1 Aquele a quem forem trilhados os testículos ou cortado o membro viril não entrará na assembleia do Senhor.

2 Nenhum bastardo entrará na assembleia do Senhor; nem ainda a sua décima geração entrará nela. 3 Nenhum amonita ou moabita entrará na assembleia do Senhor; nem ainda a sua décima geração entrará na assembleia do Senhor, eternamente. 4 Porquanto não foram ao vosso encontro com pão e água, no caminho, quando saíeis do Egito; e porque alugaram contra ti Balaão, filho de Beor, de Petor, da Mesopotâmia, para te amaldiçoar. 5 Porém o Senhor, teu Deus, não quis ouvir a Balaão; antes, trocou em bênção a maldição, porquanto o Senhor, teu Deus, te amava. 6 Não lhes procurarás nem paz nem bem em todos os teus dias, para sempre.

7 Não aborrecerás o edomita, pois é teu irmão; nem aborrecerás o egípcio, pois estrangeiro foste na sua terra. 8 Os filhos que lhes nascerem na terceira geração, cada um deles entrará na assembleia do Senhor.

9 Quando sair o exército contra os teus inimigos, então, te guardarás de toda coisa má.

10 Se houver entre vós alguém que, por motivo de polução noturna, não esteja limpo, sairá do acampamento; não permanecerá nele. 11 Porém, em declinando a tarde, lavar-se-á em água; e, posto o sol, entrará para o meio do acampamento.

12 Também haverá um lugar fora do acampamento, para onde irás. 13 Dentre as tuas armas terás um porrete; e, quando te abaixares fora, cavarás com ele e, volvendo-te, cobrirás o que defecaste. 14 Porquanto o Senhor, teu Deus, anda no meio do teu acampamento para te livrar e para entregar-te os teus inimigos; portanto, o teu acampamento será santo, para que ele não veja em ti coisa indecente e se aparte de ti.

15 Não entregarás ao seu senhor o escravo que, tendo fugido dele, se acolher a ti. 16 Contigo ficará, no meio de ti, no lugar que escolher, em alguma de tuas cidades onde lhe agradar; não o oprimirás.

17 Das filhas de Israel não haverá quem se prostitua no serviço do templo, nem dos filhos de Israel haverá quem o faça. 18 Não trarás salário de prostituição nem preço de sodomita à Casa do Senhor, teu Deus, por qualquer voto; porque uma e outra coisa são igualmente abomináveis ao Senhor, teu Deus.

19 A teu irmão não emprestarás com juros, seja dinheiro, seja comida ou qualquer coisa que é costume se emprestar com juros. 20 Ao estrangeiro emprestarás com juros, porém a teu irmão não emprestarás com juros, para que o Senhor, teu Deus, te abençoe em todos os teus empreendimentos na terra a qual passas a possuir.

21 Quando fizeres algum voto ao Senhor, teu Deus, não tardarás em cumpri-lo; porque o Senhor, teu Deus, certamente, o requererá de ti, e em ti haverá pecado. 22 Porém, abstendo-te de fazer o voto, não haverá pecado em ti. 23 O que proferiram os teus lábios, isso guardarás e o farás, porque votaste livremente ao Senhor, teu Deus, o que falaste com a tua boca.

24 Quando entrares na vinha do teu próximo, comerás uvas segundo o teu desejo, até te fartares, porém não as levarás no cesto. 25 Quando entrares na seara do teu próximo, com as mãos arrancarás as espigas; porém na seara não meterás a foice.

1 He that is a eunuch, whether he have been crushed or cut, shall not come into the congregation of Jehovah.

2 A bastard shall not come into the congregation of Jehovah; even his tenth generation shall not come into the congregation of Jehovah.

3 An Ammonite or Moabite shall not come into the congregation of Jehovah; even their tenth generation shall not come into the congregation of Jehovah for ever;

4 because they met you not with bread and with water on the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt, and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor, of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.

5 But Jehovah thy God would not listen to Balaam; and Jehovah thy God turned the curse into blessing unto thee, because Jehovah thy God loved thee.

6 Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.

7 Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother. Thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a sojourner in his land.

8 Children that are born to them shall come into the congregation of Jehovah in the third generation.

9 When thou goest forth into camp against thine enemies, then keep thee from every evil thing.

10 If there be with thee a man that is not clean from what hath happened in the night, then shall he go outside the camp; he shall not come inside the camp;

11 and it shall be, towards evening, he shall bathe in water: and at the going down of the sun he may come inside the camp.

12 Thou shalt have a place also outside the camp, and shalt go forth thither.

13 And thou shalt have a shovel amongst thy weapons, and it shall be, when thou sittest down abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which is come from thee.

14 For Jehovah thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; and thy camp shall be holy, that he see nothing unseemly with thee, and turn away from thee.

15 Thou shalt not hand over to his master a bondman that hath escaped from his master unto thee:

16 he shall dwell with thee, even in thy midst, in the place that he shall choose in one of thy gates, where it seemeth good to him; thou shalt not oppress him.

17 There shall be no prostitute amongst the daughters of Israel, nor any Sodomite amongst the sons of Israel.

18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a harlot, or the price of a dog, into the house of Jehovah thy God for any vow; for even both these are an abomination to Jehovah thy God.

19 Thou shalt take no interest of thy brother, interest of money, interest of victuals, interest of anything that can be lent upon interest:

20 of a foreigner thou mayest take interest, but of thy brother thou shalt not take interest; that Jehovah thy God may bless thee in all the business of thy hand in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

21 When thou vowest a vow to Jehovah thy God, thou shalt not delay to perform it; for Jehovah thy God will certainly require it of thee, and it shall be sin in thee.

22 But if thou forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.

23 What is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and do, as thou hast vowed to Jehovah thy God, the voluntary-offering that thou hast promised with thy mouth.

24 When thou comest into thy neighbour's vineyard, thou mayest eat grapes thy fill, according to thy desire, but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.

25 When thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbour, thou mayest pluck ears with thy hand; but thou shalt not wave the sickle against thy neighbour's standing corn.

5 Todavia Jeová teu Deus não quis ouvir a Balaão; porém trocou-te em bênção a maldição, porque te amava.

6 Não lhes procurarás paz nem prosperidade todos os teus dias para sempre.

7 Não aborrecerás ao edomita, porque é teu irmão; não aborrecerás ao egípcio, porque foste peregrino na sua terra.

8 Os filhos da terceira geração que lhes nascerem entrarão na assembléia de Jeová.

9 Quando te acampares contra os teus inimigos, guardar-te-ás de toda a coisa má.

10 Se houver entre vós homem que não seja limpo por causa de algum acidente noturno, sairá para fora do acampamento, não entrará nele;

11 porém, quando a tarde começar a declinar, banhar-se-á em água; e, depois do sol posto, entrará para dentro do acampamento.

12 Terás também um lugar fora do acampamento, e a este lugar sairás.

13 Entre as tuas mãos terás uma pá; quando te assentares lá fora, com ela cavarás e, virando-te, cobrirás o teu excremento,

14 porque Jeová teu Deus anda no meio do teu acampamento, para te livrar, e para te entregar a ti os teus inimigos. Portanto, o teu acampamento será santo, para que ele não veja em ti coisa indecente, e se aparte de ti.

15 Não entregarás ao seu senhor o escravo que, fugindo do seu senhor, se tiver acolhido a ti.

16 Contigo ficará, no meio de ti, no lugar que escolher, dentro de uma das tuas cidades, que lhe agradar; não o oprimirás.

17 Das filhas de Israel não haverá quem se prostitua no serviço do templo, nem dos filhos de Israel não haverá quem o faça.

18 Não trarás para a casa de Jeová teu Deus o aluguel da prostituta ou o preço desse cão em paga de qualquer voto, porque uma e outra coisa são igualmente abominável a Jeová teu Deus.

19 Não exigirás de teu irmão juros, nem de dinheiro, nem de comida, nem de coisa alguma por que se exigem juros.

20 De um estrangeiro poderás exigir juros; porém de teu irmão não os exigirás, para que Jeová teu Deus te abençoe em todas as coisas em que puseres a mão, na terra em que tu estás entrando para a possuíres.

21 Quando fizeres um voto a Jeová teu Deus, não tardarás em o cumprir; porque Jeová teu Deus sem falta o requererá de ti; e em ti haverá pecado.

22 Porém, se te abstiveres de fazer voto, não haverá pecado em ti.

23 O que saiu dos teus lábios, isso observarás e cumprirás, assim como fizeste livremente a Jeová teu Deus o voto do que prometeste com a tua boca.

24 Quando entrares na vinha do teu próximo, poderás comer quantas uvas quiseres até te fartares, porém não levarás contigo coisa alguma.

25 Quando entrares na seara do teu próximo, poderás com a mão colher as espigas, porém não meterás foice na seara do teu próximo.
