Profecia contra Amom

1 Veio a mim a palavra de Jeová, dizendo: 2 Filho do homem, *Ez 6.2;13.17;20.46olha para *Ez 21.20,28;Gn 19.38;Nm 21.24;Jr 27.3;Am 1.13;Sf 2.8os filhos de Amom e profetiza contra eles. 3 Dize aos filhos de Amom: Ouvi a palavra do Senhor Jeová: Porquanto disseste: *Ez 25.6;Ez 21.28;26.2;36.2;Sl 70.2-3Ah! Contra o meu santuário quando foi profanado, e contra a terra de Israel quando foi desolada, e contra a casa de Judá, quando foram ao cativeiro, 4 por isso eis que *Ez 21.31te entregarei aos *Jz 6.3,33;1Rs 4.30filhos do Oriente para lhes seres uma possessão, e em ti estabelecerão os seus aduares, e porão em ti as suas moradas. Eles *Dt 28.33,51;Is 1.7comerão os teus frutos e eles beberão o teu leite. 5 De *Ez 21.20;Dt 3.11;2Sm 12.26;Jr 49.2Rabá farei uma estrebaria de camelos e, dos filhos de Amom, um *Is 17.2;Sf 2.14curral de rebanhos; e sabereis que eu sou Jeová. 6 Pois assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Porque *Jó 27.23;Na 3.19aplaudiste com as mãos, e *Ez 6.11bateste com os pés, e, com todo o despeito do teu coração, *Sf 2.8,10;Ob 12te alegraste contra a terra de Israel, 7 portanto eis que *Ez 25.13,16;Sf 1.4estendi a minha mão contra ti e te darei por *Ez 26.5;Is 33.4despojo às nações; *Ez 21.32exterminar-te-ei dentre os povos *Am 1.14-15e te farei perecer dentre os países; destruir-te-ei, e *Ez 6.14saberás que eu sou Jeová.

Profecia contra Moabe

8 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Porquanto dizem *Gn 19.37;36.35;Êx 15.15;Is 11.14;15.1;Jr 9.26Moabe e *Ez 35.2;Gn 14.6;Dt 2.4,29Seir: Eis *Is 36.18-20que a casa de Judá é como todas as nações; 9 portanto eis que abrirei o lado de Moabe desde as cidades, sim, desde as suas cidades que estão pela banda das suas fronteiras, a glória do país, *Nm 33.49;Js 12.3;13.20Bete-Jesimote, *Nm 32.3,38;Js 13.17;1Cr 5.8;Jr 48.23Baal-Meom e *Nm 32.37;Js 13.19;Jr 48.1-23Quiriataim; 10 abri-lo-ei *Ez 25.4aos filhos do Oriente para irem contra os filhos de Amom e destes farei uma possessão, para que não haja mais memória dos filhos de Amom entre as nações. 11 Também *Ez 5.15;11.9executarei juízos sobre Moabe, e saberão que eu sou Jeová.

Profecia contra Edom

12 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Porquanto *Lm 4.21-22Edom se houve *Ez 35.2-3;36.5;Am 1.11;Ob 10-16vingativamente contra a casa de Judá, e cometeu graves ofensas, e se vingou deles, 13 portanto assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Estenderei a minha *Jr 49.8,13mão sobre Edom e dele *Ez 29.8;Ml 1.3-4exterminarei homens e animais; fá-lo-ei desolado desde *Gn 36.34;Jr 49.7;Am 1.12Temã, e até *Jr 25.23;49.8Dedã cairão pela espada. 14 Porei a minha *Ez 32.29vingança sobre Edom pela mão do meu povo de Israel; farão em Edom segundo a minha *Ez 35.11ira e segundo o meu furor; e conhecerão a minha vingança, diz o Senhor Jeová.

Profecia contra os filisteus

15 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Porquanto os filisteus se houveram *Ez 25.6,12;Is 14.29-31;Jl 3.4vingativamente e executaram vingança com despeito de alma, para destruírem com perpétua inimizade; 16 portanto assim diz o Senhor Jeová: Eis que estenderei *Jr 25.20;47.1-7a minha mão sobre os filisteus, e exterminarei os *1Sm 30.14;Sf 2.5quereteus, e destruirei as relíquias da costa do mar. 17 Deles *Ez 5.15tomarei grandes vinganças com furiosas repreensões; saberão que eu sou Jeová, quando eu tiver exercitado a minha vingança sobre eles.

1 Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 2 "Son of man, set your face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them. 3 Tell the children of Ammon, ‘Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh! The Lord Yahweh says, "Because you said, ‘Aha!’ against my sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity, 4 therefore, behold, I will deliver you to the children of the east for a possession. They will set their encampments in you and make their dwellings in you. They will eat your fruit and they will drink your milk. 5 I will make Rabbah a stable for camels and the children of Ammon a resting place for flocks. Then you will know that I am Yahweh." 6 For the Lord Yahweh says: "Because you have clapped your hands, stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the contempt of your soul against the land of Israel, 7 therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand on you, and will deliver you for a plunder to the nations. I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries. I will destroy you. Then you will know that I am Yahweh."

8 "‘The Lord Yahweh says: "Because Moab and Seir say, ‘Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations,’ 9 therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on its frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim, 10 to the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations. 11 I will execute judgments on Moab. Then they will know that I am Yahweh."

12 "‘The Lord Yahweh says: "Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and taken revenge on them," 13 therefore the Lord Yahweh says, "I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman. They will fall by the sword even to Dedan. 14 I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel. They will do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath. Then they will know my vengeance," says the Lord Yahweh.

15 "‘The Lord Yahweh says: "Because the Philistines have taken revenge, and have taken vengeance with contempt of soul to destroy with perpetual hostility," 16 therefore the Lord Yahweh says, "Behold, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast. 17 I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes. Then they will know that I am Yahweh, when I lay my vengeance on them."’"
