De unde-mi va veni ajutorul?2 Ajutorul îmi vine dela Domnul, care a făcut cerurile şi pămîntul.3 Da, El nu va îngădui să ţi se clatine piciorul; Cel ce te păzeşte, nu va dormita.4 Iată că nu dormitează, nici nu doarme Cel ce păzeşte pe Israel.5 Domnul este Păzitorul tău, Domnul este umbra ta pe mîna ta cea dreaptă.6 De aceea nu te va bate soarele ziua, nici luna noaptea.7 Domnul te va păzi de orice rău, îţi va păzi sufletul.8 Domnul te va păzi la plecare şi la venire, de acum şi pînă în veac.

2 My help comes from Yahweh,

who made heaven and earth.

3 He will not allow your foot to be moved.

He who keeps you will not slumber.

4 Behold, he who keeps Israel

will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 Yahweh is your keeper.

Yahweh is your shade on your right hand.

6 The sun will not harm you by day,

nor the moon by night.

7 Yahweh will keep you from all evil.

He will keep your soul.

8 Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in,

from this time forward, and forever more.
