Apocalipse 20

Satanás é amarrado por mil anos. Os mártires e santos reinam com Cristo

1 Vi *Ap 10.1um anjo descendo do céu, tendo a *Ap 1.18;9.1chave do abismo e uma grande cadeia na mão. 2 Ele se apoderou do *Ap 12.9dragão, da antiga serpente, isto é, do Diabo e Satanás, 3 e o *cp.Is 24.22;2Pe 2.4;Jd 6amarrou por mil anos, e o lançou no *Ap 20.1abismo, do qual fechou a porta e a *Dn 6.17; cp.Mt 27.66selou sobre ele, para que ele *Ap 20.8,10;Ap 12.9não enganasse mais as nações, até que fossem cumpridos os mil anos; e, depois disso, cumpre que ele seja solto por um pouco de tempo.

4 Vi também *Dn 7.9tronos, *cp.Ap 3.21;Mt 19.28e se assentaram sobre eles, e foi-lhes dado *Dn 7.22;1Co 6.2o poder de julgar. Vi *Ap 6.9as almas daqueles que tinham sido *Ap 6.9decapitados por amor do *Ap 1.9testemunho de Jesus e da palavra de Deus, e os que *Ap 13.15;20.12não adoraram a besta nem a sua imagem, e que não receberam *Ap 13.16s.a marca na testa nem na mão; eles *cp.Jo 14.19;Is 26.14viveram e *Ap 20.6;Ap 22.5; cp.3.21;5.10reinaram com Cristo mil anos. 5 Os outros mortos não viveram até que fossem cumpridos os mil anos. *cp.Lc 14.14;Fp 3.11;1Ts 4.16Esta é a primeira ressurreição. 6 *cp.Ap 14.13Bem-aventurado e santo é o que tem parte na primeira ressurreição! Sobre estes *Ap 20.14;Ap 2.11a segunda morte não tem poder, mas serão *Ap 1.6sacerdotes de Deus e de Cristo e reinarão com ele durante os mil anos.

Satanás é solto e, depois vencido para sempre

7 Quando forem cumpridos os mil anos, Satanás será *cp.Ap 20.2solto da sua prisão 8 e sairá a *Ap 20.3,10;Ap 12.9seduzir as nações que estão nos *Ap 7.1quatro cantos da terra, a *cp.Ez 38.2;39.1,6Gogue e a Magogue e *Ap 16.14a reuni-las para a guerra, cujo número é como *Hb 11.12a areia do mar. 9 *Ez 38.9,16;Hc 1.6Subiram sobre a largura da terra, e cercaram o *cp.Dt 23.14acampamento dos santos e a *Sl 87.2cidade querida. Mas desceu *Ez 38.22;39.6; cp.Ap 13.13fogo de céu e os devorou; 10 e *Ap 20.2s.o Diabo, que os seduzia, foi lançado no *Ap 20.14-15;Ap 19.20lago de fogo e enxofre, onde se acham *Ap 16.13a besta e o falso profeta. Eles serão *Ap 14.10s.atormentados dia e noite pelos séculos dos séculos.

A ressurreição geral e o juízo final

11 Vi um grande *Ap 4.2trono branco e o que estava sentado sobre ele, de cuja presença fugiu *Ap 6.14; cp.Ap 21.1a terra e o céu; e *cp.Dn 2.35;Ap 12.8lugar nenhum foi achado para eles. 12 Vi também os mortos, *Ap 11.18grandes e pequenos, em pé diante do trono; *Dn 7.10; cp.Jr 17.1,10livros foram abertos, e foi aberto outro livro, *Ap 20.15;Ap 3.5que é o da vida; *Ap 11.18e foram julgados os mortos pelas coisas que estavam escritas nesses livros *Ap 20.13;Ap 2.23;Mt 16.27segundo as suas obras. 13 O mar entregou os mortos que nele havia; *Ap 6.8; cp.1.18;21.4;1Co 15.26a morte e o Hades *Is 26.19entregaram os mortos que neles havia; e cada um foi julgado segundo as suas obras. 14 A morte e o Hades foram lançados no lago de fogo. Esta é *Ap 20.6a segunda morte, o lago de fogo. 15 Se alguém não foi achado escrito no livro da vida, foi lançado no lago de fogo.

1 I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 He seized the dragon, the old serpent, who is the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth,*20:2 TR and NU omit "who deceives the whole inhabited earth". and bound him for a thousand years, 3 and cast him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more until the thousand years were finished. After this, he must be freed for a short time.

4 I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and such as didn’t worship the beast nor his image, and didn’t receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. They lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead didn’t live until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him one thousand years.

7 And after the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and he will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war, whose number is as the sand of the sea. 9 They went up over the width of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. Fire came down out of heaven from God and devoured them. 10 The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

11 I saw a great white throne and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the sky fled away. There was found no place for them. 12 I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and they opened books. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it. Death and Hades*20:13 or, Hell gave up the dead who were in them. They were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Death and Hades*20:14 or, Hell were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 If anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.
