Provérbios 29

1 အ​ထပ်​ထပ်​ဆုံး​မ​ခြင်း​ကို​ခံ​သော်​လည်း၊ မိ​မိ​လည်​ပင်း​ကို ခိုင်​မာ​စေ​သော​သူ​သည် ကိုး​ကွယ်​ရာ​မ​ရ၊ ရုတ်​တ​ရက် ပျက်​စီး​လိမ့်​မည်။ 2 ဖြောင့်​မတ်​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် အ​ခွင့်​ရ​သော​အ​ခါ၊ ပြည်​သူ​ပြည်​သား​တို့​သည် ဝမ်း​မြောက်​တတ်​ကြ၏။ မ​တ​ရား​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် အုပ်​စိုး​သော​အ​ခါ​မူ​ကား၊ ပြည်​သူ​ပြည်​သား​တို့​သည် ဝမ်း​နည်း​တတ်​ကြ၏။ 3 ပ​ညာ​တ​ရား​ကို နှစ်​သက်​သော​သူ​သည် မိ​မိ​အ​ဘ​ကို ဝမ်း​မြောက်​စေ၏။ ပြည့်​တန်​ဆာ​တို့​နှင့် ပေါင်း​ဖော်​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား၊ ဥ​စ္စာ ပြုန်း​တီး​တတ်၏။ 4 တ​ရား​သ​ဖြင့် စီ​ရင်​သော​ရှင်​ဘု​ရင်​သည် တိုင်း​ပြည်​ကို တည်​စေ​တတ်၏။ တံ​စိုး​စား​သော ရှင်​ဘု​ရင်​မူ​ကား၊ တိုင်း​ပြည်​ကို မှောက်​လှန်​တတ်၏။ 5 အိမ်​နီး​ချင်း​ကို ချော့​မော့​သော​သူ​သည် အိမ်​နီး​ချင်း​သွား​ရာ​လမ်း၌ ကွန်​ရွက်​ကို ဖြန့်​ထား၏။ 6 အ​ဓ​မ္မ​လူ​ပြစ်​မှား​ရာ၌ ကျော့​ကွင်း​ထောင်​လျက်​ရှိ၏။ ဖြောင့်​မတ်​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား၊ ရွှင်​လန်း​စွာ သီ​ချင်း​ဆို​တတ်၏။ 7 ဖြောင့်​မတ်​သော​သူ​သည် ဆင်း​ရဲ​သား​အ​မှု​ကို ဆင်​ခြင်​တတ်၏။ မ​တ​ရား​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား၊ ထို​အ​မှု​ကို ပ​မာ​ဏ​မ​ပြု​တတ်။ 8 မ​ထီ​မဲ့​မြင်​ပြု​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် မြို့​ကို​မီး​ရှို့​တတ်၏။ ပ​ညာ​ရှိ​သော သူ​တို့​မူ​ကား၊ ဒေါ​သ​အ​မျက်​ကို လွှဲ​တတ်၏။ 9 ပ​ညာ​ရှိ​သော​သူ​သည် မိုက်​သော​သူ​နှင့် အ​မှု​တွေ့​လျှင်၊ စိတ်​ဆိုး​သည် ဖြစ်​စေ၊ ပြုံး​ရယ်​သည် ဖြစ်​စေ၊ အား​ရ​စ​ရာ​အ​ကြောင်း မ​ရှိ။ 10 လူ​အ​သက်​ကို သတ်​တတ်​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် စုံ​လင်​သော​သူ​ကို မုန်း​တတ်​ကြ၏။ ဖြောင့်​မတ်​သော​သူ​တို့​မူ​ကား၊ သူ​တစ်​ပါး​အ​သက်​ကို စောင့်​မ​တတ်​ကြ၏။ 11 မိုက်​သော​သူ​သည် မိ​မိ​ကြံ​စည်​သ​မျှ​ကို ဖော်​ပြ​တတ်၏။ ပ​ညာ​ရှိ​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား၊ အ​ဆင်​မ​သင့်​မီ ထိမ်​ဝှက်​တတ်၏။ 12 မင်း​သည် မု​သား​စ​ကား​ကို နား​ထောင်​လျှင်၊ ကျွန်​အ​ပေါင်း​တို့​သည် လူ​ဆိုး​ဖြစ်​ကြ​လိမ့်​မည်။ 13 ဆင်း​ရဲ​သော​သူ​နှင့် ညှဉ်း​ဆဲ​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် တွေ့​ကြုံ​ကြ​ပြီ။ ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​သည် ထို​နှစ်​ဦး​တို့​အား အ​လင်း​ကို​ပေး​သ​နား​တော်​မူ၏။ 14 ဆင်း​ရဲ​သား​တို့​ကို တ​ရား​သ​ဖြင့်​စီ​ရင်​သော ရှင်​ဘု​ရင်၏​အာ​ဏာ​တော်​သည် အ​စဉ်​အ​မြဲ တည်​တတ်၏။

15 ကြိမ်​လုံး​နှင့်​ရိုက်​ခြင်း၊ နှုတ်​နှင့် ဆုံး​မ​ခြင်း​အား​ဖြင့် ပ​ညာ​တိုး​ပွား​တတ်၏။ တတ်​တိုင်း​နေ​စေ​သော သူ​ငယ်​သည် အ​မိ​ကို အ​ရှက်​ခွဲ​တတ်၏။ 16 မ​တ​ရား​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် များ​ပြား​သော​အ​ခါ၊ လွန်​ကျူး​ခြင်း​အ​ပြစ် တိုး​ပွား​တတ်၏။ သို့​ရာ​တွင်၊ သူ​တို့​ပျက်​စီး​ခြင်း​ကို ဖြောင့်​မတ်​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် မြင်​ရ​ကြ၏။ 17 သင်၏​သား​ကို ဆုံး​မ​လော့။ သို့​ပြု​လျှင် သူ​သည် သင့်​ကို ချမ်း​သာ​ပေး​မည်။ ထို​မျှ​မ​က စိတ်​ရွှင်​လန်း​စ​ရာ​အ​ခွင့်​ကို ပေး​မည်။ 18 ဗျာ​ဒိတ်​တော်​မ​ရှိ​လျှင်၊ လူ​တို့​သည် အ​ကျိုး​နည်း ဖြစ်​ကြ၏။ တ​ရား​တော်​ကို​စောင့်​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား မင်္ဂ​လာ​ရှိ၏။ 19 စ​ကား​အား​ဖြင့်​သာ ကျွန်​ကို​ဆုံး​မ၍ မ​နိုင်​ရာ။ သူ​သည် နား​လည်​သော်​လည်း၊ နား​မ​ထောင်​ဘဲ​နေ​လိမ့်​မည်။ 20 သ​တိ​မ​ရှိ​ဘဲ စ​ကား​များ​သော​သူ​ရှိ​လျှင်၊ ထို​သူ၌ မျှော်​လင့်​စ​ရာ​အ​ခွင့် ရှိ​သည်​ထက်၊ မိုက်​သော​သူ၌ သာ၍ မျှော်​လင့်​စ​ရာ​အ​ခွင့်​ရှိ၏။ 21 ကျွန်​သည်​ငယ်​သော​အ​ရွယ်​မှ​စ၍ ပျော်​ပါး​အောင် ကျွေး​မွေး​ခြင်း​ကို​ခံ​ရ​လျှင်၊ နောက်​ဆုံး၌ သား​အ​ရာ​ကို ရ​လိမ့်​မည်။ 22 စိတ်​ဆိုး​တတ်​သော​သူ​သည် ခိုက်​ရန်​မှု​ကို နှိုး​ဆော်​တတ်၏။ ပြင်း​ထန်​သော​သူ​သည်​လည်း၊ အ​လွန်​အ​ကျူး​များ​တတ်၏။ 23 မိ​မိ​မာ​န​သည် မိ​မိ​ကို နှိမ့်​ချ​လိမ့်​မည်။ စိတ်​နှိမ့်​ချ​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား၊ ဂုဏ်​အ​သ​ရေ​ကို​ရ​လိမ့်​မည်။ 24 သူ​ခိုး​ကို လက်​ခံ​သော​သူ​သည် မိ​မိ​အ​သက်​ကို မုန်း​တတ်၏။ ကျိန်​ဆို​ခြင်း​ကို ပြု​သော်​လည်း၊ အ​မှု​ကို မ​ဖော်​မ​ပြ​တတ်။ 25 လူ​ကို​ကြောက်​ရွံ့​ခြင်း​သ​ဘော​သည် ကျော့​ကွင်း​ကို​ထောင်​တတ်၏။ ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​ကို ခို​လှုံ​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား လုံ​ခြုံ​လိမ့်​မည်။ 26 မင်း​ပြု​သော​ကျေး​ဇူး​ကို များ​သော​သူ​တို့​သည် ကြိုး​စား၍ ရှာ​တတ်​ကြ၏။ သို့​ရာ​တွင် ခပ်​သိမ်း​သော​သူ​တို့၏​အ​မှု​ကို ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား စီ​ရင်​တော်​မူ၏။ 27 တ​ရား​သော​သူ​သည် မ​တ​ရား​သော​သူ​ကို​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ မ​တ​ရား​သော​သူ​သည် တ​ရား​သ​ဖြင့် ကျင့်​သော​သူ​ကို​လည်း​ကောင်း၊ စက်​ဆုပ်​ရွံ​ရှာ​တတ်၏။

1 He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck

Shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

2 When the righteous are increased, the people rejoice;

But when a wicked man beareth rule, the people sigh.

3 Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father;

But he that keepeth company with harlots wasteth his substance.

4 The king by justice establisheth the land;

But he that exacteth gifts overthroweth it.

5 A man that flattereth his neighbor

Spreadeth a net for his steps.

6 In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare;

But the righteous doth sing and rejoice.

7 The righteous taketh knowledge of the cause of the poor;

The wicked hath not understanding to know it.

8 Scoffers set a city in a flame;

But wise men turn away wrath.

9 If a wise man hath a controversy with a foolish man,

Whether he be angry or laugh, there will be no rest.

10 The bloodthirsty hate him that is perfect;

And as for the upright, they seek his life.

11 A fool uttereth all his anger;

But a wise man keepeth it back and stilleth it.

12 If a ruler hearkeneth to falsehood,

All his servants are wicked.

13 The poor man and the oppressor meet together;

Jehovah lighteneth the eyes of them both.

14 The king that faithfully judgeth the poor,

His throne shall be established for ever.

15 The rod and reproof give wisdom;

But a child left to himself causeth shame to his mother.

16 When the wicked are increased, transgression increaseth;

But the righteous shall look upon their fall.

17 Correct thy son, and he will give thee rest;

Yea, he will give delight unto thy soul.

18 Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint;

But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

19 A servant will not be corrected by words;

For though he understand, he will not give heed.

20 Seest thou a man that is hasty in his words?

There is more hope of a fool than of him.

21 He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child

Shall have him become a son at the last.

22 An angry man stirreth up strife,

And a wrathful man aboundeth in transgression.

23 A man’s pride shall bring him low;

But he that is of a lowly spirit shall obtain honor.

24 Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul;

He heareth the adjuration and uttereth nothing.

25 The fear of man bringeth a snare;

But whoso putteth his trust in Jehovah shall be safe.

26 Many seek the ruler’s favor;

But a man’s judgment cometh from Jehovah.

27 An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous;

And he that is upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked.
