Salmos 53

To the Heavenly Worship Leader upon Mahalat [meaning disputed], Maskhil [a poem of contemplation], [A Psalm (sacred song about or to God)] of David [Beloved].

1 The fool has said in his heart, [There is] no God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: [there is] none that does good.

2 God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were [any] that did understand, that did seek God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered].

3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; [there is] none that does good, no, not one.

4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people [as] they eat bread: they have not called upon God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered].

5 There were they in great fear, [where] no fear was: for God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] has scattered the bones of him that encamps [against] youi: youi have put [them] to shame, because God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] has despised them.

6 Oh that the salvation of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel of God] [were come] out of Tziyon [Parched Place]! When God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] brings back the captivity of his people, Ya’akov [Heel of God] shall rejoice, [and] Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel of God] shall be glad.
