Deuteronômio 12

1 Dies sind die Satzungen und die Rechte, welche ihr beobachten sollt, sie zu tun in dem Lande, das Jehova, der Gott deiner Väter, dir gegeben hat, es zu besitzen alle die Tage, die ihr auf dem Erdboden lebet: 2 Ihr sollt alle die Orte gänzlich zerstören, wo die Nationen, die ihr austreiben werdet, ihren Göttern gedient haben: auf den hohen Bergen und auf den Hügeln und unter jedem grünen Baume; 3 und ihr sollt ihre Altäre niederreißen und ihre Bildsäulen zerbrechen und ihre Ascherim mit Feuer verbrennen und die geschnitzten Bilder ihrer Götter umhauen; und ihr sollt ihre Namen aus selbigem Orte vertilgen. 4 Jehova, eurem Gott, sollt ihr nicht also tun;

5 sondern den Ort sollt ihr aufsuchen, welchen Jehova, euer Gott, aus allen euren Stämmen erwählen wird, um seinen Namen dahin zu setzen, daß er dort wohne, und dahin sollst du kommen. 6 Und ihr sollt dahin bringen eure Brandopfer und eure Schlachtopfer, und eure Zehnten, und das Hebopfer eurer Hand, und eure Gelübde und eure freiwilligen Gaben, und die Erstgeborenen eures Rind- und eures Kleinviehes; 7 und daselbst sollt ihr vor Jehova, eurem Gott, essen und euch erfreuen, ihr und eure Häuser, an allem Geschäft eurer Hand, worin Jehova, dein Gott, dich gesegnet hat. 8 Ihr sollt nicht tun nach allem, was wir heute hier tun, ein jeder, was irgend recht ist in seinen Augen; 9 denn ihr seid bis jetzt noch nicht zu der Ruhe und zu dem Erbteil gekommen, das Jehova, dein Gott, dir gibt. 10 Seid ihr aber über den Jordan gezogen und wohnet ihr in dem Lande, das Jehova, euer Gott, euch erben läßt, und er schafft euch Ruhe vor allen euren Feinden ringsum, und ihr wohnet sicher, 11 so soll es geschehen: der Ort, welchen Jehova, euer Gott, erwählen wird, seinen Namen daselbst wohnen zu lassen, dahin sollt ihr alles bringen, was ich euch gebiete: eure Brandopfer und eure Schlachtopfer, eure Zehnten und das Hebopfer eurer Hand, und alle Auswahl eurer Gelübde, die ihr Jehova geloben werdet. 12 Und ihr sollt euch freuen vor Jehova, eurem Gott, ihr und eure Söhne und eure Töchter und eure Knechte und eure Mägde, und der Levit, der in euren Toren ist, denn er hat kein Teil noch Erbe mit euch. 13 Hüte dich, daß du nicht deine Brandopfer an jedem Orte opferst, den du siehst! 14 sondern an dem Orte, welchen Jehova in einem deiner Stämme erwählen wird, daselbst sollst du deine Brandopfer opfern und daselbst alles tun, was ich dir gebiete. 15 Doch magst du nach allem Begehr deiner Seele schlachten und Fleisch essen in allen deinen Toren, nach dem Segen Jehovas, deines Gottes, den er dir gegeben hat: Der Unreine und der Reine mögen es essen, wie die Gazelle und wie den Hirsch. *d. h. Tiere, die, obwohl rein, nicht geopfert werden konnten, und die jedermann essen durfte. (Vergl. 3. Mose 7,19)16 Nur das Blut sollt ihr nicht essen, ihr sollt es auf die Erde gießen wie Wasser. - 17 Du darfst in deinen Toren nicht essen den Zehnten deines Getreides und deines Mostes und deines Öles, noch die Erstgeborenen deines Rind- und deines Kleinviehes, noch alle deine Gelübde, die du tust, noch deine freiwilligen Gaben, noch das Hebopfer deiner Hand; 18 sondern vor Jehova, deinem Gott, an dem Orte, welchen Jehova, dein Gott, erwählen wird, sollst du es essen, du und dein Sohn und deine Tochter, und dein Knecht und deine Magd, und der Levit, der in deinen Toren ist; und du sollst dich vor Jehova, deinem Gott, erfreuen an allem Geschäft deiner Hand. 19 Hüte dich, daß du den Leviten nicht verlässest, alle deine Tage in deinem Lande. 20 Wenn Jehova, dein Gott, dein Gebiet erweitern wird, so wie er zu dir geredet hat, und du sprichst: Ich will Fleisch essen, weil deine Seele Fleisch zu essen begehrt, so magst du Fleisch essen nach allem Begehr deiner Seele. 21 Wenn der Ort, den Jehova, dein Gott, erwählen wird, um seinen Namen dahin zu setzen, fern von dir ist, so magst du schlachten von deinem Rind- und von deinem Kleinvieh, das Jehova dir gegeben hat, so wie ich dir geboten habe, und in deinen Toren essen nach allem Begehr deiner Seele; 22 gerade so wie die Gazelle und der Hirsch gegessen werden, also magst du es essen: Der Unreine und der Reine mögen es gleicherweise essen. 23 Nur halte daran fest, kein Blut zu essen, denn das Blut ist die Seele; *O. das Leben; vergl. 3. Mose 17,11 usw. und du sollst nicht die Seele mit dem Fleische essen; 24 du sollst es nicht essen, du sollst es auf die Erde gießen wie Wasser; 25 du sollst es nicht essen, auf daß es dir und deinen Kindern nach dir wohlgehe, weil du tust, was recht ist in den Augen Jehovas. 26 Jedoch deine heiligen Dinge, die du haben wirst, und deine Gelübde sollst du nehmen und an den Ort kommen, den Jehova erwählen wird; 27 und deine Brandopfer, das Fleisch und das Blut, sollst du auf dem Altar Jehovas, deines Gottes, opfern; und das Blut deiner Schlachtopfer soll an *O. auf den Altar Jehovas, deines Gottes, gegossen werden, und das Fleisch magst du essen. 28 Habe acht und höre auf alle diese Worte, die ich dir gebiete, auf daß es dir und deinen Kindern nach dir wohlgehe ewiglich, weil du tust, was gut und recht ist in den Augen Jehovas, deines Gottes. 29 Wenn Jehova, dein Gott, die Nationen vor dir ausrottet, zu welchen du kommst, um sie auszutreiben, und du treibst sie aus und wohnst in ihrem Lande, 30 so hüte dich, daß du nicht verstrickt werdest ihnen nach, nachdem sie vor dir vertilgt sind, und daß du nicht fragest nach ihren Göttern und sprechest: Wie dienten diese Nationen ihren Göttern? so will auch ich ebenso tun. 31 Jehova, deinem Gott, sollst du nicht also tun; denn alles, was für Jehova ein Greuel ist, den er haßt, haben sie ihren Göttern getan; denn sogar ihre Söhne und ihre Töchter haben sie ihren Göttern mit Feuer verbrannt. 32 Das ganze Wort, das ich euch gebiete, das sollt ihr beobachten, es zu tun; du sollst nichts hinzufügen und nichts davontun.

26 Ko āu mea tapu ia, i a koe nā, me āu kī taurangi, me tango e koe, ka haere ki te wāhi e whiriwhiri ai a Ihowā. 27 Nā, ka tuku mai koe i āu tahunga tinana, i te kikokiko me te toto, ki runga ki te āta a Ihowā, a tōu Atua. Nā, ko te toto o āu patunga tapu me riringi ki runga ki te āta a Ihowā, a tōu Atua, ko te kikokiko ia me kai e koe.
