| 1 | Afterward he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tabernacle. | És bevitt engem a templomba, és megméré a gyámoszlopokat, hat sing széles vala egyfelõl és hat sing széles másfelõl a gyámoszlopok szélessége. |
| 2 | And the breadth of the door was ten cubits; and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured the length of it forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits. | És az ajtó szélessége tíz sing vala, és az ajtó oldal[falai] öt sing egyfelõl és öt sing másfelõl; és megméré hosszúságát is negyven singre, szélességét pedig húsz singre. |
| 3 | Then he went inward, and measured the post of the door, two cubits; and the door, six cubits; and the breadth of the door, seven cubits. | És beméne belsejébe, és megméré az ajtó gyámoszlopait két singre, és az ajtót hat singre, és az ajtó oldalfalait hét singre. |
| 4 mapa | So he measured the length of it twenty cubits; and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said to me, This is the most holy place. | És megméré hosszúságát húsz singre, és szélességét húsz singre a templom felé, és mondá nékem: Ez a szentek szentje. |
| 5 | Afterward he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of every side-chamber, four cubits, round the house on every side. | És megméré a ház falát hat singre, és az oldalépület szélességét négy singre a ház körül mindenfelõl. |
| 6 | And the side-chambers were three, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which was of the house for the side-chambers around, that they might have hold, but they had not hold in the wall of the house. | És az oldalkamarák, egyik kamara a másikon, harminczan valának három sorban, és a háznak azon falához nyúlának, mely az oldalkamarák felõl vala, köröskörül, hogy [azon] erõsen álljanak, de nem magába a falba valának erõsítve. |
| 7 | And there was an enlarging, and a winding about still upward to the side-chambers: for the winding about of the house went still upward around the house; therefore the breadth of the house was still upward, and so increased from the lowest chamber to the highest by the midst. | És vala kiszélesedése és megnagyobbodása az oldalkamaráknak a magasságban fölfelé, mivel megnagyobbodása vala a háznak fölfelé a magasságban köröskörül a házon, ezért lõn kiszélesedése az épületnek fölfelé. És az alsó sorról menének föl a felsõhöz [és] a középsõhöz. |
| 8 | I saw also the hight of the house around: the foundations of the side-chambers were a full reed of six great cubits. | És láték a háznál valami magasságot köröskörül, fundamentoma ez az oldalkamaráknak, egy teljes pálczányi, hat singnyire a fal tövének párkányáig. |
| 9 | The thickness of the wall, which was for the side-chamber without, was five cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side-chambers that were within. | Az oldalkamara külsõ falának szélessége pedig öt singnyi vala. És a mi [üresen] maradt a ház oldalkamrái között, |
| 10 | And between the chambers was the width of twenty cubits around the house on every side. | És a kamarák közt húsz singnyi szélesség vala a ház körül köröskörül. |
| 11 | And the doors of the side-chambers were towards the place that was left, one door towards the north, and another door towards the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits around. | És az oldalépületnek ajtaja az [üresen] maradt [hely] felé vala, egyik ajtó északra és a másik ajtó délre, és a [szabadon] hagyott hely szélessége öt singnyi vala köröskörül. |
| 12 | Now the building that was before the separate place at the end towards the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick around, and its length ninety cubits. | És az épület, mely az elkülönített hely elõtt, nyugot felé vala, hetven singnyi széles vala, s az épület fala öt singnyi széles köröskörül, hosszúsága pedig kilenczven sing. |
| 13 | So he measured the house, a hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with its walls, a hundred cubits long; | És méré a háznak hosszát száz singre, és az elkülönített helyet s az épületet és falait száz sing hosszúságra; |
| 14 | Also the breadth of the face of the house, and of the separate place towards the east, a hundred cubits. | És a ház és az elkülönített hely elejének szélességét kelet felé száz singre. |
| 15 | And he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which was behind it, and its galleries on the one side and on the other side, a hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court; | És méré az épület hosszúságát az elkülönített hely felé, mely ennek háta mögött vala, és ennek folyosóit mind egyfelõl, mind másfelõl száz singre. És [magában] a templomban és a belsõ [helyen] és a külsõ tornáczban. |
| 16 | The door posts, and the narrow windows, and the galleries around on their three stories, over against the door, ceiled with wood around, and from the ground up to the windows, and the windows were covered; | A küszöbök és a szoros ablakok és a folyosók valának mind hármuk körül, szemben a küszöbbel, simított fadeszkákból köröskörül. A földtõl az ablakokig, az ablakok pedig befedve valának. |
| 17 | To that above the door, even to the inner house, and without, and by all the wall around within and without, by measure. | Az ajtónak felsõ részéig és a belsõ házig és kifelé és az egész falon köröskörül a belsõ és külsõ helyen [minden] mérték szerint. |
| 18 | And it was made with cherubim and palm-trees, so that a palm-tree was between a cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces; | Készítve valának továbbá Kérubok és pálmafaragások, és mindenik pálmafaragás vala két Kérub között, és mindenik Kérubnak két orczája vala. |
| 19 | So that the face of a man was towards the palm-tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion towards the palm-tree on the other side: it was made through all the house around. | És emberorcza [néz] vala a pálmafaragásról egyfelõl, és oroszlánorcza a másik pálmára másfelõl. Így vala készítve az egész házon köröskörül. |
| 20 | From the ground to above the door were cherubim and palm-trees made, and on the wall of the temple. | A földtõl fogva az ajtó felsõ részéig Kérubok és pálmafaragások valának készítve a falon. |
| 21 mapa | The posts of the temple were squared, and the face of the sanctuary; the appearance of the one as the appearance of the other. | A szenthelynek ajtófélfái négyszegûek valának, és a szentek szentje elõtt vala mint egy oltárnak a formája. |
| 22 | The altar of wood was three cubits high, and its length two cubits; and its corners, and its length, and its walls, were of wood: and he said to me, This is the table that is before the LORD. | Fából, három sing magas és két sing hosszú, szegletei valának és talpa, és falai fából valának. És mondá nékem: Ez az asztal, mely az Úr elõtt áll. |
| 23 mapa | And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors. | És kettõs ajtói valának a szenthelynek és a szentek szentjének, |
| 24 | And the doors had two leaves each, two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other door. | És kettõs ajtói valának az ajtószárnyaknak, két forgó ajtóik, kettõ az egyik ajtószárnyban és két ajtó a másikban. |
| 25 | And there were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubim and palm-trees, as were made upon the walls; and there were thick planks upon the face of the porch without. | És készítve valának rajtok, a szenthely ajtóin, Kérubok és pálmák, mint valának készítve a falakon, és faküszöb vala a tornácz elõtt kivül; |
| 26 | And there were narrow windows and palm-trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch, and upon the side-chambers of the house, and thick planks. | És szoros ablakok és pálmák valának mind egy- s mind másfelõl a tornácz oldalfalain. Így voltak a ház oldalkamarái és a gerendák. |
