1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I directed the assemblies of Galatia, so do *ye* do also.2 On {the} first of {the} week let each of you put by at home, laying up {in} whatever {degree} he may have prospered, that there may be no collections when I come.3 And when I am arrived, whomsoever ye shall approve, these I will send with letters to carry your bounty to Jerusalem:4 and if it be suitable that *I* also should go, they shall go with me.5 But I will come to you when I shall have gone through Macedonia; for I do go through Macedonia.6 But perhaps I will stay with you, or even winter with you, that *ye* may set me forward wheresoever I may go.7 For I will not see you now in passing, for I hope to remain a certain time with you, if the Lord permit.8 But I remain in Ephesus until Pentecost.9 For a great door is opened to me and an effectual {one}, and {the} adversaries many.10 Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear; for he works the work of the Lord, even as I.11 Let not therefore any one despise him; but set him forward in peace, that he may come to me; for I expect him with the brethren.12 Now concerning the brother Apollos, I begged him much that he would go to you with the brethren; but it was not at all {his} will to go now; but he will come when he shall have good opportunity.13 Be vigilant; stand fast in the faith; quit yourselves like men; be strong.14 Let all things ye do be done in love.15 But I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first-fruits of Achaia, and they have devoted themselves to the saints for service,)16 that *ye* should also be subject to such, and to every one joined in the work and labouring.17 But I rejoice in the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus; because *they* have supplied what was lacking on your part.18 For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: own therefore such.19 The assemblies of Asia salute you. Aquila and Priscilla, with the assembly in their house, salute you much in {the} Lord.20 All the brethren salute you. Salute one another with a holy kiss.21 The salutation of {me} Paul with my own hand.22 If any one love not the Lord {Jesus Christ} let him be Anathema Maranatha.23 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ {be} with you.24 My love {be} with you all in Christ Jesus. 1 Touchant la collecte qui se fait pour les Saints, faites comme j'en ai ordonné aux Eglises de Galatie.2 C'est que chaque premier jour de la semaine, chacun de vous mette à part chez soi, ce qu'il pourra assembler suivant la prospérité [que Dieu lui accordera], afin que lorsque je viendrai, les collectes ne soient point à faire.3 Puis quand je serai arrivé, j'enverrai ceux que vous approuverez par vos Lettres pour porter votre libéralité à Jérusalem.4 Et s'il est à propos que j'y aille moi-même, ils viendront aussi avec moi.5 J'irai donc vers vous, ayant passé par la Macédoine; car je passerai par la Macédoine.6 Et peut-être que je séjournerai parmi vous, ou même que j'y passerai l'hiver; afin que vous me conduisiez partout où j’irai.7 Car je ne vous veux point voir maintenant en passant, mais j'espère que je demeurerai avec vous quelque temps, si le Seigneur le permet.8 Toutefois je demeurerai à Ephèse jusqu'à la Pentecôte.9 Car une grande porte, [et de grande] efficace m'y est ouverte, mais il y a plusieurs adversaires.10 Que si Timothée vient, prenez garde qu'il soit en sûreté parmi vous; car il s'emploie à l'œuvre du Seigneur comme moi-même.11 Que personne donc ne le méprise; mais conduisez-le en toute sûreté, afin qu'il vienne me trouver ; car je l'attends avec les frères.12 Quant à Apollos notre frère, je l'ai beaucoup prié d'aller vers vous avec les frères, mais il n'a nullement eu la volonté d'y aller maintenant : toutefois il y ira quand il en aura la commodité.13 Veillez, soyez fermes en la foi, portez-vous vaillamment, fortifiez-vous.14 Que toutes vos affaires se fassent en charité.15 Or, mes frères, vous connaissez la famille de Stéphanas, [et vous savez] qu'elle est les prémices de l'Achaïe, et qu'ils se sont entièrement appliqués au service des Saints;16 Je vous prie de vous soumettre à eux, et à chacun de ceux qui s'emploient à l'œuvre [du Seigneur], et qui travaillent avec nous.17 Or je me réjouis de la venue de Stéphanas, de Fortunat, et d'Achaïque; parce qu'ils ont suppléé à ce que vous ne pouvez pas faire pour moi.18 Car ils ont recréé mon esprit et le vôtre : ayez donc de la considération pour de telles personnes.19 Les Eglises d'Asie vous saluent. Aquilas et Priscille, avec l'Eglise qui [est] en leur maison, vous saluent affectueusement en [notre] Seigneur.20 Tous les frères vous saluent. Saluez-vous l'un l'autre par un saint baiser.21 La salutation [est] de la propre main de moi Paul.22 S'il y a quelqu'un qui n'aime point le Seigneur Jésus-Christ, qu'il soit anathème, Maranatha.23 Que la grâce de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ soit avec vous!24 Mon amour s'étend à vous tous en Jésus-Christ.
