1 Com fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho fizeram as vestes litúrgicas para ministrar no Lugar Santo. Também fizeram as vestes sagradas de Arão, como o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.2 Fez o colete sacerdotal de linho fino trançado e de fios de ouro e de fios de tecidos azul, roxo e vermelho.3 E bateu o ouro em finas placas das quais cortaram fios de ouro para serem bordados no linho fino com os fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho, obra artesanal.4 Fizeram as ombreiras para o colete sacerdotal, atadas às suas duas extremidades, para que pudessem ser amarradas.5 O cinturão e o colete por ele preso foram feitos da mesma peça. O cinturão também foi feito de linho fino trançado e de fios de ouro e de fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho, como o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.6 Prenderam as pedras de ônix em filigranas de ouro e nelas gravaram os nomes dos filhos de Israel, como um lapidador grava um selo.7 Então as costuraram nas ombreiras do colete sacerdotal, como pedras memoriais para os filhos de Israel, como o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.8 Fez o peitoral, trabalho artesanal, como o colete sacerdotal: de linho fino trançado, de fios de ouro e de fios de tecidos azul, roxo e vermelho.9 Era quadrado, com um palmo de comprimento e um palmo de largura, e dobrado em dois.10 Em seguida fixaram nele quatro fileiras de pedras preciosas. Na primeira fileira havia um rubi, um topázio e um berilo;11 na segunda, uma turquesa, uma safira e um diamante;12 na terceira, um jacinto, uma ágata e uma ametista;13 na quarta, um crisólito, um ônix e um jaspe, todas fixadas em filigranas de ouro.14 Havia doze pedras, uma para cada nome dos filhos de Israel, cada uma gravada como um lapidador grava um selo, com o nome de uma das doze tribos.15 Para o peitoral fizeram correntes trançadas de ouro puro, como cordas.16 De ouro fizeram duas filigranas e duas argolas, as quais prenderam às duas extremidades do peitoral.17 Prenderam as duas correntes de ouro às duas argolas nas extremidades do peitoral,18 e as outras extremidades das correntes, às duas filigranas, unindo-as às peças das ombreiras do colete sacerdotal, na parte da frente.19 Fizeram outras duas argolas de ouro e as prenderam às duas extremidades do peitoral na borda interna, próxima ao colete sacerdotal.20 Depois fizeram mais duas argolas de ouro e as prenderam na parte inferior das ombreiras, na frente do colete sacerdotal, próximas da costura, logo acima do cinturão do colete sacerdotal.21 Amarraram as argolas do peitoral às argolas do colete com um cordão azul, ligando-o ao cinturão, para que o peitoral não se separasse do colete sacerdotal, como o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.22 Fizeram o manto do colete sacerdotal inteiramente de fios de tecido azul, obra de tecelão,23 com uma abertura no centro. Ao redor dessa abertura havia uma dobra tecida, como uma gola, para que não se rasgasse.24 Fizeram romãs de linho fino trançado e de fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho em volta da borda do manto.25 Fizeram ainda pequenos sinos de ouro puro, atando-os em volta da borda, entre as romãs.26 Os sinos e as romãs se alternavam por toda a borda do manto. Tudo feito para ser usado ao se ministrar, como o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.27 Para Arão e seus filhos fizeram de linho fino as túnicas, obra de tecelão,28 o turbante, os gorros e os calções, de linho fino trançado.29 O cinturão também era de linho fino trançado e de fios de tecido azul, roxo e vermelho, obra de bordador, como o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.30 Fizeram de ouro puro o diadema sagrado, e gravaram nele como se grava um selo: Consagrado ao Senhor.31 Depois usaram um cordão azul para prendê-lo na parte de cima do turbante, como o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.32 Assim foi encerrada toda a obra do tabernáculo, a Tenda do Encontro. Os israelitas fizeram tudo conforme o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.33 Então trouxeram o tabernáculo a Moisés; a tenda e todos os seus utensílios, os ganchos, as molduras, os travessões, as colunas e as bases,34 a cobertura de pele de carneiro tingida de vermelho, a cobertura de couro e o véu protetor,35 a arca da aliança com as suas varas e a tampa,36 a mesa com todos os seus utensílios e os pães da Presença,37 o candelabro de ouro puro com a sua fileira de lâmpadas e todos os seus utensílios e o óleo para iluminação,38 o altar de ouro, o óleo da unção, o incenso aromático e a cortina de entrada para a tenda,39 o altar de bronze com a sua grelha, as suas varas e todos os seus utensílios, a bacia e a sua base,40 as cortinas externas do pátio com as suas colunas e bases e a cortina para a entrada do pátio, as cordas e estacas da tenda do pátio, todos os utensílios para o tabernáculo, a Tenda do Encontro,41 e as vestes litúrgicas para ministrar no Lugar Santo, tanto as vestes sagradas para Arão, o sacerdote, como as vestes de seus filhos, para quando servissem como sacerdotes.42 Os israelitas fizeram todo o trabalho conforme o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.43 Moisés inspecionou a obra e viu que tinham feito tudo como o Senhor tinha ordenado. Então Moisés os abençoou.

1 And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made finely wrought garments, for ministering in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as Yahweh commanded Moses.2 And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.3 And they beat the gold into thin plates so that they could cut out wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, the work of the skillful workman.4 They made shoulder-pieces for it, joined together; at the two ends it was joined together.5 And the skillfully woven band, that was on it, with which to gird it on, was of the same piece [and] like the work of it; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; as Yahweh commanded Moses.6 And they wrought the onyx stones, enclosed in settings of gold, engraved with the engravings of a signet, according to the names of the sons of Israel.7 And he put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, to be stones of memorial for the sons of Israel; as Yahweh commanded Moses.8 And he made the breastplate, the work of the skillful workman, like the work of an ephod; of gold, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.9 It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double: a span was its length, and a span its width, being double.10 And they set in it four rows of stones. A row of sardius, topaz, and carbuncle was the first row;11 and the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond;12 and the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;13 and the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jaspar: they were enclosed in enclosings of gold in their settings.14 And the stones were according to the names of the sons of Israel, twelve, according to their names; like the engravings of a signet, every one according to his name, for the twelve tribes.15 And they made on the breastplate chains like cords, of wreathed work of pure gold.16 And they made two settings of gold, and two gold rings, and put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.17 And they put the two wreathed chains of gold in the two rings at the ends of the breastplate.18 And the [other] two ends of the two wreathed chains they put on the two settings, and put them on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, in its forepart.19 And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on its edge, which was toward the side of the ephod inward.20 And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two shoulder-pieces of the ephod underneath, in its forepart, close by its coupling, above the skillfully woven band of the ephod.21 And they bound the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as Yahweh commanded Moses.22 And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.23 And the hole of the robe in the midst of it, as the hole of a coat of mail, with a binding round about the hole of it, that it should not be rent.24 And they made on the skirts of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and of scarlet.25 And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates on the skirts of the robe round about, between the pomegranates;26 a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, on the skirts of the robe round about, to minister in; as Yahweh commanded Moses.27 And they made the coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,28 and the turban of fine linen, and the goodly head-tires of fine linen, and the linen breeches of fine twined linen,29 and the belt of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, the work of the embroiderer; as Yahweh commanded Moses.30 And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote on it a writing, like the engravings of a signet, HOLY TO YAHWEH.31 And they tied to it a lace of blue, to fasten it on the turban above; as Yahweh commanded Moses.32 Thus was finished all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting: and the sons of Israel did according to all that Yahweh commanded Moses; so they did.33 And they brought the tabernacle to Moses, the Tent, and all its furniture, its clasps, its boards, it bars, and its pillars, and it sockets;34 and the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of sealskins, and the veil of the screen;35 the ark of the testimony, and its poles, and the mercy-seat;36 the table, all its vessels, and the showbread;37 the pure lampstand, its lamps, even the lamps to be set in order, and all its vessels, and the oil for the light;38 and the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the screen for the door of the Tent;39 the bronze altar, and its grating of bronze, its poles, and all its vessels, the basin and its base;40 the hangings of the court, its pillars, and its sockets, and the screen for the gate of the court, its cords, and its pins, and all the instruments of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting;41 the finely wrought garments for ministering in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to serve in the priest's office.42 According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so the sons of Israel did all the work.43 And Moses saw all the work, and, look, they had done it; as Yahweh had commanded, even so they had done it: and Moses blessed them.
