1 Quanto à coleta para os santos, fazei vós também o mesmo que ordenei às igrejas da Galácia.2 Ao primeiro dia da semana cada um de vós ponha em sua casa, entesourando, qualquer soma conforme tiver prosperado, para que se não façam coletas quando eu for.3 Quando eu chegar, enviarei com cartas os que aprovardes, para levarem a Jerusalém o vosso auxílio;4 se merecer que eu também vá, irão comigo.5 Mas irei ter convosco, quando tiver passado pela Macedônia; porque passarei pela Macedônia,6 e talvez ficarei convosco, ou mesmo passarei o inverno, a fim de que me encaminheis, para onde quer que eu vá.7 Pois desta vez não vos quero ver somente de passagem; porque espero demorar-me convosco algum tempo, se o Senhor o permitir.8 Ficarei, porém, em Éfeso até o Pentecostes;9 porque se me abriu uma porta grande e eficaz, e há muitos adversários.10 Se Timóteo for, vede que esteja sem temor entre vós, porque trabalha na obra do Senhor, como eu também;11 portanto ninguém o despreze. Mas encaminhai-o em paz, para que venha ter comigo; pois o espero com os irmãos.12 Quanto ao irmão Apolo, muito lhe roguei que fosse com os irmãos ter convosco; mas de modo algum era da vontade dele ir agora, contudo irá, quando tiver oportunidade.13 Vigiai, estai firmes na fé, portai-vos varonilmente, sede fortes.14 Todas as vossas obras sejam feitas em caridade.15 Rogo-vos, irmãos (sabeis a casa de Estéfanas, que é as primícias de Acaia, e se dedicaram ao serviço dos santos),16 que também vos sujeiteis aos tais, e a todo aquele que ajuda na obra e trabalha.17 Regozijo-me com vinda de Estéfanas, de Fortunato e de Acaico, porque o que faltava da vossa parte, eles o supriram;18 pois recriaram o meu espírito e o vosso. Reconhecei, portanto, os tais.19 As igrejas da Ásia vos saúdam. Muito vos saúdam no Senhor Áqüila e Priscila, com a igreja que está na sua casa.20 Todos os irmãos vos saúdam. 1 Now concerning the collection for the holy ones, you should do the same as I told the congregations of Galatia.2 On one day of the week let every one of you set something aside, as God has prospered you, that there be no contributions collected when I come. Greek: heis, number one3 When I come, whomever you approve by your letters, I will send to bring your gift to Jerusalem.4 If it is fitting that I also go they will go with me.5 Now I will come to you when I pass through Macedonia, for I do pass through Macedonia.6 And it may be that I will stay there and winter with you, that you may send me on my journey where ever I go.7 I will not see you now by the way; but I plan to stay a while with you, if the God permits.8 I will stay at Ephesus until Pentecost.9 For a great door that leads to activity is opened to me. Yet there are many people working against me.10 Now if Timothy comes, see that he may be with you without fear, for he works the work of God, as I also do.11 Let no one despise him. But conduct him in peace that he may come to me, for I look for him with the brothers.12 Concerning our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come to you with the brothers but his will was not at all to come at this time. He will come when he has a convenient time.13 Be alert be watchful and stand fast be vigilantpersevere in the faith, carry on as men be courageous, be strong. (Ps 31:24)14 Do everything with love.15 I exhort you, brothers, you know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first fruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the ministry of the holy ones.16 That you submit yourselves to such, and to every one that helps with us, and labors.17 I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus. For they have supplied what was lacking on your part.18 For they have refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore acknowledge them.19 The congregations of Asia greet you. Aquila and Priscilla greet you in the Lord, with the congregation that is in their house.20 All the brothers greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss.21 The greeting from me Paul is with my own hand.22 If any man does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed.
