| 3 | Thou shalt also take of them a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts. | És végy ki innét szám szerint keveset, és kösd be azokat ruhád csücskébe; |
| 4 | Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire: from which a fire shall come forth into all the house of Israel. | És ezekbõl ismét végy ki, és vesd azokat a tûz közepébe és égesd meg a tûzben; ebbõl megyen tûz Izráel egész házára. |

| 6 | And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are around her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them. | De pártos volt törvényeim iránt, gonoszabbul, mint a pogányok, és rendeléseim iránt inkább, mint a tartományok, a melyek körülte vannak, mert törvényeimet megútálták, és rendeléseimben nem jártak. |
| 7 | Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are around you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are around you: | Azért így szól az Úr Isten: A miért ti pártosabbak valátok, mint a pogányok, a kik körültetek vannak, rendeléseimben nem jártatok és törvényeimet nem cselekedtétek, sõt csak a pogányok törvényei szerint is, a kik körültetek vannak, nem cselekedtetek: |
| 8 | Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations. | Ezokért így szól az Úr Isten: Ímé én is ellened leszek, és teszek közötted ítéletet a pogányok szeme láttára; |
| 9 | And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and the like to which I will not do any more, because of all thy abominations. | És cselekszem rajtad azt, mit soha nem cselekedtem és minémût nem cselekszem többé, - minden te útálatosságidért. |
| 10 | Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds. | Azért az apák egyék meg fiaikat te közötted, és a fiak egyék meg apáikat, és cselekszem rajtad ítéletet, és szétszórom minden maradékodat a szél minden irányában. |

| 13 | Thus shall my anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them. | És teljessé lesz haragom s nyugtatom rajtok búsulásomat s vígasztalást veszek; és megértik, hogy én, az Úr szóltam buzgó szerelmemben, mikor betöltöm búsulásomat rajtok. |
| 14 | Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are around thee, in the sight of all that pass by. | És teszlek pusztasággá és gyalázattá a pogányok között, a kik körülted vannak, minden melletted elmenõ szeme láttára. |
| 15 | So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment to the nations that are around thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it. | És leszel gyalázat és csúfság, példa és eliszonyodás a pogányoknak, a kik körülted vannak, mikor ítéletet tartok fölötted haraggal és búsulással és búsult feddésekkel, én, az Úr mondottam; |
