A Psalm by David.

1 Yahweh, I have called on you.

Come to me quickly!

Listen to my voice when I call to you.

2 Let my prayer be set before you like incense;

the lifting up of my hands like the evening sacrifice.

3 Set a watch, Yahweh, before my mouth.

Keep the door of my lips.

4 Don’t incline my heart to any evil thing,

to practice deeds of wickedness with men who work iniquity.

Don’t let me eat of their delicacies.

5 Let the righteous strike me, it is kindness;

let him reprove me, it is like oil on the head;

don’t let my head refuse it;

Yet my prayer is always against evil deeds.

6 Their judges are thrown down by the sides of the rock.

They will hear my words, for they are well spoken.

7 "As when one plows and breaks up the earth,

our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol."*141:7 Sheol is the place of the dead.

8 For my eyes are on you, Yahweh, the Lord.

I take refuge in you.

Don’t leave my soul destitute.

9 Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me,

from the traps of the workers of iniquity.

10 Let the wicked fall together into their own nets

while I pass by.

1 အို​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၊ ကိုယ်​တော်​ကို အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​အော်​ဟစ်​ပါ၏။ အ​လျင်​အ​မြန် ကြွ​လာ​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ ကိုယ်​တော်​ကို အော်​ဟစ်​သော​အ​ခါ၊ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်၏​စ​ကား​သံ​ကို နား​ထောင်​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ 2 အ​ကျွန်ုပ်၏​ပ​တ္ထ​နာ​သည် မီး​ရှို့​သော​နံ့​သာ​ပေါင်း​ကဲ့​သို့​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ လက်​ကို​ချီ​ခြင်း​သည် ညဉ့်​ဦး​ယံ ပူ​ဇော်​သ​ကာ​ကဲ့​သို့​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ ရှေ့​တော်၌ ပြင်​ဆင်​လျက်​ရှိ​ပါ​စေ​သော။*ဗျာ၊ ၅:၈။3 အို​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၊ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်၏​နှုတ်​ရှေ့​မှာ ကင်း​ကို​ထား​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်၏​နှုတ်​ခမ်း​တံ​ခါး​ကို စောင့်​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ 4 ဒု​စ​ရိုက်​ကို ပြု​သော​သူ​တို့​နှင့်​အ​တူ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ပါ၍၊ မ​တ​ရား​သော​အ​မှု၊ ဒု​စ​ရိုက်​အ​မျိုး​မျိုး၌ ကျင်​လည်​စေ​ခြင်း​ငှာ၊ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်၏​စိတ်​နှ​လုံး​ကို မ​ကောင်း​သော​အ​မှု​အ​ရာ​သို့ သွေး​ဆောင်​တော်​မ​မူ​ပါ​နှင့်။ ထို​သူ​တို့၏​ခဲ​ဖွယ်​စား​ဖွယ်​တို့​ကို အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​မ​စား​ပါ​စေ​နှင့်။ 5 ဖြောင့်​မတ်​သော​သူ​သည် အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ကို ဒဏ်​ခတ်​ပါ​စေ​သော၊ ကျေး​ဇူး​ရှိ​ပါ​လိမ့်​မည်။ ဆုံး​မ​ပါ​စေ​သော၊ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ဦး​ခေါင်း​ကို လိမ်း​သော​ဆီ​ဖြစ်​ပါ​လိမ့်​မည်။ ထပ်၍ ပြု​သော်​လည်း အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​မ​ငြင်း​ပါ။ ယ​ခု​မူ​ကား၊ သူ​တစ်​ပါး​ပြု​သော အ​ဓ​မ္မ​အ​မှု​တစ်​ဖက်၌ ဆု​တောင်း​ရ​ပါ၏။ 6 သူ​တို့၏​အ​ကဲ​အ​မှူး​တို့​သည် ကျောက်​တွင်း​နား​မှ​လွတ်၍၊ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်၏​စ​ကား​ကို ကြား​ရ​ကြ​ပါ၏။ ထို​စ​ကား​လည်း ချို​ပါ၏။ 7 မြေ​ပေါ်​မှာ ထင်း​ကို​ခုတ်၍ ခွဲ​သ​ကဲ့​သို့၊ မ​ရ​ဏနိုင်​ငံ​တံ​ခါး​ဝ​မှာ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​တို့၏​အ​ရိုး​များ​တို့​သည် ကွဲ​ပြား​လျက် ရှိ​ကြ​ပါ၏။ 8 အို ဘု​ရား​ရှင်​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား၊ ကိုယ်​တော်​ကို အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​မျှော်​ကြည့်​ပါ၏။ ကိုယ်​တော်၌ ခို​လှုံ​ပါ၏။ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်၏​အ​သက်​ကို သွန်​ပစ်​စေ​တော်​မ​မူ​ပါ​နှင့်။ 9 အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ဖို့ ထောင်​ထား​ကြ​သော ကျော့​ကွင်း​မှ​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ ဒု​စ​ရိုက်​ကို ပြု​သော​သူ​တို့၏ ညွှတ်​မှ​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​ကို လွတ်​စေ​တော်​မူ​ပါ။ 10 ထို​သို့ အ​ကျွန်ုပ်​သည်​လွန်​သွား​သော​အ​ခါ၊ မ​တ​ရား​သော​သူ​အ​ပေါင်း​တို့​သည် မိ​မိ​တို့​ကျော့​ကွင်း​ထဲ​သို့ ကျ​ကြ​ပါ​စေ​သော။
