1 Moisés reuniu toda a comunidade de Israel e lhes disse: "Estas são as coisas que o Senhor os mandou fazer:2 Em seis dias qualquer trabalho poderá ser feito, mas o sétimo dia lhes será santo, um sábado de descanso consagrado ao Senhor. Todo aquele que trabalhar nesse dia terá que ser morto.3 Nem sequer acendam fogo em nenhuma de suas casas no dia de sábado! "4 Disse Moisés a toda a comunidade de Israel: "Foi isto que o Senhor ordenou:5 Separem dentre os seus bens uma oferta para o Senhor. Todo aquele que, de coração, estiver disposto, trará como oferta ao Senhor ouro, prata e bronze;6 fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho; linho fino e pêlos de cabra;7 peles de carneiro tingidas de vermelho e couro; madeira de acácia;8 óleo para a iluminação; especiarias para o óleo da unção e para o incenso aromático;9 pedras de ônix e outras pedras preciosas para serem encravadas no colete sacerdotal e no peitoral.10 "Todos os que dentre vocês forem capazes virão fazer tudo quanto o Senhor ordenou:11 o tabernáculo com sua tenda e sua cobertura, os ganchos, as armações, os travessões, as colunas e as bases;12 a arca com suas varas, a tampa e o véu que a protege;13 a mesa com suas varas e todos os seus utensílios, e os pães da Presença;14 o candelabro com seus utensílios, as lâmpadas e o óleo para iluminação;15 o altar do incenso com suas varas, o óleo da unção e o incenso aromático; a cortina divisória à entrada do tabernáculo;16 o altar de holocaustos com sua grelha de bronze, suas varas e todos os seus utensílios; a bacia de bronze e sua base;17 as cortinas externas do pátio com suas colunas e bases, e a cortina da entrada para o pátio;18 as estacas do tabernáculo e do pátio e suas cordas;19 as vestes litúrgicas para ministrar no Lugar Santo, tanto as vestes sagradas de Arão, o sacerdote, como as vestes de seus filhos, para quando servirem como sacerdotes".20 Então toda a comunidade de Israel saiu da presença de Moisés,21 e todos os que estavam dispostos, cujo coração os impeliu a isso, trouxeram uma oferta ao Senhor para a obra na Tenda do Encontro, para todos os seus serviços e para as vestes sagradas.22 Todos os que se dispuseram, tanto homens como mulheres, trouxeram jóias de ouro de todos os tipos: broches, brincos, anéis e ornamentos; e apresentaram seus objetos de ouro como oferta ritualmente movida perante o Senhor.23 Todos os que possuíam fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho, ou linho fino, ou pêlos de cabra, peles de carneiro tingidas de vermelho ou couro, trouxeram-nos.24 Aqueles que apresentaram oferta de prata ou de bronze trouxeram-na como oferta ao Senhor, e todo aquele que possuía madeira de acácia para qualquer das partes da obra, também a trouxe.25 Todas as mulheres capazes teceram com suas mãos e trouxeram o que haviam feito: tecidos azul, roxo e vermelho e linho fino.26 Todas as mulheres que se dispuseram e que tinham habilidade teceram os pêlos de cabra.27 Os líderes trouxeram pedras de ônix e outras pedras preciosas para serem encravadas no colete sacerdotal e no peitoral.28 Trouxeram também especiarias e azeite de oliva para iluminação, para o óleo da unção e para o incenso aromático.29 Todos os israelitas que se dispuseram, tanto homens como mulheres, trouxeram ao Senhor ofertas voluntárias para toda a obra que o Senhor, por meio de Moisés, ordenou-lhes que fizessem.30 Disse então Moisés aos israelitas: "O Senhor escolheu Bezalel, filho de Uri, neto de Hur, da tribo de Judá,31 e o encheu do Espírito de Deus, dando-lhe destreza, habilidade e plena capacidade artística,32 para desenhar e executar trabalhos em ouro, prata e bronze,33 para talhar e lapidar pedras, entalhar madeira para todo tipo de obra artesanal.34 E concedeu tanto a ele como a Aoliabe, filho de Aisamaque, da tribo de Dã, a habilidade de ensinar os outros.35 A todos esses deu capacidade para realizar todo tipo de obra como artesãos, projetistas, bordadores de linho fino e de fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho, e como tecelões. Eram capazes para projetar e executar qualquer trabalho artesanal".

1 And Moses assembled all the congregation of the sons of Israel, and said to them, These are the words which LORD has commanded, that ye should do them.2 Six days work shall be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you a holy day, a Sabbath of solemn rest to LORD. Whoever does any work in it shall be put to death.3 Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the Sabbath day.4 And Moses spoke to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, saying, This is the thing which LORD commanded, saying,5 Take ye from among you an offering to LORD. Whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it--LORD's offering: gold, and silver, and brass,6 and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' [hair],7 and rams' skins dyed red, and sea-skins, and acacia wood,8 and oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,9 and onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate.10 And let every wise-hearted man among you come, and make all that LORD has commanded:11 the tabernacle, its tent, and its covering, its clasps, and its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets,12 the ark, and the staves of it, the mercy-seat, and the veil of the screen,13 the table, and its staves, and all its vessels, and the showbread,14 the candlestick also for the light, and its vessels, and its lamps, and the oil for the light,15 and the altar of incense, and its staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the screen for the door, at the door of the tabernacle,16 the altar of burnt-offering, with its grating of brass, it staves, and all its vessels, the laver and its base,17 the hangings of the court, the pillars of it, and their sockets, and the screen for the gate of the court,18 the pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,19 the finely wrought garments, for ministering in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office.20 And all the congregation of the sons of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.21 And they came, everyone whose heart stirred him up, and everyone whom his spirit made willing, [and] brought LORD's offering, for the work of the tent of meeting, and for all the service of it, and for the holy garments.22 And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing-hearted, [and] brought brooches, and earrings, and signet-rings, and armlets, all jewels of gold, even every man who offered an offering of gold to LORD.23 And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' [hair], and rams' skins dyed red, and sea-skins, brought them.24 Everyone who offered an offering of silver and brass brought LORD's offering, and every man, with whom was found acacia wood for any work of the service, brought it.25 And all the women who were wise-hearted spun with their hands, and brought that which they had spun: the blue, and the purple, the scarlet, and the fine linen.26 And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun the goats' [hair].27 And the rulers brought the onyx stones, and the stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate,28 and the spice, and the oil, for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.29 The sons of Israel brought a freewill-offering to LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all the work, which LORD had commanded to be made by Moses.30 And Moses said to the sons of Israel, See, LORD has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.31 And he has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,32 and to devise skilful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,33 and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all manner of skilful workmanship.34 And he has put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.35 He has filled them with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of workmanship, of the engraver, and of the skilful workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of thos
