Isaías 56

1 Thus saith Jehovah: Keep ye judgment and do righteousness; for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. 2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that holdeth fast to it; that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

3 And let not the son of the alien, that hath joined himself to Jehovah, speak saying, Jehovah hath entirely separated me from his people; neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree; 4 for thus saith Jehovah: Unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast to my covenant, 5 even unto them will I give in my house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off. 6 Also the sons of the alien, that join themselves to Jehovah, to minister unto him and to love the name of Jehovah, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from profaning it, and holdeth fast to my covenant; 7 even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer; their burnt-offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar: for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all the peoples. 8 The Lord Jehovah, who gathereth the outcasts of Israel, saith: Yet will I gather others to him, with those of his that are gathered.

9 All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, all ye beasts in the forest. 10 His watchmen are all of them blind, they are without knowledge; they are all dumb dogs that cannot bark, dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber: 11 and the dogs are greedy, they know not to be satisfied, and these are shepherds that know not how to discern: they all turn to their own way, every one for his gain, even to the last of them: 12 Come, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to-morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.

1 ASÍ dijo Jehová: Guardad derecho, y haced justicia: ✝56.1 cp. 46.13.porque cercana está mi salud para venir, y mi justicia para manifestarse.

2 Bienaventurado el hombre que esto hiciere, y el hijo del hombre que esto abrazare: ✝56.2 vers. 4,6que guarda el sábado de profanarlo, y que guarda su mano de hacer todo mal.

3 ✝ 56.3 Dt. 23.3. cp. 60.10 . Hch. 10.1,2.Y el hijo del extranjero, allegado á Jehová, no hable diciendo: Apartaráme totalmente Jehová de su pueblo. Ni diga el eunuco: He aquí yo soy ✝56.3 Ez. 17.24.árbol seco.

4 Porque así dijo Jehová á los eunucos que guardaren mis sábados, y escogieren lo que yo quiero, y abrazaren mi pacto:

5 Yo les daré lugar en ✝56.5 1 Ti. 3.15.mi casa y dentro de mis muros, ✝56.5 Jn. 1.12. Ro. 8.15.y nombre mejor que el de hijos é hijas; nombre perpetuo les daré que nunca perecerá.

1 Observancia del Sábado.

2 Idolatría de Israel.

6 Y á los hijos de los extranjeros que se allegaren á Jehová para ministrarle, y que amaren el nombre de Jehová para ser sus siervos: á todos los que guardaren el sábado de profanarlo, y abrazaren mi pacto,

7 Yo los llevaré ✝56.7 cp. 2.2.al monte de mi santidad, y los recrearé en mi casa de oración; ✝56.7 He. 13.15.sus holocaustos y sus sacrificios serán aceptos sobre mi altar; ✝56.7 Mt. 21.13.porque mi casa, casa de oración será llamada de ✝56.7 Mal. 1.11.todos los pueblos.

8 Dice el Señor Jehová, ✝56.8 cp. 11.12.el que junta los echados de Israel: Aun ✝56.8 Jn. 10.16. Ef. 1.10.juntaré sobre él sus congregados.

9 Todas las bestias del campo, todas las bestias del monte, venid á devorar.

10 Sus ✝56.10 cp. 62.6.atalayas ciegos son, todos ellos ignorantes; ✝56.10 Fil. 3.2.todos ellos perros mudos, no pueden ladrar; soñolientos, echados, aman el dormir.

11 Y esos perros ansiosos no conocen hartura; y los mismos ✝56.11 Ez. 34.2,3.pastores no supieron entender: ✝56.11 cp. 57.17. Jer. 6.13.todos ellos miran á sus caminos, cada uno á su provecho, cada uno por su cabo.

12 Venid, dicen, tomaré vino, embriaguémonos de sidra; ✝56.12 Pr. 23.35. cp. 22.13. Lc. 12.19. 1 Co. 15.32.y será el día de mañana como este, ó mucho más excelente.
