Michtam of David. Preserve me, O God; for in you I take refuge.

Salmos 16:1

For the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David the slave of Yahweh, who spoke to Yahweh the words of this song in the day that Yahweh delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul, and he said: I love you, O Yahweh, my strength.

Yahweh is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my rock, in whom I will take refuge; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

I will call on Yahweh, who is worthy to be praised: So I will be saved from my enemies.

Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.

Naum 1:7

For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

Isaías 25:4

5 My soul, wait in silence for God only; For my expectation is from him.

6 He only is my rock and my salvation: [He is] my high tower; I will not be moved.

7 With God is my salvation and my glory: The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

Salmos 62:5-8

Yahweh also will be a high tower for the oppressed, A high tower in times of trouble;

And those who know your name will put their trust in you; For you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you.

3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, And from the word of calamity.

4 He will cover you with his pinions, And under his wings you will take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler.
