Ezequiel 7

Predição do castigo por causa do pecado nacional

1 Demais, veio a mim a palavra de Jeová, dizendo: 2 Ó tu, filho do homem, assim diz o Senhor Jeová à terra de Israel: Eis o *Ez 7.3,5,6;Ez 11.13;Am 8.2,10fim. O fim é vindo sobre os quatro cantos da terra. 3 Agora, é vindo o fim sobre ti; enviarei sobre ti a minha ira, *Ez 7.8-9,27;Ez 18.30te julgarei conforme os teus caminhos e farei vir sobre ti todas as tuas abominações. 4 Não te pouparão *Ez 7.9;Ez 5.11;8.18;Jr 13.14;Zc 11.6os meus olhos, nem mostrarei piedade; mas *Ez 11.21;22.31;Os 9.7porei sobre ti os teus caminhos, e as tuas abominações estarão no meio de ti. *Ez 7.27;Ez 6.7,14Sabereis que eu sou Jeová.

5 Assim diz o Senhor Jeová: *2Rs 21.12-13;Na 1.9o mal, um só mal eis que vem. 6 É vindo *Ez 7.2o fim, é vindo o fim, *Zc 13.7desperta contra ti; *Ez 7.10;Ez 39.8eis que vem. 7 A tua sorte é chegada a ti, ó habitante da terra. É chegado *Ez 7.12;Ez 12.23-25,28o tempo, está perto *Is 22.5o dia, dia de tumulto, e não de alegres gritos, sobre os montes. 8 Agora, em breve, *Ez 9.8;14.19;Is 42.25;Na 1.6derramarei sobre ti o meu furor e *Ez 6.12cumprirei contra ti a minha ira, *Ez 7.3;Ez 33.20;36.19te julgarei conforme os teus caminhos e porei sobre ti todas as tuas abominações. 9 *Ez 7.4Os meus olhos não pouparão, nem mostrarei piedade; porei sobre ti *Ez 7.3conforme os teus caminhos, e as tuas abominações estarão no meio de ti.

Sabereis que eu, *Is 9.13Jeová, firo.

10 Eis o *Ez 7.7,12dia, eis que vem. Está nascida a tua sorte; já floresceu a *Is 10.5;Sl 89.32vara, já brotou a soberba. 11 A violência levantou-se para servir de vara de *Sl 73.8;125.3;Is 59.6-8iniquidade: nada restará deles, nem da sua multidão nem dos seus *Sf 1.18bens. Não haverá eminência entre eles. 12 É *Ez 7.5-7,10;1Co 7.29-31;Tg 5.8-9chegado o tempo, aproxima-se o dia; não se regozije o *Pv 20.14;1Co 7.30comprador, nem se entristeça o vendedor, *Ez 7.14;Ez 6.11-12;Is 5.13-14pois a ira está sobre toda a multidão deles. 13 Na verdade, o vendedor *Lv 25.24-28,31não tornará a possuir o que vendeu a outrem, embora estejam eles ainda entre os viventes; pois a visão é no tocante a toda a multidão deles. Ninguém voltará, nem se fortalecerá na iniquidade da sua vida.

14 *Nm 10.9;Jr 4.5Tocaram a trombeta e prepararam tudo, mas ninguém vai à batalha; pois a minha *Ez 7.12ira está sobre toda a multidão deles. 15 Fora *Ez 5.12;6.11-12;12.16;Jr 14.18a espada, e dentro, a peste e a fome. O que está no campo morrerá à espada; e o que está na cidade, devorá-lo-á a fome e a peste. 16 Mas, *Ez 6.8;14.22;Ed 9.15;Is 37.31quando escaparem os que dentre eles escaparem, estarão sobre os montes como *Is 38.14pombas dos vales, todos *Is 59.11;Na 2.7gemendo, cada um na sua iniquidade. 17 Todas *Ez 21.7;22.14;Is 13.7;Hb 12.12as mãos se debilitarão e todos os joelhos se tornarão fracos como água. 18 Também *Ez 27.31;Is 15.3;Am 8.10se cingirão de sacos, *Jó 21.6;Sl 55.5e o terror os cobrirá; em todos os rostos haverá vergonha, e, em todas as suas cabeças *Ez 27.31calvície. 19 A sua prata, *Is 2.20;30.22lançá-la-ão pelas ruas, e o seu ouro será como coisa imunda; *Pv 11.4;Sf 1.18a sua prata e o seu ouro não os poderão livrar *Ez 13.5no dia do furor de Jeová. *Sl 78.30-31;Is 55.2Não fartarão a sua alma, nem encherão as suas entranhas, pois serviram *Ez 14.3-4,7;44.12de tropeço da sua iniquidade. 20 Converteram em soberba a formosura dos seus adornos e deles fizeram *Ez 16.17as imagens das suas abominações e as suas coisas detestáveis; portanto, eu os fiz para eles coisa imunda. 21 Entregá-los-ei nas mãos *2Rs 24.13;Sl 74.2-8;Jr 52.13dos estrangeiros por presa e aos ímpios da terra por despojo; e eles os profanarão. 22 Também desviarei deles *Ez 39.23-24;Jr 18.17o meu rosto, e se profanará o meu lugar oculto; nele, entrarão saqueadores que o profanarão.

23 *Jr 27.2Faze uma cadeia, porque a terra está cheia de *Ez 9.9;Os 4.2crimes de sangue, e a cidade está *Ez 8.17cheia de violência. 24 Farei vir os péssimos *Ez 21.31;28.7dos pagãos, que possuirão as casas deles; também farei cessar *Ez 33.28a soberba dos poderosos. Os seus *Ez 24.21;2Cr 7.20lugares santos serão profanados. 25 Vem a destruição; eles buscarão *Ez 13.10,16a paz, e não a haverá. 26 Virá *Is 47.11;Jr 4.20miséria sobre miséria, e levantar-se-á *Ez 21.7rumor sobre rumor; do profeta buscarão *Jr 21.2;37.17uma visão; do sacerdote *Ez 22.26;Sl 74.9;Mq 3.6perecerá a lei, e dos anciãos, *Ez 11.2;Jr 18.18o conselho. 27 O rei pranteará, e o príncipe *Ez 26.16;Jó 8.22;Sl 35.26;109.18,29cobrir-se-á de desolação, e as mãos do povo da terra tremerão de medo. Far-lhes-ei *Ez 7.3-4,8;Ez 18.30;Is 3.11conforme o seu caminho e os julgarei segundo os seus merecimentos; *Ez 7.4e saberão que eu sou Jeová.

1 Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying, 2 "You, son of man, the Lord Yahweh says to the land of Israel, ‘An end! The end has come on the four corners of the land. 3 Now the end is on you, and I will send my anger on you, and will judge you according to your ways. I will bring on you all your abominations. 4 My eye will not spare you, neither will I have pity; but I will bring your ways on you, and your abominations will be among you. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.’

5 "The Lord Yahweh says: ‘A disaster! A unique disaster! Behold, it comes. 6 An end has come. The end has come! It awakes against you. Behold, it comes. 7 Your doom has come to you, inhabitant of the land! The time has come! The day is near, a day of tumult, and not of joyful shouting, on the mountains. 8 Now I will shortly pour out my wrath on you, and accomplish my anger against you, and will judge you according to your ways. I will bring on you all your abominations. 9 My eye won’t spare, neither will I have pity. I will punish you according to your ways. Your abominations will be among you. Then you will know that I, Yahweh, strike.

10 "‘Behold, the day! Behold, it comes! Your doom has gone out. The rod has blossomed. Pride has budded. 11 Violence has risen up into a rod of wickedness. None of them will remain, nor of their multitude, nor of their wealth. There will be nothing of value among them. 12 The time has come! The day draws near. Don’t let the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is on all its multitude. 13 For the seller won’t return to that which is sold, although they are still alive; for the vision concerns the whole multitude of it. None will return. None will strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life. 14 They have blown the trumpet, and have made all ready; but no one goes to the battle, for my wrath is on all its multitude.

15 "‘The sword is outside, and the pestilence and the famine within. He who is in the field will die by the sword. He who is in the city will be devoured by famine and pestilence. 16 But of those who escape, they will escape and will be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them moaning, everyone in his iniquity. 17 All hands will be feeble, and all knees will be weak as water. 18 They will also clothe themselves with sackcloth, and horror will cover them. Shame will be on all faces, and baldness on all their heads. 19 They will cast their silver in the streets, and their gold will be as an unclean thing. Their silver and their gold won’t be able to deliver them in the day of Yahweh’s wrath. They won’t satisfy their souls or fill their bellies; because it has been the stumbling block of their iniquity. 20 As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty; but they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things therein. Therefore I have made it to them as an unclean thing. 21 I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a plunder; and they will profane it. 22 I will also turn my face from them, and they will profane my secret place. Robbers will enter into it, and profane it.

23 "‘Make chains, for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence. 24 Therefore I will bring the worst of the nations, and they will possess their houses. I will also make the pride of the strong to cease. Their holy places will be profaned. 25 Destruction comes! They will seek peace, and there will be none. 26 Mischief will come on mischief, and rumor will be on rumor. They will seek a vision of the prophet; but the law will perish from the priest, and counsel from the elders. 27 The king will mourn, and the prince will be clothed with desolation. The hands of the people of the land will be troubled. I will do to them after their way, and according to their own judgments I will judge them. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.’"
