1 The heavens declare the glory of the Mighty God; and the firmament proclaims His handiwork.2 Day unto day pours forth speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge.3 There is no speech nor words where their voice is not heard.4 Their line has gone out through all the earth and their words to the ends of the world. In them He has set a tent for the sun,5 which comes forth like a bridegroom out from his chamber; he exults as a strong man to run a race,6 going forth from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the ends of it. And there is nothing hidden from its heat.7 The Law of Jehovah is perfect, converting the soul; the Testimony of Jehovah is sure, making wise the simple.8 The Statutes of Jehovah are upright, rejoicing the heart; the Commandments of Jehovah are pure, illuminating the eyes.
