Vários provérbios antitéticos

1 Os perversos *Lv 26.17,36;Sl 53.5fogem, sem que ninguém os persiga;

mas os justos são ousados como o leão.

2 Pela transgressão da terra *1Rs 16.8-28;2Rs 15.8-15muitos são os príncipes;

mas, por *Pv 11.11homens prudentes e entendidos, será prolongada a sua existência.

3 *Mt 18.28O homem pobre que oprime os pobres

é como uma chuva impetuosa que não deixa pão.

4 Os que deixam a lei *Sl 49.18;Rm 1.32louvam aos perversos;

os que, porém, guardam a lei *1Rs 18.18;Ne 13.11,15;Mt 3.7;14.4;Ef 5.11pelejam contra eles.

5 Os homens maus *Sl 92.6;Is 6.9;44.18não entendem o que é justo,

mas, quando eles perecem, multiplicam-se os justos.
