Isaías 52

1 Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean. 2 Shake thyself from the dust; arise, sit down, Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, captive daughter of Zion. 3 For thus saith Jehovah: Ye have sold yourselves for nought, and ye shall be redeemed without money. 4 For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: My people went down at the first into Egypt to sojourn there, and Assyria oppressed them without cause; 5 and now, what have I here, saith Jehovah, that my people hath been taken away for nought? They that rule over them make them to howl, saith Jehovah; and continually all the day is my name scorned. 6 Therefore my people shall know my name; therefore they shall know in that day that I am HE, that saith, Here am I.

7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that announceth glad tidings, that publisheth peace; that announceth glad tidings of good, that publisheth salvation, that saith unto Zion, Thy God*GodHebrew: Elohim reigneth! 8 — The voice of thy watchmen, they lift up the voice, they sing aloud together; for they shall see eye to eye, when Jehovah shall bring again Zion. 9 Break forth, sing aloud together, waste places of Jerusalem; for Jehovah comforteth his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. 10 Jehovah hath made bare his holy arm in the sight of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God*GodHebrew: Elohim11 — Depart, depart, go out from thence, touch not what is unclean; go out of the midst of her, be ye clean, that bear the vessels of Jehovah. 12 For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight; for Jehovah will go before you, and the God*GodHebrew: Elohim of Israel will be your rear-guard.

13 Behold, my servant shall deal prudently; he shall be exalted and be lifted up, and be very high. 14 As many were astonished at thee — his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the children of men 15 — so shall he astonish many nations; kings shall shut their mouths at him: for what had not been told them shall they see, and what they had not heard shall they consider.

2 Sacúdete del polvo; ✝52.2 cp. 51.23.levántate y siéntate, Jerusalem; ✝52.2 Zac. 2.7.suéltate de las ataduras de tu cuello, cautiva hija de Sión.

3 Porque así dice Jehová: ✝52.3 Sal. 44.12. cp. 45.13 y 50.1De balde fuisteis vendidos; por tanto, sin dinero seréis rescatados.

4 Porque así dijo el Señor Jehová: Mi pueblo descendió ✝52.4 Gn. 46.6.a Egipto en tiempo pasado, para peregrinar allá; y el Assur lo cautivó sin razón.

5 Y ahora ¿qué á mí aquí, dice Jehová, ya que mi pueblo sea llevado sin por qué? Y los que en él se enseñorean, lo hacen aullar, dice Jehová, y continuamente ✝52.5 Ro. 2.24.es blasfemado mi nombre todo el día.

6 Por tanto, mi pueblo sabrá mi nombre por esta causa en ✝52.6 cp. 2.11.aquel día: porque ✝52.6 Sal. 102.27.yo mismo que hablo, he aquí estaré presente.

7 ¡Cuán hermosos ✝52.7 Nah. 1.15. Ro. 10.15.son sobre los montes los ✝52.7 Ef. 6.15.pies del que trae alegres nuevas, del que publica la paz, ✝52.7 cp. 40.9.del que trae nuevas del bien, del que publica salud, del que dice á Sión: ✝52.7 1 Cr. 16.31.Tu Dios reina!

8 ¡Voz de tus atalayas! alzarán la voz, juntamente darán voces de júbilo; porque ojo á ojo verán que Jehová vuelve á traer á Sión.

9 Cantad alabanzas, alegraos juntamente, soledades de Jerusalem: ✝52.9 cp. 51.3.porque Jehová ha consolado su pueblo, ✝52.9 cp. 48.20.a Jerusalem ha redimido.

10 Jehová desnudó el ✝52.10 Sal. 98.1. cp. 51.9brazo de su santidad ante los ojos de todas las gentes; y ✝52.10 Sal. 98.3. Mt. 28.19.todos los términos de la tierra verán la salud del Dios nuestro.

11 ✝ 52.11 2 Ti. 2.21. Apartaos, apartaos, salid de ahí, no toquéis cosa inmunda; salid de en medio de ella; limpiaos ✝52.11 Esd. 1.7-11.los que lleváis los vasos de Jehová.

12 Porque ✝52.12 Ex. 12.33,39.no saldréis apresurados, ni iréis huyendo; porque Jehová irá delante de vosotros, ✝52.12 Ez. 14.19.y os congregará el Dios de Israel.

13 He aquí que ✝52.13 cp. 42.1.mi siervo será prosperado, ✝52.13 cp. 53.12.será engrandecido y ensalzado, y será muy sublimado.

14 Como se pasmaron de ti muchos, en tanta manera ✝52.14 Sal. 22.6. cp. 53.2,3fué desfigurado de los hombres su parecer; y su hermosura más que la de los hijos de los hombres.

15 ✝ 52.15 Ez. 36.25. He. 9.13,14. Empero él rociará muchas gentes: ✝52.15 cp. 49.7,23.los reyes cerrarán sobre él sus bocas; porque ✝52.15 Ro. 15.21.verán lo que nunca les fué contado, y entenderán lo que jamás habían oído.
