1 Vendo extraviado o boi ou a ovelha de teu irmão, não te furtarás a eles; restituí-los-ás, sem falta, a teu irmão. 2 Se teu irmão não for teu vizinho ou tu o não conheceres, recolhê-los-ás na tua casa, para que fiquem contigo até que teu irmão os busque, e tu lhos restituas. 3 Assim também farás com o seu jumento e assim farás com as suas vestes; o mesmo farás com toda coisa que se perder de teu irmão, e tu achares; não te poderás furtar a ela. 4 O jumento que é de teu irmão ou o seu boi não verás caído no caminho e a eles te furtarás; sem falta o ajudarás a levantá-lo.

5 A mulher não usará roupa de homem, nem o homem, veste peculiar à mulher; porque qualquer que faz tais coisas é abominável ao Senhor, teu Deus.

6 Se de caminho encontrares algum ninho de ave, nalguma árvore ou no chão, com passarinhos, ou ovos, e a mãe sobre os passarinhos ou sobre os ovos, não tomarás a mãe com os filhotes; 7 deixarás ir, livremente, a mãe e os filhotes tomarás para ti, para que te vá bem, e prolongues os teus dias.

8 Quando edificares uma casa nova, far-lhe-ás, no terraço, um parapeito, para que nela não ponhas culpa de sangue, se alguém de algum modo cair dela.

9 Não semearás a tua vinha com duas espécies de semente, para que não degenere o fruto da semente que semeaste e a messe da vinha.

10 Não lavrarás com junta de boi e jumento.

11 Não te vestirás de estofos de lã e linho juntamente.

12 Farás borlas nos quatro cantos do manto com que te cobrires.

13 Se um homem casar com uma mulher, e, depois de coabitar com ela, a aborrecer, 14 e lhe atribuir atos vergonhosos, e contra ela divulgar má fama, dizendo: Casei com esta mulher e me cheguei a ela, porém não a achei virgem, 15 então, o pai da moça e sua mãe tomarão as provas da virgindade da moça e as levarão aos anciãos da cidade, à porta. 16 O pai da moça dirá aos anciãos: Dei minha filha por mulher a este homem; porém ele a aborreceu; 17 e eis que lhe atribuiu atos vergonhosos, dizendo: Não achei virgem a tua filha; todavia, eis aqui as provas da virgindade de minha filha. E estenderão a roupa dela diante dos anciãos da cidade, 18 os quais tomarão o homem, e o açoitarão, 19 e o condenarão a cem siclos de prata, e o darão ao pai da moça, porquanto divulgou má fama sobre uma virgem de Israel. Ela ficará sendo sua mulher, e ele não poderá mandá-la embora durante a sua vida. 20 Porém, se isto for verdade, que se não achou na moça a virgindade, 21 então, a levarão à porta da casa de seu pai, e os homens de sua cidade a apedrejarão até que morra, pois fez loucura em Israel, prostituindo-se na casa de seu pai; assim, eliminarás o mal do meio de ti.

22 Se um homem for achado deitado com uma mulher que tem marido, então, ambos morrerão, o homem que se deitou com a mulher e a mulher; assim, eliminarás o mal de Israel.

23 Se houver moça virgem, desposada, e um homem a achar na cidade e se deitar com ela, 24 então, trareis ambos à porta daquela cidade e os apedrejareis até que morram; a moça, porque não gritou na cidade, e o homem, porque humilhou a mulher do seu próximo; assim, eliminarás o mal do meio de ti.

25 Porém, se algum homem no campo achar moça desposada, e a forçar, e se deitar com ela, então, morrerá só o homem que se deitou com ela; 26 à moça não farás nada; ela não tem culpa de morte, porque, como o homem que se levanta contra o seu próximo e lhe tira a vida, assim também é este caso. 27 Pois a achou no campo; a moça desposada gritou, e não houve quem a livrasse.

28 Se um homem achar moça virgem, que não está desposada, e a pegar, e se deitar com ela, e forem apanhados, 29 então, o homem que se deitou com ela dará ao pai da moça cinquenta siclos de prata; e, uma vez que a humilhou, lhe será por mulher; não poderá mandá-la embora durante a sua vida.

30 Nenhum homem tomará sua madrasta e não profanará o leito de seu pai.

1 Thou shalt not see thy brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them back unto thy brother.

2 And if thy brother be not near unto thee, and thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thy house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it unto him.

3 And so shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his clothing; and so shalt thou do with everything that is lost of thy brother, which he loseth, and thou findest: thou mayest not hide thyself.

4 Thou shalt not see thy brother's ass or his ox fall by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case {help} him to lift them up.

5 There shall not be a man's apparel on a woman, neither shall a man put on a woman's clothing; for whoever doeth so is an abomination to Jehovah thy God.

6 If a bird's nest chance to be before thee in the way, in any tree, or upon the ground, with young or with eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:

7 thou shalt in any case let the dam go, and thou mayest take the young to thee, that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days.

8 When thou buildest a new house, thou shalt make a parapet for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thy house, if any one should in any wise fall from it.

9 Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with {seed of} two sorts, lest the whole of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the produce of thy vineyard, be forfeited.

10 Thou shalt not plough with an ox and an ass together.

11 Thou shalt not wear a garment of mixed material, {woven} of wool and linen together.

12 Tassels shalt thou make thee on the four corners of thy clothing, wherewith thou coverest thyself.

13 If a man take a wife, and go in unto her and hate her,

14 and charge her with things for scandalous talk, and cause an evil name against her to be spread abroad, and say, This woman have I taken, and I came in unto her, and I did not find her a virgin;

15 then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate;

16 and the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man as wife, and he hates her;

17 and behold, he charges her with things for scandalous talk, saying, I found not thy daughter a virgin; and here are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.

18 And the elders of that city shall take the man and chastise him;

19 and they shall fine him a hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath caused an evil name to be spread abroad against a virgin in Israel. And she shall remain his wife: he may not put her away all his days.

20 But if this thing is true, {and} virginity hath not been found with the damsel;

21 then they shall bring out the damsel unto the entrance of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought infamy in Israel, committing fornication in her father's house; and thou shalt put evil away from thy midst.

22 If a man be found lying with a man's wife, they shall both of them die, the man that lay with the woman, and the woman; and thou shalt put away evil from Israel.

23 If a damsel, a virgin, be betrothed to some one, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her,

24 then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, {being} in the city, and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife; and thou shalt put evil away from thy midst.

25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her, then the man only that lay with her shall die;

26 and unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing: there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death; for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and murdereth him, so is this matter;

27 for he found her in the field, the betrothed damsel cried, and there was no one to save her.

28 If a man find a damsel, a virgin, who is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found,

29 then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty {shekels} of silver, and she shall be his wife, because he hath humbled her; he may not put her away all his days.

30 A man shall not take his father's wife, nor uncover his father's skirt.

1 Vendo extraviado o boi de teu irmão, ou a ovelha, não passarás por eles indiferente; sem falta os restituirás a teu irmão.

2 Se teu irmão não estiver perto de ti, ou não o conheceres, levarás o animal para tua casa, e ficará contigo, até que teu irmão o exija, então lho restituirás.

3 Do mesmo modo farás com o seu jumento; o mesmo farás com o seu vestido; e assim farás com toda a coisa perdida que teu irmão tiver perdido, e tu achares; não ficarás indiferente.

4 Vendo o jumento de teu irmão, ou o seu boi, caídos no caminho, não passarás por eles indiferente; sem falta o ajudarás a levantá-los.

5 A mulher não trará traje de homem, nem o homem vestirá o vestido de mulher, porque aquele que faz estas coisas é abominável a Jeová teu Deus.

6 Se de caminho encontrares numa árvore ou no chão o ninho duma ave com filhinhos ou ovos, e a mãe posta sobre os filhinhos ou sobre os ovos; não apanharás a mãe com os filhinhos;

7 sem falta deixarás ir a mãe, porém poderás tomar para o teu uso os seus filhinhos; para que te vá bem, e para que prolongues os teus dias.

8 Quando edificares uma casa nova, farás um parapeito no teto, para que, se alguém dali cair, não tragas sangue sobre a tua casa.

9 Não semearás a tua vinha com duas espécies de semente, para que não se corrompa todo o produto, tanto da semente que semeaste como da novidade da vinha.

10 Não lavrarás com boi e asno juntamente.

11 Não te vestirás de coisa que seja tecido de lã e de linho.

12 Fímbrias porás nos quatro cantos da tua capa com que cobrires.

13 Se um homem casar com uma mulher e, depois de coabitar com ela, a aborrecer,

14 e contra ela fizer alegações arbitrárias, e divulgar uma má fama contra ela, e disser: Casei-me com esta mulher, e quando fui deitar-me com ela, não achei nela os sinais da virgindade;

15 o pai da moça e sua mãe tomarão os sinais da virgindade da moça e os levarão aos anciãos da cidade à porta.

16 O pai da moça dirá aos anciãos: Dei minha filha por mulher a este homem, e ele a aborrece;

17 eis que contra ela tem feito alegações arbitrárias, dizendo: Não achei em tua filha os sinais da virgindade. Todavia, estes são os sinais da virgindade de minha filha. Estenderão a roupa na presença dos anciãos da cidade.

18 Então os anciãos daquela cidade tomarão o homem e o castigarão;

19 e multá-lo-ão em cem siclos de prata e os darão ao pai da moça, porque divulgou má fama contra uma virgem de Israel. Ela ficará sendo sua mulher, e ele não a poderá repudiar por todos os seus dias.

20 Porém, se isto for verdadeiro, a saber, que não se acharam na moça os sinais da virgindade;

21 tirarão a moça até a porta da casa de seu pai, e os homens da cidade a apedrejarão, até que morra; porque cometeu uma loucura em Israel, fornicando na casa de seu pai. Assim exterminarás o mal do meio de ti.

22 Se um homem se achar deitado com uma mulher que tenha marido, morrerão ambos eles: o homem que se deitar com a mulher, e a mulher. Assim exterminarás de Israel o mal.

23 Se a uma moça virgem que for desposada, um homem a achar na cidade e se deitar com ela;

24 trareis ambos à porta daquela cidade, e os apedrejareis até que morram: a moça, porque, estando na cidade, não gritou: e o homem, porque humilhou a mulher do seu próximo. Assim exterminarás o mal do meio de ti.

25 Porém, se o homem achar no campo a moça que é desposada, e pegar nela e se deitar com ela; então morrerá somente o homem que se deitou com ela;

26 mas à moça, não lhe farás nada. Não há na moça pecado digno de morte, porque como no caso do homem que se levanta contra o seu próximo, e lhe tira a vida, assim também é este caso;

27 pois a achou no campo. A moça desposada gritou, e não houve quem a livrasse.

28 Se um homem achar uma moça que é virgem e não é desposada, e pegar nela e se deitar com ela, e forem apanhados;

29 o homem que se deitou com ela dará ao pai da moça cinqüenta siclos de prata, e ela ficará sendo sua mulher, porque a humilhou. Não a poderá repudiar por todos os seus dias.

30 Um homem não tomará a mulher de seu pai, e não levantará o vestido de seu pai.
