1 And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,2 Moreover, you will say to the sons of Israel, Any man of the sons of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel, that gives of his seed to Molech; he will surely be put to death: the people of the land will stone him with stones.3 I also will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he has given of his seed to Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.4 And if the people at the land do at all hide their eyes from that man, when he gives of his seed to Molech, and do not put him to death;5 then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all those prostituting after him, to prostitute with Molech, from among their people.6 And the soul who turns to the spiritists or the wizards, to prostitute after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be{+} holy; for I am Yahweh your{+} God.8 And you{+} will keep my statutes, and do them: I am Yahweh who sanctifies you{+}.9 For any man who curses his father or his mother will surely be put to death: he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood will be on him.10 And the man who commits adultery with another man's wife--who commits adultery with his fellow man's wife--the adulterer and the adulteress will surely be put to death.11 And the man who has any sex with his father's wife has uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them will surely be put to death; their blood will be on them.12 And if a man has any sex with his daughter-in-law, both of them will surely be put to death: they did something perverted; their blood will be on them.13 And if a man has any sex with a man, both of them have done something disgusting: they will surely be put to death; their blood will be on them.14 And if a man has any sex with his wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they will be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there will be no wickedness among you{+}.15 And if a man has any sex with an animal, he will surely be put to death: and you{+} will slay the beast.16 And if a woman has any sex with an animal, you will kill the woman, and the animal: they will surely be put to death; their blood will be on them.17 And if a man will have any sex with his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, it is a shameful thing; and they will be cut off in the sight of the sons of their people: he has uncovered his sister's nakedness; he will bear his iniquity.18 And if a man will have sex with a menstruating woman; he has made naked her fountain, and she has uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them will be cut off from among their people.19 And you will not have any sex with your mother's sister, nor of your father's sister; for he has made naked his near kin: they will bear their iniquity.20 And if a man will have any sex with his uncle's wife, he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they will bear their sin; they will die childless.21 And if a man will have any sex with his brother's wife, it is impurity: he has uncovered his brother's nakedness; they will be childless.22 You{+} will therefore keep all my statutes, and all my ordinances, and do them; that the land, where I am bringing you{+} to dwell in it, does not vomit you{+} out.23 And you{+} will not walk in the customs of the nation, which I am casting out before you{+}: for they did all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.24 But I have said to you{+}, You{+} will inherit their land, and I will give it to you{+} to possess it, a land flowing with milk and honey: I am Yahweh your{+} God, who has separated you{+} from the peoples.25 You{+} will therefore make a distinction between the clean beast and the unclean, and between the unclean fowl and the clean: and you{+} will not make your{+} souls detestable by beast, or by bird, or by anything with which the ground teems, which I have separated from you{+} as unclean.26 And you{+} will be holy to me: for I, Yahweh, am holy, and have set you{+} apart from the peoples, that you{+} should be mine.27 And a man or a woman among them, who is a spiritist or a wizard, will surely be put to death: they will stone them with stones; their blood will be on them.

1 Disse o Senhor a Moisés:2 "Diga aos israelitas: Qualquer israelita ou estrangeiro residente em Israel que entregar um dos seus filhos a Moloque, terá que ser executado. O povo da terra o apedrejará.3 Voltarei o meu rosto contra ele e o eliminarei do meio do seu povo; pois deu os seus filhos a Moloque, contaminando assim o meu santuário e profanando o meu santo nome.4 Se o povo deliberadamente fechar os olhos quando alguém entregar um dos seus filhos a Moloque, e deixar de executá-lo,5 voltarei o meu rosto contra aquele homem e contra o seu clã e eliminarei do meio do seu povo tanto ele quanto todos os que o seguem, prostituindo-se com Moloque.6 "Voltarei o meu rosto contra aquele que procurar médiuns e espíritas para segui-los, prostituindo-se com eles. Eu o eliminarei do meio do seu povo.7 "Consagrem-se, porém, e sejam santos, porque eu sou o Senhor, o Deus de vocês.8 Obedeçam aos meus decretos e pratiquem-nos. Eu sou o Senhor que os santifica.9 "Se alguém amaldiçoar seu pai ou sua mãe, terá que ser executado. Por ter amaldiçoado o seu pai ou a sua mãe, merece a morte.10 "Se um homem cometer adultério com a mulher de outro homem, com a mulher do seu próximo, tanto o adúltero quanto a adúltera terão que ser executados.11 "Se um homem se deitar com a mulher do seu pai, desonrou seu pai. Tanto o homem quanto a mulher terão que ser executados, pois merecem a morte.12 "Se um homem se deitar com a sua nora, ambos terão que ser executados. O que fizeram é depravação; merecem a morte.13 "Se um homem se deitar com outro homem como quem se deita com uma mulher, ambos praticaram um ato repugnante. Terão que ser executados, pois merecem a morte.14 "Se um homem tomar uma mulher e a mãe dela, comete perversidade. Tanto ele quanto elas serão queimados com fogo, para que não haja perversidade entre vocês.15 "Se um homem tiver relações sexuais com um animal, terá que ser executado, e vocês matarão também o animal.16 "Se uma mulher se aproximar de algum animal para ajuntar-se com ele, vocês matarão a mulher e o animal. Ambos terão que ser executados, pois merecem a morte.17 "Se um homem tomar por mulher sua irmã, filha de seu pai ou de sua mãe, e se envolver sexualmente com ela, pratica um ato vergonhoso. Serão eliminados à vista de todo o povo. Desonrou sua irmã e sofrerá as conseqüências da sua iniqüidade.18 "Se um homem se deitar com uma mulher durante a menstruação e com ela se envolver sexualmente, ambos serão eliminados do meio do seu povo, pois expuseram o sangramento dela.19 "Não se envolva sexualmente com a irmã de sua mãe, nem com a irmã de seu pai; pois quem se envolver sexualmente com uma parenta próxima sofrerá as conseqüências da sua iniqüidade.20 "Se um homem se deitar com a mulher do seu tio, desonrou seu tio. Eles sofrerão as conseqüências do seu pecado; morrerão sem filhos.21 "Se um homem tomar por mulher a mulher do seu irmão, comete impureza; desonrou seu irmão. Ficarão sem filhos.22 "Obedeçam a todos os meus decretos e leis e pratiquem-nos, para que a terra para onde os estou levando para habitarem não os vomite.23 Não sigam os costumes dos povos que vou expulsar de diante de vocês. Por terem feito todas essas coisas, causam-me repugnância.24 Mas a vocês prometi que herdarão a terra deles; eu a darei a vocês como herança, terra que mana leite e mel. Eu sou o Senhor, o Deus de vocês, que os separou dentre os povos.25 "Portanto, façam separação entre animais puros e impuros e entre aves puras e impuras. Não se contaminem com animal, ou ave, ou com qualquer criatura que se move rente ao chão, os quais separei de vocês por serem eles impuros.26 Vocês serão santos para mim, porque eu, o Senhor, sou santo, e os separei dentre os povos para serem meus.27 "Os homens ou mulheres que, entre vocês, forem médiuns ou espíritas, terão que ser executados. Serão apedrejados, pois merecem a morte".
