2 \54:1\When the Ziphites came and said to Saul, Is not David keeping himself secret among us?

3 \54:1\Let your name be my salvation, O God; let my cause be judged by your strength.

4 \54:2\Let my prayer come before you, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.

5 \54:3\For men who are going after me have come out against me, violent men are purposing to take my soul; they have not put God before their eyes. (Selah.)

6 \54:4\See, God is my helper: the Lord is the great supporter of my soul.

7 \54:5\Let the evil works of my haters come back on them again; let them be cut off by your good faith.

8 \54:6\Freely will I make my offerings to you; I will give praise to your name, O Lord, for it is good.

9 \54:7\Because it has been my saviour from all my trouble; and my eyes have seen the punishment of my haters.

2 Lorsque les Ziphiens vinrent dire à Saül: David n'est-il pas caché parmi nous?

3 O Dieu, sauve-moi par ton nom, et fais-moi justice par ta puissance!

4 O Dieu, écoute ma prière, prête l'oreille aux paroles de ma bouche!

5 Car des étrangers se sont élevés contre moi, et des hommes violents cherchent ma vie; ils n'ont point mis Dieu devant leurs yeux. Sélah (pause).

6 Voici, Dieu est mon aide, le Seigneur est parmi ceux

7 Il fera retomber le mal sur mes ennemis. Selon ta fidélité, détruis-les.

8 Je t'offrirai des sacrifices volontaires. Je célébrerai ton nom, ô Éternel! car il est bon.

9 Car il m'a délivré de toutes mes détresses, et mon œil a contemplé avec joie mes ennemis.
