Zacarias 6

He Hāriata e Whā

1 Ā, ka maranga ake anō ōku kanohi, ka kite, nā, e whā ngā hāriata e puta mai ana i waenganui o ngā maunga e rua – nā, ko ngā maunga, he maunga parāhi. 2 I te hāriata tuatahi he whero ngā hōiho; i te hāriata tuarua he mangu ngā hōiho, 3 i te toru o ngā hāriata he mā ngā hōiho, i te whā o ngā hāriata he kōpurepure, he pākākā ngā hōiho. 4 Kātahi ahau ka oho atu, ka mea ki te anahera i kōrero rā ki ahau, "He aha ēnei, e tōku ariki?"

5 Nā, ka whakahoki mai te anahera, ka mea ki ahau, "Ko ngā hau e whā ēnei o te rangi, e haere mai ana i te tū i te aroaro o te Ariki o te whenua katoa. 6 Ko te hāriata i ngā hōiho mangu, e haere ana rātou ki te whenua i te raki; ā, i haere ngā mea mā i muri i a rātou; nā, ko ngā mea kōpurepure i ahu pērā ki te whenua ki te tonga."

7 I haere atu anō ngā mea pākākā, i whai kia hāereere, kia kōpikopiko rātou i te whenua. Nā, ka mea ia, "Haere atu koe, kōpikopiko i te whenua." Nā, kei te kōpikopiko rātou i te whenua.

8 Kātahi tērā ka karanga ki ahau, ka kōrero mai hoki ki ahau, ka mea, "Nanā, ko ēnei i ahu atu nei ki te whenua ki te raki, kua mārie i a rātou tōku wairua i te whenua ki te raki."

9 I puta mai anō te kupu a Ihowā ki ahau, i mea: 10 "Tangohia tā ngā whakarau, arā tā Hererai, tā Tōpia, tā Ieraia – haere mai anō koe i taua rā, ka tomo ki te whare o Hōhia tama a Tepania – ki te whare i tae mai ai rātou i Papurōna. 11 Āe rā, ka tango i tā rātou hiriwa, kōura hoki, ka hanga ai i ētahi karauna, ā, ka pōtae atu ki te māhunga o te tino tohunga, o Hohua tama a Iohereke; 12 kōrero atu hoki ki a ia, mea atu: ‘Ko te kupu tēnei a Ihowā o ngā mano, e kī ana: Nanā, te tangata ko tōna ingoa nei ko te Manga: ā, ka tupu ake anō ia i tōna wāhi, ā, māna e hanga te temepara o Ihowā. 13 Māna rawa e hanga te temepara o Ihowā; ā, māna e waha te korōria, ka noho hoki ia ka whakahaere tikanga i runga i tōna torōna; ā, hei tohunga ia i runga i tōna torōna; ā, ka whakaaro ngātahi rāua mō te rongo mau.’ 14 Ka ai hoki ngā karauna hei whakamahara ki a Hēreme rātou ko Tōpia, ko Ieraia, ko Hene tama a Tepania, i roto i te temepara o Ihowā. 15 Ka haere mai anō te hunga i tawhiti, ka hanga i roto i te temepara o Ihowā, ā, ka mōhio koutou nā Ihowā o ngā mano ahau i unga mai ki a koutou. Ā, e puta anō tēnei, ki te āta whakarongo koutou ki te reo o Ihowā, o tō koutou Atua."

1 And again I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass. 2 In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses; 3 and in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grizzled strong horses. 4 Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord? 5 And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four winds of heaven, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth. 6 The chariot wherein are the black horses goeth forth toward the north country; and the white went forth after them; and the grizzled went forth toward the south country. 7 And the strong went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth. 8 Then cried he to me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, they that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

9 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying, 10 Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah; and come thou the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, whither they are come from Babylon; 11 yea, take of them silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest; 12 and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold, the man whose name is the Branch: and he shall grow up out of his place; and he shall build the temple of Jehovah; 13 even he shall build the temple of Jehovah; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. 14 And the crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of Jehovah. 15 And they that are far off shall come and build in the temple of Jehovah; and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto you. And this shall come to pass, if ye will diligently obey the voice of Jehovah your God.
