençoou.

10 Grandemente me *Is 12.1-2;25.9;41.16;51.3regozijarei em Jeová, e a minha alma se alegrará no *Is 49.4meu Deus, porque me *Is 49.18;52.1vestiu dos vestidos de salvação, me cobriu do manto de justiça, como um noivo se adorna com uma grinalda e como a noiva se enfeita com as suas joias. 11 Pois, como *Is 4.2;55.10;58.11a terra produz os seus renovos e como o jardim faz brotar o que nele se semeia; assim o Senhor Jeová *Is 45.23-24;60.18,21fará brotar a *Sl 72.3;85.11justiça e o louvor diante de todas as nações.

1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. 5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. 6 But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.

7 For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them. 8 For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. 9 And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.

10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.*61.10 decketh: Heb. decketh as a priest 11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
