1 And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,2 Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them, When a man will accomplish a vow, the persons will be for Yahweh by your estimation.3 And your estimation will be of the male from twenty years old even to sixty years old, even your estimation will be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.4 And if it is a female, then your estimation will be thirty shekels.5 And if it is from five years old even to twenty years old, then your estimation will be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.6 And if it is from a month old even to five years old, then your estimation will be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female your estimation will be three shekels of silver.7 And if it is from sixty years old and upward; if it is a male, then your estimation will be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.8 But if he is poorer than your estimation, then he will be set before the priest, and the priest will value him; according to the ability of him who vowed will the priest value him.9 And if it is a beast, of which men offer an oblation to Yahweh, all that any man gives of such to Yahweh will be holy.10 He will not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he will at all change beast for beast, then both it and that for which it is changed will be holy.11 And if it is any unclean beast, of which they do not offer an oblation to Yahweh, then he will set the beast before the priest;12 and the priest will value it, whether it is good or bad: as you the priest value it, so it will be.13 But if he will indeed redeem it, then he will add the fifth part of it to your estimation.14 And when a man will sanctify his house to be holy to Yahweh, then the priest will estimate it, whether it is good or bad: as the priest will estimate it, so it will stand.15 And if he who sanctified it will redeem his house, then he will add the fifth part of the money of your estimation to it, and it will be his.16 And if a man will sanctify to Yahweh part of the field of his possession, then your estimation will be according to its sowing: the sowing of a homer of barley [will be valued] at fifty shekels of silver.17 If he sanctifies his field from the year of jubilee, according to your estimation it will stand.18 But if he sanctifies his field after the jubilee, then the priest will reckon to him the money according to the years that remain to the year of jubilee; and an abatement will be made from your estimation.19 And if he who sanctified the field will indeed redeem it, then he will add the fifth part of the money of your estimation to it, and it will be assured to him.20 And if he will not redeem the field, or if he has sold the field to another man, it will not be redeemed anymore:21 but the field, when it goes out in the jubilee, will be holy to Yahweh, as a field devoted; its possession will be the priest's.22 And if he sanctifies to Yahweh a field which he has bought, which is not of the field of his possession;23 then the priest will reckon to him the worth of your estimation to the year of jubilee: and he will give your estimation in that day, as a holy thing to Yahweh.24 In the year of jubilee the field will return to him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land belongs.25 And all your estimations will be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs will be the shekel.26 Only the firstborn among beasts, which is made a firstborn to Yahweh, no man will sanctify it; whether it is ox or sheep, it is Yahweh's.27 And if it is of an unclean beast, then he will ransom it according to your estimation, and will add to it the fifth part of it: or if it is not redeemed, then it will be sold according to your estimation.28 Notwithstanding, no devoted thing, that a man will devote to Yahweh of all that he has, whether of man or beast, or of the field of his possession, will be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy to Yahweh.29 No one devoted, that will be devoted from among man, will be ransomed; he will surely be put to death.30 And all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land, of the fruit of the tree, is Yahweh's: it is holy to Yahweh.31 And if a man will redeem anything of his tithe, he will add to it the fifth part of it.32 And all the tithe of the herd or the flock, whatever passes under the rod, the tenth will be holy to Yahweh.33 He will not search whether it is good or bad, neither will he change it: and if he changes it at all, then both it and that for which it is changed will be holy; it will not be redeemed.34 These are the commandments, which Yahweh commanded Moses for the sons of Israel in mount Sinai.

1 Disse também o SENHOR a Moisés:2 "Diga o seguinte aos israelitas: Se alguém fizer um voto especial, dedicando pessoas ao Senhor, faça-o conforme o devido valor;3 atribua aos homens entre vinte e sessenta anos o valor de seiscentos gramas de prata, com base no peso padrão do santuário;4 e, se for mulher, atribua-lhe o valor de trezentos e sessenta gramas.5 Se for alguém que tenha entre cinco e vinte anos, atribua aos homens o valor de duzentos e quarenta gramas e às mulheres o valor de cento e vinte gramas.6 Se for alguém que tenha entre um mês e cinco anos de idade, atribua aos meninos o valor de sessenta gramas de prata e às meninas o valor de trinta e seis gramas de prata.7 Se for alguém que tenha de sessenta anos para cima, atribua aos homens o valor de cento e oitenta gramas e às mulheres o valor de cento e vinte gramas.8 Se quem fizer o voto for pobre demais para pagar o valor especificado, apresentará a pessoa ao sacerdote, que estabelecerá o valor de acordo com as possibilidades do homem que fez o voto.9 "Se o que ele prometeu mediante voto for um animal aceitável como oferta ao Senhor, um animal assim dado ao Senhor torna-se santo.10 Ele não poderá trocá-lo nem substituir um animal ruim por um bom, nem um animal bom por um ruim; caso troque um animal por outro, tanto o substituto quanto o substituído se tornarão santos.11 Se o que ele prometeu mediante voto for um animal impuro, não aceitável como oferta ao Senhor, o animal será apresentado ao sacerdote,12 que o avaliará por suas qualidades. A avaliação do sacerdote determinará o valor do animal.13 Se o dono desejar resgatar o animal, terá que acrescentar um quinto ao seu valor.14 "Se um homem consagrar a sua casa ao Senhor, o sacerdote avaliará a casa por suas qualidades. A avaliação do sacerdote determinará o valor da casa.15 Se o homem que consagrar a sua casa quiser resgatá-la, terá que acrescentar um quinto ao seu valor, e a casa voltará a ser sua.16 "Se um homem consagrar ao Senhor parte das terras da sua família, sua avaliação será de acordo com a semeadura: seiscentos gramas de prata para cada barril de semente de cevada.17 Se consagrar a sua terra durante o ano do jubileu, o valor será integral.18 Mas, se a consagrar depois do Jubileu, o sacerdote calculará o valor de acordo com o número de anos que faltarem para o próximo ano do jubileu, e o valor será reduzido.19 Se o homem que consagrar a sua terra desejar resgatá-la, terá que acrescentar um quinto ao seu valor, e a terra voltará a ser sua.20 Mas se não a resgatar, ou se a tiver vendido, não poderá mais ser resgatada;21 quando a terra for liberada no Jubileu, será santa, consagrada ao Senhor, e se tornará propriedade dos sacerdotes.22 "Se um homem consagrar ao Senhor terras que tenha comprado, terras que não fazem parte da propriedade da sua família,23 o sacerdote determinará o valor de acordo com o tempo que falta para o ano do jubileu; o homem pagará o valor no mesmo dia, consagrando-o ao Senhor.24 No ano do jubileu as terras serão devolvidas àquele de quem ele as comprou.25 Todos os valores serão calculados com base no peso padrão do santuário, que são doze gramas.26 "Ninguém poderá consagrar a primeira cria de um animal, pois já pertence ao Senhor; seja cria de vaca, seja de cabra, seja de ovelha, pertence ao Senhor.27 Mas se for a cria de um animal impuro, poderá resgatá-la pelo valor estabelecido, acrescentando um quinto a esse valor. Se não for resgatada, será vendida pelo valor estabelecido.28 "Todavia, nada que um homem possua e consagre ao Senhor, seja homem, seja animal, sejam terras de sua propriedade, poderá ser vendido ou resgatado; todas as coisas assim consagradas são santíssimas ao Senhor.29 "Nenhuma pessoa consagrada para a destruição poderá ser resgatada; terá que ser executada.30 "Todos os dízimos da terra, seja dos cereais, seja das frutas das árvores, pertencem ao Senhor; são consagrados ao Senhor.31 Se um homem desejar resgatar parte do seu dízimo, terá que acrescentar um quinto ao seu valor.32 O dízimo dos seus rebanhos, um de cada dez animais que passem debaixo da vara do pastor, será consagrado ao Senhor.33 O dono não poderá retirar os bons dentre os ruins, nem fazer qualquer troca. Se fizer alguma troca, tanto o animal quanto o substituto se tornarão consagrados e não poderão ser resgatados".34 São esses os mandamentos que o Senhor ordenou a Moisés no monte Sinai para os israelitas.
