1 And if any one sin, in that he heareth the voice of adjuration, he being a witness, whether he hath seen or known, if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity: 2 or if any one touch any unclean thing, whether it be the carcase of an unclean beast, or the carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and it be hidden from him, and he be unclean, then he shall be guilty: 3 or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever his uncleanness be wherewith he is unclean, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty: 4 or if any one swear rashly with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall utter rashly with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these things: 5 and it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that wherein he hath sinned: 6 and he shall bring his guilt offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin. 7 And if his means suffice not for a lamb, then he shall bring his guilt offering for that wherein he hath sinned, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering. 8 And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off its head from its neck, but shall not divide it asunder: 9 and he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar: it is a sin offering. 10 And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the ordinance: and the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin which he hath sinned, and he shall be forgiven. 11 But if his means suffice not for two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he shall bring his oblation for that wherein he hath sinned, the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering. 12 And he shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it as the memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, upon the offerings of the LORD made by fire: it is a sin offering. 13 And the priest shall make atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in any of these things, and he shall be forgiven: and the remnant shall be the priest’s, as the meal offering. 14 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 15 If any one commit a trespass, and sin unwittingly, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring his guilt offering unto the LORD, a ram without blemish out of the flock, according to thy estimation in silver by shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a guilt offering: 16 and he shall make restitution for that which he hath done amiss in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering, and he shall be forgiven. 17 And if any one sin, and do any of the things which the LORD hath commanded not to be done; though he knew it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity. 18 And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, according to thy estimation, for a guilt offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning the thing wherein he erred unwittingly and knew it not, and he shall be forgiven. 19 It is a guilt offering: he is certainly guilty before the LORD.

1 — Se alguém pecar porque, sendo testemunha de um fato que viu ou ficou sabendo, não o quis revelar, mesmo sob ameaça de maldição, essa pessoa levará a sua iniquidade. 2 Se alguém tocar em alguma coisa impura, como o cadáver de um animal impuro, seja de um animal selvagem, de um animal doméstico ou de um animal que rasteja pelo chão, ainda que não se dê conta disso, e se tornar impuro, então será culpado. 3 Se tocar a impureza de uma pessoa, seja qual for a impureza com que se faça impuro, e não se der conta disso, mas ficar sabendo depois, será culpado. 4 Se alguém jurar de forma precipitada, dizendo que vai fazer alguma coisa má ou boa, seja o que for que alguém pronuncie de forma precipitada com juramento, e ele não se der conta disso, mas ficar sabendo depois, culpado será numa destas coisas. 5 Quem for culpado numa destas coisas, confessará aquilo em que pecou. 6 Como sua oferta pela culpa, pelo pecado que cometeu, essa pessoa trará ao Senhor, do gado miúdo, uma cordeira ou uma cabrita como oferta pelo pecado; assim, o sacerdote, por essa pessoa, fará expiação do seu pecado.

7 — Se as suas posses não lhe permitirem trazer uma cordeira, trará ao Senhor, como oferta pela culpa, pelo pecado que cometeu, duas rolinhas ou dois pombinhos: um como oferta pelo pecado, e o outro como holocausto. 8 Entregará as duas aves ao sacerdote, que primeiro oferecerá a ave que é oferta pelo pecado. O sacerdote destroncará a cabeça da ave, sem a separar do pescoço. 9 Do sangue da oferta pelo pecado aspergirá sobre a parede do altar, e o restante do sangue fará correr na base do altar; é oferta pelo pecado. 10 E da outra ave fará um holocausto, conforme o estabelecido. Assim, o sacerdote, por essa pessoa, fará oferta pelo pecado que ela cometeu, e o pecado lhe será perdoado.

11 — Porém, se as suas posses não lhe permitirem trazer duas rolinhas ou dois pombinhos, então essa pessoa que pecou trará, por sua oferta, dois litros da melhor farinha como oferta pelo pecado; não derramará azeite sobre a farinha, nem lhe porá em cima incenso, pois é oferta pelo pecado. 12 Entregará a oferta ao sacerdote, e o sacerdote pegará um punhado da farinha como porção memorial e a queimará sobre o altar, em cima das ofertas queimadas ao Senhor; é oferta pelo pecado. 13 Assim, o sacerdote, por essa pessoa, fará oferta pelo pecado que cometeu em alguma destas coisas, e o pecado lhe será perdoado. O restante da farinha será do sacerdote, como no caso da oferta de cereais.

14 O Senhor disse a Moisés:

15 — Se alguém cometer ofensa e pecar de forma involuntária nas coisas sagradas do Senhor, trará ao Senhor, por oferta, do rebanho, um carneiro sem defeito, conforme avaliação em prata, segundo o peso padrão do santuário, como oferta pela culpa. 16 Assim, restituirá o que tirou das coisas sagradas, e ainda acrescentará o seu quinto, e o dará ao sacerdote; assim, o sacerdote, com o carneiro da oferta pela culpa, fará expiação por essa pessoa, e o pecado lhe será perdoado.

17 — Se alguma pessoa pecar e fizer contra algum dos mandamentos do Senhor aquilo que não se deve fazer, ainda que não tenha se dado conta disso, será culpada mesmo assim e levará a sua iniquidade. 18 E do rebanho trará ao sacerdote um carneiro sem defeito, conforme avaliação feita, para oferta pela culpa, e o sacerdote, por essa pessoa, fará expiação no que se refere ao erro que, de forma involuntária, cometeu, e lhe será perdoado. 19 É oferta pela culpa, pois certamente se tornou culpada diante do Senhor.
