1 Disse o Senhor a Moisés:2 "Diga aos israelitas que me tragam uma oferta. Receba-a de todo aquele cujo coração o compelir a dar.3 Estas são as ofertas que deverá receber deles: ouro, prata e bronze,4 fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho, linho fino, pêlos de cabra,5 peles de carneiro tingidas de vermelho, couro, madeira de acácia,6 azeite para iluminação; especiarias para o óleo da unção e para o incenso aromático;7 pedras de ônix e outras pedras preciosas para serem encravadas no colete sacerdotal e no peitoral.8 "E farão um santuário para mim, e eu habitarei no meio deles.9 Façam tudo como eu lhe mostrar, conforme o modelo do tabernáculo e de cada utensílio.10 "Faça uma arca de madeira de acácia com um metro e dez centímetros de comprimento, setenta centímetros de largura e setenta centímetros de altura.11 Revista-a de ouro puro, por dentro e por fora, e faça uma moldura de ouro ao seu redor.12 Mande fundir quatro argolas de ouro para ela e prenda-as em seus quatro pés, com duas argolas de um lado e duas do outro.13 Depois faça varas de madeira de acácia, revista-as de ouro14 e coloque-as nas argolas laterais da arca, para que possa ser carregada.15 As varas permanecerão nas argolas da arca; não devem ser retiradas.16 Então coloque dentro da arca as tábuas da aliança que lhe darei.17 "Faça uma tampa de ouro puro com um metro e dez centímetros de comprimento por setenta centímetros de largura,18 com dois querubins de ouro batido nas extremidades da tampa.19 Faça um querubim numa extremidade e o segundo na outra, formando uma só peça com a tampa.20 Os querubins devem ter suas asas estendidas para cima, cobrindo com elas a tampa. Ficarão de frente um para o outro, com o rosto voltado para a tampa.21 Coloque a tampa sobre a arca, e dentro dela as tábuas da aliança que darei a você.22 Ali, sobre a tampa, no meio dos dois querubins que se encontram sobre a arca da aliança, eu me encontrarei com você e lhe darei todos os meus mandamentos destinados aos israelitas.23 "Faça uma mesa de madeira de acácia com noventa centímetros de comprimento, quarenta e cinco centímetros de largura e setenta centímetros de altura.24 Revista-a de ouro puro e faça uma moldura de ouro ao seu redor.25 Faça também ao seu redor uma borda com a largura de quatro dedos e uma moldura de ouro para essa borda.26 Faça quatro argolas de ouro para a mesa e prenda-as nos quatro cantos dela, onde estão os seus quatro pés.27 As argolas devem ser presas próximas da borda para que sustentem as varas usadas para carregar a mesa.28 Faça as varas de madeira de acácia, revestindo-as de ouro; com elas se carregará a mesa.29 Faça de ouro puro os seus pratos e o recipiente para incenso, as suas tigelas e as bacias nas quais se derramam as ofertas de bebidas.30 Coloque sobre a mesa os pães da Presença, para que estejam sempre diante de mim.31 "Faça um candelabro de ouro puro e batido. O pedestal, a haste, as taças, as flores e os botões do candelabro formarão com ele uma só peça.32 Seis braços sairão do candelabro: três de um lado e três do outro.33 Haverá três taças com formato de flor de amêndoa num dos braços, cada uma com botão e flor, e três taças com formato de flor de amêndoa no braço seguinte, cada uma com botão e flor. Assim será com os seis braços que saem do candelabro.34 Na haste do candelabro haverá quatro taças com formato de flor de amêndoa, cada uma com botão e flor.35 Haverá um botão debaixo de cada par dos seis braços que saem do candelabro.36 Os braços com seus botões formarão uma só peça com o candelabro, tudo feito de ouro puro e batido.37 "Faça-lhe também sete lâmpadas e coloque-as nele para que iluminem a frente dele.38 Seus cortadores de pavio e seus apagadores serão de ouro puro.39 Com trinta e cinco quilos de ouro puro faça o candelabro e todos esses utensílios.40 Tenha o cuidado de fazê-lo segundo o modelo que lhe foi mostrado no monte".

1 And LORD spoke to Moses, saying,2 Speak to the sons of Israel, that they take for me an offering; of every man whose heart makes him willing ye shall take my offering.3 And this is the offering which ye shall take of them: gold, and silver, and brass,4 and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' [hair],5 and rams' skins dyed red, and sea-skins, and acacia wood,6 oil for the light, spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense,7 onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod and for the breastplate.8 And let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.9 According to all that I show thee: the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the furniture of it, even so shall ye make it.10 And they shall make an ark of acacia wood. Two cubits and a half shall be the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it.11 And thou shall overlay it with pure gold. Inside and outside thou shall overlay it, and shall make upon it a crown of gold round about.12 And thou shall cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four feet of it. And two rings shall be on the one side of it, and two rings on the other side of it.13 And thou shall make staves of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.14 And thou shall put the staves into the rings on the sides of the ark, with which to bear the ark.15 The staves shall be in the rings of the ark; they shall not be taken from it.16 And thou shall put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.17 And thou shall make a mercy-seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it.18 And thou shall make two cherubim of gold; of beaten work shall thou make them, at the two ends of the mercy-seat.19 And make one cherub at the one end, and one cherub at the other end; of one piece with the mercy-seat ye shall make the cherubim on the two ends of it.20 And the cherubim shall spread out their wings on high, covering the mercy-seat with their wings, with their faces one to another; the faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy-seat.21 And thou shall put the mercy-seat above upon the ark. And in the ark thou shall put the testimony that I shall give thee.22 And there I will meet with thee. And I will commune with thee from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment to the sons of Isra23 And thou shall make a table of acacia wood, two cubits the length of it, and a cubit the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it.24 And thou shall overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.25 And thou shall make to it a border of a handbreadth round about, and thou shall make a golden crown to the border of it round about.26 And thou shall make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet of it.27 The rings shall be close by the border, for places for the staves to bear the table.28 And thou shall make the staves of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.29 And thou shall make the dishes of it, and the spoons of it, and the flagons of it, and the bowls of it, with which to pour out, of pure gold thou shall make them.30 And thou shall set upon the table showbread before me always.31 And thou shall make a candlestick of pure gold. Of beaten work shall the candlestick be made, even its base, and its shaft, its cups, its knobs, and its flowers, shall be of one piece with it.32 And there shall be six branches going out of the sides of it, three branches of the candlestick out of the one side of it, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side of it:33 three cups made like almond-blossoms in one branch, a knob and a flower, and three cups made like almond-blossoms in the other branch, a knob and a flower, so for the six branches going out of the candlestick,34 and in the candlestick four cups made like almond-blossoms, the knobs of it, and the flowers of it.35 And a knob under two branches of one piece with it, and a knob under two branches of one piece with it, and a knob under two branches of one piece with it, for the six branches going out of the candlestick.36 Their knobs and their branches shall be of one piece with it, the whole of it one beaten work of pure gold.37 And thou shall make the lamps of it, seven. And they shall light the lamps of it, to give light opposite it.38 And the snuffers of it, and the snuff dishes of it, shall be of pure gold.39 Of a talent of pure gold shall it be made, with all these vessels.40 And see that thou make [them] according to their pattern that has been shown thee on the mountain.
